Went for my birthday and j really like it. It $15-$20 per person but the dessert is rlly big you can split it with your friend. Music (lana del rey & the weeknd) and vibe is cozy bar and chill.

We’ve heard and read about this place for a while and we finally had the chance to try it out and WOW! The food was great! Not one complaint here. Our server was so sweet to us and we got out orders in fast. To be fair we went in on a Sunday around 5:30PM. Overall it was a great for small bites and great tasting desserts. Highly recommend the Tai Tea Cake and Takoyaki!

I love this place! The honey cheesecake is very creamy and not too sweet. A little expensive but not too bad for good quality desserts and drinks. The vibes are very chill and is a great place to stop by for a snack or hang out with friends!

Very good food and very good. The design of the restaurant looks very good and is very busy and fluent. The food came out fast was nice and warm and was very delicious the desert was to die for and the presentation was amazing and the menu explained a lot of stuff that was in the foods and what you've got. And you were able to look at other tables and see all the food they had offered. So definitely check the spot out as it's very good

Love the idea of this place.

Many desserts here that you simply cannot get at other places.

The person working while we were there was very nice as well!

Our pandan cake was delicious and would definitely have again. (It was a bit sweet though for my liking)

They also serve some high quality tea here to go with the desserts and I find that wonderful.

This place is a tea party on steroids.

Would recommend checking out for fun with friends!

Great desserts, I loved the lychee cake! Products were fresh, servers were friendly (my water cup was never empty!) and the atmosphere is nice.

I tried the Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu at "U: dessert story," and it was awesome! The way they served it looked really cool, with shaved ice, mango chunks, and coconut milk all mixed in. It tasted so good – the mango was sweet and juicy, and the sticky rice added a nice chewy texture. They gave a big portion, so it's great for sharing. The place had a cozy vibe, which added to the experience. If you like Bingsu or just want a tasty dessert, definitely give the Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu at "U: dessert story" a shot. It's like a tropical treat!

We ordered the Thai Tea Cake and Japanese Cheesecake with Lychee IceCream. Wow, wow, wow and wow. Popped in on a whim, glad we did!

This is my first Ube bingsu. It’s topped with salted caramel and bobas are on the side. We also added Mango! This is great. And the employees are so kind!

The Thai tea toast is so delicious!!! We ate it second after finishing the mango sticky rice bingsu and it was still so delicious. The toast was hot, and so soaked in the sweet sauce; the texture of the bread was lovely and came in lovely presentation with fruits. The mango sticky rice bingsu was also really delicious, with a really nice fine bingsu texture, not just chunks of ice. The quality of all the fruits they used was really high too. Not a huge fan of the sticky rice but that might just be me. The drinks are not really worth it. I got a matcha strawberry fizz and the matcha flavor was not super strong and the drink was pretty watery, pretty much just like strawberry lemonade. My friend got the blue lychee drink which was pretty good but tasted like any lychee tea drink with popping boba. Really nice environment and good service too!

Beloved Asian-style desserts, daring, unique and innovative.

It’s that sudden urge of “trying something new” or the curiosity of “what are they innovating lately?” that keeps me coming back.

Also a cozy place to celebrate with a small group, with vibrant colorful desserts, a candle sparkler and a kid-like lighthearted vibe.

Love the food here, creative and fun, be patient with service, or don't expect any...
Our service was actually bad 👎, still gave 22 %, not even a Thankyou. Maybe she believes that's what you call service, but we all agreed that she believed she was entitled to.
I will go back to SF

My best dessert place in the bay area! The dishes are right on sweetness and are very pretty to the eye and are brilliantly choreographed. I really liked the mango sticky rice toast, padan fondue and volcano bingsue. Would love to visit this place again.

We door-dashed from this place last night and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the matcha crepe cake and 2 Ube boba drinks. The cake came with red bean paste and some sort of matcha icing topping. Even though the slice was small, was rich enough to split between two people. The Ube boba drinks were sweet (which we loved) and the boba was soft and chewy and delicious. Will definitely be trying their other treats!

Very cute dessert but overpriced date night spot. All the items are soooo IG worthy. We got the Thai tea brick toast which was pretty sweet, so we’ll try the honey brick toast next time. The mango sticky rice bingsu was also very good and refreshing. Pass on the matcha mochi, it was way too earthy.

What I didn’t like was the mandatory 20% tip. And then when they give you the ereader for the receipt, it has the audacity to ask for even more tip.

I really enjoyed getting dessert here! The inside of the restaurant is super cute and they have nice outdoor seating as well. Everything was pretty reasonably priced and delicious! The crepe cake was great.

so many beautiful and unique desserts! service is usually pretty fast. they do have a 8$ minimum per person for 6+ people, but this is pretty easy to hit.

So delicious! Slow service but worth the wait. Decaf latte, coconut layer cake, and matcha lava cake superb. This is my new go to dessert place in Berkeley.

We came on a Friday night around 8~9pm and was seated quickly even though the place was packed. Love the cute designs and we were lucky to get the sofa seats - so comfy! The choco bingsoo was really good with a rich and deep chocolate flavor which is balanced out by the salted cream cheese. The Thai tea crepe was also good, tasted just right but I thought the layers would be more thin.
