July Moon Bakery and Café

Today my son and I stopped into July Moon and were greeted by the owner, Hanh Nguyen, who was so warm and welcoming.

We don’t get to Alpharetta much with living in the mountains, but my son had saved this cafe as a place for us to check out.

I had the chocolate zucchini bread, my son had a pandan Cinnamon roll, and we brought my husband home an ube Cinnamon roll.

All three things were delicious!!!!

The cafe had such a great feel and was bright and cheery. Hanh and her staff were so friendly…I almost didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be making the trip back to see them, often.

This cafe is one of the best finds this whole year for me coffee shop wise. Beautiful location and store, amazing coffee and the owner has been the one of the most genuine business owners I’ve met this year. They are passionate about their menu items and for good reason! Everything was super delicious (dessert and coffee drinks).

Ordered a vietnamese iced coffee. Very good and authentic. You can change the sweetness level and substitute the condensed milk for other creamers/sweetners if that's not your thing.

Atmosphere was very nice as well and they are dog friendly. May take my pup here one time.

Loved our drinks. Ambience is cute. They do have few games to play. Good spot to hang out with friends. Recommend crème brûlée, mango milk latte , ube-fresh taro milk tea and strawberry milk latte.

A very cool concept in Alpharetta. I usually do not drive out of my way here but the food and drink were worth it. Got the myka and brown sugar milk tea, both topped with ube foam. The taste was amazing and very unique (I might want a lil more foam tho). The ube waffles were good and done quickly, you can add your own drizzle on top! If you can, do check this place out.

Cozy Vietnamese inspired cafe with a great banh mi sandwhich and brown sugar oolong boba. The owner was very nice and told me to let her know if I wanted to make any changes to my drink after I got it.

Great menu selection of really unique drinks. Ordered a Caramel Brûlée Latte and it was really very good, also just a beautiful drink. Their bakery selection looked great and was priced well. I didn’t have any of their savory offerings but could see them warming things up in a skillet.

The drink was the highlight and worth it, despite the high price, especially since parking is easy, and plenty of seating options outside and on the rooftop. Would visit again!

Super cute decor and the woman working (I assume maybe the owner?) was so kind despite it being pretty busy. I got the Owner's Pick and it was sooo good, and so was the ube chocolate chip walnut cookie! The rooftop is well-shaded too.

Loved their coffee and ube waffles. Everything was fresh and delicious. They also have many gluten free options available and dogs are allowed inside the Cafe too. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had a great time.

Super cute cafe vibe with plenty seating options outside and on the roof. Owner is a delight and truly cares about her patrons. Their Vietnamese drip coffee is deliciously yummy! They do offer a small food menu too.

I have wanted to try July Moon Bakery since they opened about six months ago. I finally had the opportunity and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get there sooner as the place is fabulous! From the owner, to the staff, the food, to the beverages, I’ve missed out for months. Now after being there I know I’ll become a regular.

Hubby and I enjoyed The Prince (Vietnamese iced coffee w/ube cheese foam & ube drizzle), a Vietnamese iced coffee w/pandan cheese foam & ube drizzle, and the most delicious pandan bubble waffle with almond drizzle. We were also treated to samples of both ube & matcha soft serve ice cream which were both delicious.

We watched as some fabulous bánh mì were being made and next time we’re definitely going to be having those for lunch, when we intend to sit up on the roof deck and enjoy maybe some of the alcoholic bubble teas!!

We unfortunately missed out on the fresh pineapple buns which were just going into the oven as we were leaving, but as we intend to return whenever we’re in the area, I’m sure we’ll have the opportunity to try them another time.

Super friendly owner and staff, adorable, comfortable, & welcoming place, it’s a total gem!!

New favorite cafe! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. I love their unique flavor options and coffee. Their ube soft serve was delicious.
Cute cafe and when it’s warm, I love the rooftop patio. Also they are dog friendly. I think that’s all that needs to be said lol.

Probably one of my new favorite cafes in Alpharetta! The owner is very nice & attentive. The atmosphere seems great on a sunny day. They support a lot of local artists on the side.

Purely food based review:

The Myka - Ube & Black Sesame goodness. Super unique drink that I'd highly recommend to ppl who love both flavors!

Mocha Strawberry - Seasonal drink. Very chocolatey if you're into that, and strawberries were fresh. We ordered with boba but could've done without.

Pandan Waffle - Highly recommend getting this! Big sharable portion and they give you different sauces to squeeze on. I went with condensed milk and it's super yummy!

We found this place a couple of months ago, but on a Sunday & they were closed. It was thrilling to be back in the area today and eat a sample of the treats their baker offers. We enjoyed their mini cinnamon rolls, soft serve Ube ice cream and mini Ube waffles. I had a Mango Rose Tea (iced) and my bestie had a delicious Americano

First off, they have the best Bánh Mì in town! The size is petite baguette which is smaller than your normal sandwich but the taste is devine. As a Vietnamese, I must say the Bánh Mì's taste is very close to what I grew up having. I would give them a 9/10 for the Bánh Mì.
I came once after they just opened and the milkteas weren't the best (perhaps because I'm very picky with my milkteas) but I revisted them again last week and their teas have definitely improved! They even asked me if the sweetness was okay(which didn't happen the first time) and that they could adjust it for me (a plus for me because, again, I'm very picky with my bobas). I got the Jasmine milkteas both times to compare and I would give them a 7/10 from a 2/10 before.
The passion fruit is super fresh and sweet, right up my alley. I believe it was made with fresh passionfruit because the drink has the passionfruit seeds in them, fun to chew. 8.5/10 for the passionfruit tea.
And ofcourse, their Ube bubble waffle is delicious! 10/10 for this. I have not been able to find flavorful bubble waffles around the area and so glad and stumbled upon this place. Excited to try their other waffle flavors.
The best thing about this place is their atmosphere and people. Super cute and adorable. The bathroom is so so so so pink and cute. Every corner and decoration adds to the general vibe. They also have a rooftop which has plenty of seats but they don't currently have shades and it's quite hot in the summer. But worth to check out. 10000/10 for atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Service was little slow but understandably since it looks like they are understaffed but I was met with hellos and goodbyes.
Would revisit to try their other drinks and Bánh Mì.

Went there couple time after they just opened. Food is very Unique and Delicious. And the atmosphere is attractive to bring a date too.

Went there when they first opened, met the owner, she was very nice and cool. What was really cool was that she remembered me by name when I went back there a couple of weeks after.

The owner is so kind and welcoming. The place is beautiful and such a vibe!

We had the ube pineapple bun, pork and special bahn mi. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Must try their coffee! We had the nitro vietnamese coffee and the leah, the ube cheese foam is phenomenal!! Also, try their ube soft serve *chef's kiss*.

Such a cute bakery / cafe. They serve the cutest baked goods and AMAZING soft serve ice cream. I'm currently eating their lemongrass tofu banh mi and it's delicious. They've got a ton of creative options for drinks, boba milk tea, nitro vietnamese iced coffee, etc. And the atmosphere/ customer service is delightful. Hanh always makes us feel so welcome and appreciated!

July Moon Café is in a brand new building and the decor is very beautiful. It even features rooftop seating which we enjoyed very much. My family and I went to the soft opening and we had a great experience. I had a fantastic drink called July Moon Signature Matcha boba. I’m obsessed with the flavors! On the day I went the café was swamped with customers and the friendly staff was doing an excellent job keeping up with all the orders. I also bought some bags of coffee from local roasters to make at home and we thoroughly enjoyed those. We love the idea of small businesses supporting each other. I can’t wait to go back and try more products.

Had a delicious Korean BBQ sandwich and bubble tea over at this trendy spot in Alpharetta!! Perfect stop for lunch and a sweet treat. Love the work that they're doing in supporting other local businesses with a bookshelf full of local ground coffee, candles, books, etc! Everyone that walks through the door is a new friend in their eyes ♥ Will be returning for that Ube cinnamon roll!
