They literally have it done to a science. Atmosphere is bad because homeless people (wizards) chill out inside, sometimes they are scary. One time moe had some of my grimace shake, and he threw up. And staff got made at him, and told him to leave, and it made me sad :(

It’s Nice😀😀! Folks that work there treated me Good and the order was delivered piping hot yep😀. You all out there do yourselves a favor, go on over there and eat some lunch and dinner with some of their cooking, you’ll be Happy you did😀😀

Ok McDonald's and served the cheap McCoffee very quickly while I was transferring busea. Appreciated my coffee made my way.

Got a great deal for free McNuggets through the McDonald’s app and just needed to go to the store for pick up.

They remodelled awhile back (I’ve lived in Berkeley for well over 10 years) and it’s really nice inside. They have bar stools by the windows for you to sit or tables as well. There’s a touchscreen kiosk to order inside if you don’t feel like talking to people or you can order at the cashier.

I think a manager was helping me with my order but I’m not sure, I didn’t get her name. She was nice and pleasant. I went in around noon on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all.

Normally I order through this store on DoorDash and those orders have all been 10/10 no issues.

I used to work at the nearby Marine recruiting station where this McD's is located. The reason for my rating was because we got our windows smashed up once and the manager (?) stopped by and gave us some coupons for Big Macs. Completely unexpected, but we appreciated it!

The employees are polite, although I always go in the early AM as soon as they're open. Be mindful of some of the homeless and addicts that come in sometimes because some of them have given the employees an unnecessary hard time making the process of other patrons trying to order their meals much longer.

It's pretty busy and takes a while to get your order but they are trying to improve their input on the way that everything is going and they are and have very much improved everything

My favorite lunch spot in Berkeley! I hope that it is not torn down to make room for more apartments. The city council wants to allow people to live in Berkeley but how can anyone live without McDonalds!

Haven't eaten there on a regular basis for breakfast and lunch lately, the customer service at this location reflects badly on the McDonald's chain.... No toilet seat cover in the men's restroom for 5 days and no apologies. Stale apple fritters and difficulties when alternative to replace them requested.

Hopefully with more people speaking up, customer service will benefit. Contacting the corporation has indeed been received well.

This is one of my all-time favorite McD's franchises! It's clean, it's fast as hell, and the staff and manager all work very hard to consistently get things right. To those criticizing the presence of folks experiencing homelessness outside -- I hope you get soggy, cold fries (which this location would never serve you, as it is generally excellent).

I had to rate this McDonald's five stars because it is sooo much better, in every way, than any in nearby Oakland. For some reason Oakland McDonald's restaurants are pretty horrible when compared to everywhere else. For whatever reason, Berkeley locations seem to be a huge step up, get your order right (why is this so difficult in Oakland) and are fast and friendly. Oh, they also can do coffee ((rolls eyes)).

This is a new place serving gourmet dining. The owner, a bit eccentric with his bright orange hair and huge smile seemed nice enough. The food specialty a sandwich called a hamburgay.. Delicious.

Standard McDonalds food and drink. Highly concentrated homeless population that utilizes the restroom and fountain soda pop machine without paying for anything. Be wary of these details, and you might actually be happy after you order your Happy Meal at this location. Berkeley is an amazing town, and most of the homeless are harmless, just plentiful at this Mickey D's. Be advised.

It's okay, the sausage burritos are tasty, highly recommended. And it's really quick, I only waited 2 minutes for my order. Cheap enough comparing with other restaurants. :)

They always have good cheap food and coffee in the morning.

The dining room is now open. Not sure how late, but they also have diet Dr pepper. Yay! Score!

The service was great. The staff is very helpful. I had time to eat and attend my CPR class. Thank you for everything.
