St. Stephen's Green Publick House

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at St Stephen’s this week. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming with the tavern decor and fireplace warmth. Our server, Earle, was friendly, professional and on point to make our evening even more special. The food was delicious. Our group had seafood pot pies (bay scallops, shrimp, crabmeat in a creamy sauce with light and fluffy pastry), fish and chips (my 19 year old is hard to fill up but he loved this dinner and was “full”), Waterford wrap (shrimp, crab and spinach), and a half and half (1/2 pastrami and 1/2 corned beef). Kudos to the chefs and kitchen staff. Everything was delicious including the lamb sliders for appetizer. This place reminds me of being a child at my Irish aunts and uncles home. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Best Chicken Murphy ever!!!! Would definitely go back. Close to good sports (8 minutes away) which is why we were even in the area for a soccer tournament but I'd drive 40 minutes back just for that dish. Wife had the salmon which was also good & you taste the kids chicken tenders were freshly made in house (Not the frozen garbage) My other little one had the chili with chips which was tasty too. Kudos to the chef! Only suggestion is tell both of your hostesses to get off their phones & greet people when they're leaving especially during a busy Saturday evening. That was turn-off

Yup. Get yourself here. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. The bartender, Pat, is fantastic, and you'll, without a doubt, have a great time just interacting with him. The food was also top notch - I recommend the bacon wrapped scallops and the Dublin Rolls. Everyone is super friendly so don't be surprised if you make a couple friends along the way, too. Those Irish folk are just the best. Slainte.

The best Irish pub at the Jersey Shore and possibly all of NJ. Great atmosphere which makes you feel like you are in Ireland. Great food selections to make you mouth water. Great service from Bartenders and wait staff. Also, always great Guinness, Harp and more. You will love St. Stephen's Pub no doubt. Sláinte!

Great True Irish Pub. Bar has top bourbons and ryes. Menu is hearty and honest - and the atmosphere is joyous and positive. The staff attentive, warm and caring.

Go there- feel good!

The service was great and the place was clean and well distance(they are working at a 25% capacity) The food was really good, my husband and I enjoyed it. Tasty Irish food, I totally recommend it to anyone! Love this place, it never disappoints.

Very quickly becoming my favorite restaurant! Celtic burger is best burger at the shore. Best pint of Guinness around easily. Live entertainment is wonderful as well. Waiters/waitresses/bartenders and hosts are very friendly. I actually cannot think of a negative!

What a great place. Food is way better than expected. They nailed the Irish public house feel. . Service was excellent. The Irish dip was amazing. So many things to choose from on the menu . And great beer selection . Lively welcoming place filled with locals . Food is very reasonably priced .

My first time here certainly won't be my last! Impressive Irish pub. Excellent staff.

Really nice Irish pub. There were only a few other tables in the whole place which made it quiet and calm. Food was great and authentic, decent prices as well. The interior is cozy and a lot nicer than the average pub. Great bar area with an additional back room. Fireplace is a nice touch too.

Great Irish pub! Nice atmosphere, dark wood, 2 levels, and fireplace on 2nd level. Wonderful menu of traditional irish fare along with irish american choices. They have fabulous Irish music sessions every Tuesday evening. Staff is great too, friendly and efficient. It's one of my favorite places to go either on a date for 2, or a family dinner.

Authentic Irish bar with authentic food. Cod fish sandwich had a crispy outside coating that stayed on the fish. The fish was light and flaky and not a bit dry. Very nice lunch.

Delicious food and great music. Nice experience sitting by the fire listening to live Irish folk music. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Stopped by for a drink this time. Love the atmosphere! Service was fantastic and prices were fair / common for our area. Haven't eaten there in awhile but when we did it was excellent

Smithwick’s Red - really great with The Railway sandwich!

On a whim had lunch here and I’m so glad we did!! Awesome atmosphere, great service and the meatloaf was outstanding. A perfect pint of Guinness!!

Delicious meal served in a casual atmosphere. The salads are generous as are the burgers and entrees. This time I had the Fairway Mews salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The shepherds pie is perfect comfort food.

My favorite restaurant. That's all I have to say. Great atmosphere. The band on Tuesday is wonderful. The pub food tastes better than the food at most restaurants from 98 to 82. Great place to be. I could go everyday.

Always delicious and generous portions.
Their fish and chips is fresh with a crispy, tasty breading. I had the Carbomb Cheesecake for dessert. Yum!
