Holiday Inn Express Clanton, an IHG Hotel

One thing I will say first and foremost. If you are trying to decide between this hotel and the best western, take note that this hotel has much more comfortable beds and less problems with their toilets, apparently. Also they have an automatic pancake machine that gives you two tasty pancakes and under 2 minutes. Best part? You can push the button as many times as you want!

My family and I lost our home to a fire ,we stayed at this hotel that night and the staff were very kind to us once they found out why we were there.the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was a ruff time for us but this hotel and staff tried their best to take care of us and go the extra mile. Thank you

This location is perfect for my trips down to our Florida home, about 11 hours drive. If you stay here, you must go to peach park for the BBQ. The front desk people need more training as with reward nights.

I stayed one night for work and the hotel was great! Nice staff, clean rooms and a great breakfast. This was a nice stay and excellent during a high wind storm. It was a restful stay.

Our room was extremely clean, the staff friendly, but most importantly...the shower/water pressure was amazing! I highly recommend staying at this locale, especially if traveling with family.

We are quick to write reviews when something is wrong and not so quick when they are good. I wrote a bad review on one of their motels in North Carolina and it was a pretty bad experience. This weekend I had the privilege of staying at another one of their rooms, and it was very pleasant. Place was clean and quiet and the service was good. I will remember this and give the chain another chance.

Clean, comfortable, and courteous sums up our stay here. And a great breakfast to boot! Located right behind Peach Park, Whataburger, and Waffle House giving you plenty of food and snack options as well. The room was just as advertised which is a good thing these days. No surprises. Nice beds, huge tub, and some fantastic a/c (freezing almost!).

After stopping at the Embassy Suites in Birmingham and being so totally grossed out that we left, we drove a bit further to this Holiday Inn Express. This is probably the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at and cleanliness is our main concern. The lady at the front desk (Debra I think?) was very friendly, the room was very clean, beds were comfortable, room was quiet, and even the breakfast was perfect! So glad we left the other hotel and landed at this one.

When I came in to check in, the 2 ladies at the front desk were swamped! People in line, phone ringing off the hook. But they handled it so well and were so incredibly friendly. It was Friday, July 30th. I truly appreciated the kindness and friendliness.
The rooms were clean. Beds comfy. Breakfast in the morning was great. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay again. Thank you

The hotel room was nice and very clean. I booked my reservation about a 30 minutes before my arrival. Once I arrived, the lady at the front desk already had my room to ready to go. That was the quickest check I've ever had and was really great because I was tired from driving all day. Great customer service and a nice clean hotel. Highly recommend.

Con-careful on the driveway, it's about a 50 degree angle into the parking lot, watch your bumpers.

I booked online and accidentally booked for the wrong night. I used, what I found out too late, to be a questionable company to book through. Maria at the front desk did everything she could to try to fix the situation. Best customer service I've ever received at a hotel. We didn't end up staying because after the fiasco and not being sure if we'll receive a refund, we had to go somewhere cheaper, but everything was very new and clean in the lobby.

Great place. More than the others but worth it. Beds comfortable. Sheets soft and cool. Not all starchy. Very clean. Good hot breakfast. Will stay here again if I am in the area.

This was a great stay & I would stay again. It was clean and family friendly. The beds were very comfortable and my family got a good night's sleep. The breakfast area was clean as well. Would stayou again while passing through the area.

Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds and nice new pillows. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was hot. I just wish they would stop calling them "omelettes". I would be surprised if there were any eggs involved with the omelettes lol

Amy, at the front desk, was fabulous! She was very hospitable and kind. The room was fresh, clean, and so comfortable. Very impressed with the selection of breakfast choices in the morning. Well worth the money spent!
