First of all, I don't post often but I got to say what a treat it was to stumble on this place through a web search. They handled an issue with my order and proactively followed up with me personally right away to sort it out amicably. Felt like I was talking to a fellow Vermonter!

Greatly appreciate the warm customer experience. Looking forward to using my new gear out in the trail even sooner this Spring as apparently the order was shipped immediately as well. I will be buying from this crew again for sure, thank you!

I bought an item from them and USPS never sent the item to the address. The customer support member, Brian, very generously offered to send a replacement using a different carrier just to make sure the item would be sent without issues. Very happy with the purchase and most importantly the best customer service I've had in a long time.

Made a recent purchase through fire penny. Typically these boots have a 4-6 lead time. I got lucky with the size I ordered and it was in stock. Reached out the team and got in contact with Adam to see if these boots could be delivered in three days. Adam wrote me back instantly and made the accommodations for the boots to ship via FedEx 2-day air. Which means They have shipped and I get to receive my boots I ordered on my desired timeline. Great company and the communication is wondering and efficient! Definitely will be buying more items in the future from this company! Thanks again, Adam!

I’m generally skeptical of online businesses. These guys thoroughly impressed me. I ordered leather suspenders, they were the wrong size and it was my fault. Called Dave in customer service. He sent me the correct size during the call and I sent the incorrect size after he sent the correct size on faith. Awesome. I’ve never had such good customer service. Thanks guys.

Customer service is excellent and quick to respond. I got exactly what I ordered pretty fast. Package was was in great condition. I will be ordering more products from this company! I will also make a video review on the product (Phantom Wildfire Backpack) before and after use. I’m excited about this phantom pack as I’m an experienced wildfire fighter!

To say their customer service is exceptional is an understatement! I was tasked with finding some simple fire equipment for our small lumber yard, and after doing some research online, I was completely overwhelmed, as this was a field I have no knowledge in.. I reached out to Firepenny, and they have been such a help! We have now been in touch the last few years, ordering supplies and equipment as our yard grows. They have simplified the process and taken the stress out of it. Time and time again we have received excellent support and advice, and I now refuse to do business with anyone else!

Update to 4.8 star rating. The costumer support has been stupendous. Just got my first structure with the tool and it worked just as I suspected. The pig is a monster anni wish I hadn't ran out of space on the fire cam.

Some of the best customer service I have ever had. I not only got my Pig tool cheaper than other online stores. It also came faster than expected. When the stickers that came with the tool were damaged by the PIG!!! in the delivery process it only took a quick call and within minutes I had stickers sent to me.

The process was great, if I had only one fault it would be with Paypal having issues loading verification and not the Firepenny store. I now have a new place to shop for my fire needs.

Had gotten the wrong product twice. Must have just been a mix up in the supply chain. No big deal, things happen! Customer service was beyond great though. A quick phone call and our problem was taken care of immediately. Very friendly as well. Will use from now on for all of our ambulance maintenance needs.

Also very knowledgeable about their products. This is so important when referencing a part.

I ordered a particulate hood for my son who is a firefighter. Before he had a chance to get it, he found out his fire station was going to purchase hoods for the firefighters. Though more than 7 days had passed, customer service was wonderful and agreed I could return the unopened item for a full refund, even including the shipping. I was very pleased with their responsiveness and concern with customer satisfaction. If my son needs other items I would purchase from Firepenny again, and would highly recommend them.

Firepenny Rocks! I found Firepenny after I placed an order with a competitor who claimed the fire gloves I needed were "in stock". The competitor sent me an email two days later saying that it would take a bit longer to ship. I cancelled the order and found Firepenny. I used the "chat" and got a real person immediately, not a robot trying to feed me FAQ's. They pulled the gloves from stock and told me they could ship same day if I ordered by 2PM!
Then USPS screwed up (according to USPS Priority tracking) after a full week. Firepenny immediately replaced the order and over-nighted it to me.
That's service. I also think they really know their products. They must be firemen themselves.

I ordered a helmet. When I was concerned it wouldn't make it in time for Christmas, I emailed them and got a very quick response and they shipped it immediately. I unfortunately had to return the helmet because I didn't get the one my husband wanted, and they were again very quick and helpful. We will order from them again.

Absolutely fantastic business! I needed a pair of gloves in a pinch and don't live to far away. They let me stop buy and get them. The customer service was awesome. The price was awesome. I cannot say enough kind words about Firepenny!
After researching online for an axe for my firefighter boyfriend, I found the perfect one on Firepenny's site. I received a call from David letting me know that because the order was placed so close to Christmas, I probably wouldn't receive it in time. I was fine with this since I had to wait for a payday before ordering. He let me know he would see what he could do and get back to me, but I didn't have my hopes up due to the last-minute-ness of the order.
David called back a bit later saying he found a way to pull the axe from a different not-time-sensitive order and upgrade the shipping at no cost to me so that my boyfriend would have it by Christmas. He even kept me in the loop with delivery updates the whole time.
I'm floored that customer service to this level still exists anywhere and I can't thank David enough!

Dave was great to work with, he informed me of the wait time on the particular Halligan I was looking at. I really appreciated, as I will be adding this tool to my entry equipment in my patrol car and did not want to wait the possible 10-12 weeks. Thanks again Dave.

Can’t speak highly enough of this company!

For starters, they answered their phone promptly - I didn’t have to wade through the mire that is modern automated answering systems.

Second, they quickly resolved my questions with promptness and enthusiasm - showing real care for their customers!

Third, when one of their items was on a delay, they promptly called me, and when unable to reach me, called me back at reasonable intervals until they were sure they reached me, and helped me resolve the issue.

Overall, this I a great company, I highly recommend doing business with them, and I will definitely be back! Thanks for all the assistance and youR wonderful customer service Firepenny!

I was ready to give these guys a bad review. I placed an order which I didn't receive for almost two months. When I contacted them they immediately refunded the amount charged to my card and shipped the item anyway. Pretty awesome customer service in my book.
