Old world, quiet, settled atmosphere. Barstools and wooden tables. Scrambled eggs and cheese on croissant was EXCELLENT, as was the breve.

As far as cafes go, it doesn’t get better than this. High quality food, amazing service, and great vibe! Can’t wait to come back again

This is our favorite non-fancy bougie breakfast and coffee place in Berkeley. I always get the croissant breakfast sandwich with orange juice. They also serve THE avocado toast (the one that prevents us millennials from buying property) and their iced coffees are delicious too.

Just visited today for brunch, the food is delicious, the fruit is fresh and the arrangement is delicate. I like the vibe in this restaurant, staff are young and energetic. They have indoor or outdoor seating.

Had breakfast here 3 days this week, it was delicious! The manager was so kind and the ladies were helpful. Organic fare fresh fruit cup with mint and croissant breakfast sandwich. Expanded parklet weather was beautiful.

Yum … wonderful polenta and hot chocolate

Hands down best breakfast we had when in Berkeley. Fresh ingredients, decent portions, and good prices. Highly recommend this spot!

Excellent taste and added fruit is very good. Lattes served in bowls beautiful decorations on milk.

Ordered: eggs polenta and apple ricotta toast. Oat chai and Cuban coffee.

Food: the apple ricotta toast was delish. Perfectly toasted and an even layer of cheese and apple to balance the flavors. The Eggs polenta was ok, while the polenta was cooked well, creamy and slightly thick. The choice of toppings, in my opinion, overpowered the senses. The gorgonzola was far too pungent and thick, did not mix well with the sweet sauteed onions. And 2 halved calamata olives added too much salt to the dish when combined with the cheese. The egg was cooked perfectly over easy, so that upon breaking the yolk mixed in deliciously. My recommendation would be swap the gorgonzola for an herb goat cheese and mince the olives, better balance and even texture distribution.

The service: was great, our waiter was very kind and despite being backed up in the kitchen and the only one taking orders he checked in frequently. I -1 star due to the appearance that there were 2 waitstaff standing idly as a line formed.

Atmosphere: niche and eclectic! Loved it!

A favorite of mine for breakfast. Simple menu and tasty. Love their poached eggs and they offer them in dishes. They serve Artis coffee👍👍 which is so smooth with low acidity. Great vibe inside their small dining area.
You will have to wait at busy times (only has 5-6 tables and counter seating) but I won't remove a star for that. It is worth the wait or just come at non peak times.

My favorite coffee and lunch place in the area. All food and coffee made with care. A truly independent place with great salads, soups, sandwiches and more.

The wokest cafe in Berkeley (I joke) also happens to be owned by one of the nicest owners in the East Bay, who runs this tiny spot, with expert efficiency churning out simple, yet elegant fresh and healthy food, excellent brewed coffee espresso drinks, all served with a no-nonsense power to the people attitude that political vets in the East Bay can relate to and enjoy. Highly recommended

Waffle of the day and a mocha are the perfect way to start any Berkeley adventure!!

This place is tiny, so it can be a little hard to score a seat. But, once you do, you're in for a real treat! The coffee is amazing, and the food is uniformly delicious. They have one rotating waffle per day, and I've never been disappointed with the selection - the waffles are topped with a little yogurt and fresh seasonal fruit. I'm also partial to the smoked salmon plate, which has toast, poached eggs, smoked salmon, cucumber, and capers. The best way to do Guerilla, in my opinion, is to go with two people and split a savory option and a sweet option for the best of both worlds.
