Voted best lunch 2023 --- still dang good today. Friendly service, awesome food! Restaurant is small, but has great outside seating too. They also do a booming take out business judging from the steady stream of smiling faces at the counter.

First time visiting. A fantastic place to get real Soul food with a gourmet taste. My family and I truly loved everything we ordered. A hidden gem in Clanton. Place was packed when we visited, so the people of Clanton know they got a real diamond in their mist.

My first time trying this restaurant. The food was delicious! I had turkey and dressing and it came with two sides and I got Mac and cheese and collard greens. It also came with a drink for the drink I chose peach lemonade which was a little too sweet for my liking. Overall this was a great experience the staff were very friendly and the restaurant was extremely clean.

I just went here for the 1st time and I was thoroughly impressed. I met the owner who came to speak and between her and the staff made me feel like i was visiting family. Great experience! I had the Marry Me Chicken Breast with Glazed Carrots and the Mac N Cheese and it did not disappoint it was all delicious!! If your ever in Clanton, this is a must stop for Lunch! That is the only downfall to this place they only open for lunch, so make sure you during then. Worth every penny.

If you’re driving down I 65 and you want a home cooked meal , well your in luck!😁Take EXIT 205 in Clanton AL Turn right if you’re heading South and left if you’re North go 3.2 miles and on the right you’ll see this delicious little Soulfood café called Gaisha’s Place. I’m a very picky eater and I have to say this was one of the best meals I’ve had in years. I had 2 pieces Dark meat Fried Chicken, purple hull peas, side salad and flat jack cornbread and for dessert BANANA PEACH PUDDING 😋. Believe me it’s worth driving a couple extra miles from all the “Normal” fast food restaurants you see on the freeway. The staff was very friendly, smiling faces and very polite. It has ourdoor or indoor dining. I will definitely be coming back! Thanks for the awesome meal guys!

Had a chance to stop in for a late lunch. Food and atmosphere was great!! The staff was very friendly! Menu has lots of selections and it changes daily. You better come in and see them and get you some good food!! You’re gonna love it!

Gaishs Place is a local hometown restaurant with great home cooked food and customer service.

Speechless. This food was so good, I could eat it everyday. They were out of tea and I let them know and they came out and made some delicious tea within 3 min. 10/10 must try again.

This was my first time eating here. The food is cooked fresh to order. You get so much food and it is good! We enjoyed dining here!

From the second I walked in I felt right at home. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. Genuine smiles and welcoming words from everyone. When I thought it couldn't get better, I was served up the most delicious and authentic southern food I may have ever eaten in my 66 years of life.
Seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. I had the salmon croquette which was fantastic. Fried okra which my granny might have bowed down to. Green beans coudnt have been better. And a perfectly fried piece of corn bread which had to have been born in a cast iron skillet.
Finished it all off with some apple and cinnamon concoction that almost made me cry it was so good.
I going back this Sunday for brunch on the word of a friend who said the chicken and dressing is literally the best he's ever had.
Cant go wrong here..I promise.

The food was amazing and the Flap Jack's were like my grandmother made them. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend you come check it out for yourself. Great Job on everything.

After visiting with family and a great friend, we took a different route home just to explore, and it did NOT disappoint! We found a gem! Gaisha’s Place was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!! Happy New Year!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I had the Turkey and Dressing with fried okra and onion rings. Oh my gosh...... Just like grandmother used to make it. I could eat every meal here. I highly recommend.....

I have to say, this is by far the BEST soul food I've ever put in my mouth! When I worked in town, I ate here literally every day.... and so did my staff! We were never disappointed!
