Our September wedding was catered by Sugarsnap as the exclusive caterer at the Barn at Smugglers' Notch. The food was delicious, local, fresh, and so beautiful! Sugarsnap tailored the menu to our specific vision, and was great about accommodating dietary restrictions. Our guests continue to rave about the food! We worked closely with Kristen and Sam who helped pull everything together, and worked flawlessly with the team at the Barn. Not only was everything delicious, but food was served quickly and seamlessly to our large guest count. Sugarsnap was also incredibly helpful in our linen rentals, and helped us to coordinate a custom order to meet our vision. They clearly prioritize quality, service, and aesthetics and it shows! Thank you Kristen and Sam! It was a pleasure working with you!

The staff at Sugarsnap Catering are magicians! Their food is delicious. They were punctual, proactive and friendly. The weather for our outdoor July wedding was pretty iffy, but they persevered gracefully and with smiles on their faces! They also handled a challenging moment with a guest discreetly and kindly. AND they managed the whole event without any power or water. Magicians! I couldn't recommend them more!

Our February wedding was catered by Sugarsnap, and it was AWESOME! They were so nice, professional, creative, and the food was perfect in every way. We were so lucky to have them for our wedding!!

The absolute best around! Kristen and her team are professional, engaging, empathetic and truly care that your wedding or event is perfected to your image. They worked with us and made so many changes and alterations last minute to make the experience a perfect one. They are easily the best around! Their chicken and waffles is an amazing appetizer, while their entrees for weddings are out of this world. Easily the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! Can’t recommend them enough!

We used Sugarsnap for our wedding through The Barn at Smuggler's Notch, and they were INCREDIBLE! All of the food was delicious and we still have guests reaching out to us to tell us how it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. Kristen, Sam and the Sugarsnap team were great throughout the planning process - very professional, responsive, and flexible in tailoring the menu to our vision. All of the food was so seasonally delicious and locally sourced, we chose the fried chicken as one of our entrees and it was AMAZING. The dessert bar was 10/10 and the whoopie pies were also crowd favorite! Cannot recommend them enough!

We used Sugarsnap as our caterer for our fall 2022 wedding at ECHO and the food was PHENOMENAL. I am still amazed by how fresh and perfectly-cooked everything was, especially considering the fact that they served 130 guests. The servers were very professional and kind and the team even worked to accommodate our kids and certain dietary restrictions. We planned with Martin who went out of his way to answer our questions and met with us many times leading up to the wedding to make sure everything would be organized and prepared. I cannot recommend Sugarsnap enough for both quality of food and service!

Sugarsnap catered my parents' 60th wedding anniversary party at Killkare State Park in St. Albans. They saved us when at the last minute our original caterer backed out. They went out of their way to help us out of our predicament and we were thrilled with the results. Amazing food and spectacular service from our server/bartender Nicole. Absolutely top notch and if I could rate higher than 5 stars they would deserve it!

We had such a good experience working with Sugarsnap Catering for our June 2022 wedding. We mainly corresponded with Kristen and Sam and they were both incredibly organized, helpful and kind throughout the entire wedding planning process. We received so many compliments on the food served at our wedding - everyone raved about the hors d'oeuvres, the meal and the late-night pizza snack. Amazing food, service and people! We worked long distance with Abbey at Sugarsnap during the pandemic to plan our daughter's May 2021 wedding reception. She made everything incredibly easy and was available and timely with all of our questions. The menu options were expansive -- enough to meet the needs of all our guests with such variety. It was important to me that we highlight local ingredients, and that is simply a part of Sugarsnap's mission. Once the event finally arrived, we were anxious to sample the food after having planned for so long! We couldn't have been happier. The food was fresh, prepared and served so beautifully, and so delicious! Abbey and her staff were easy to work with -- professional but at the same time incredibly friendly and easygoing. The staff was also diligent about safety and comfort of the guests during the reception. We were glad they could be a part of our celebration, and I highly recommend them for yours!

We were nervous organizing our outdoor campground wedding during COVID (July 17, 2021) but Kristen and Sam heard every concern and thought and helped make our wedding flow. We had a blast and didn’t have to lift a finger—Sam’s day of coordination skills were amazing, and Kristen was super responsive in advance. The staff at the wedding went above and beyond to keep folks comfortable and help with a few other tasks.

The food was completely delicious and Sam baked us some amazing pies for dessert that were a hit.

They were professional, adaptive, great to work with, and in advance really helped reassure us and make sure we had what we needed (without renting unnecessary things).

THE BEST. I recently worked with Kristen Beaver at Sugarsnap and to say the food was amazing is an understatement. First off, Kristen was awesome to work with. She was efficient, friendly, funny and helpful. The food was BEYOND delicious. We had about 72 people in attendance who loved everything. The party was over a week ago and employees keep telling me how much they loved the food! The staff was so kind and friendly. Sugarsnap was a huge factor in the success of our party! I highly recommend Sugarsnap for your next event! We can't wait to work with them again!

This is the first time I have ever hired a caterer and the experience was positive plus. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Working with the Sugarsnap staff to plan the event was amazing. Tessa listened to my suggestions, concerns and menu choices and put together a fantastic menu that met the taste of a very diverse group of 90 plus people. She also asked all the right questions to help clarify many points I had never considered when one is planning to feed 90 people and it is not pot luck!
The event was my daughter's wedding reception, held at our house in the country with minimal access to water, electricity or a kitchen. Everything arrived seemingly fresh from the oven even though that oven was 30 miles away! Many guests commented on how delicious everything was including the cauliflower cakes, the lime jalapeno coleslaw and the best cornbread ever! I was completely unaware of the setup and break down and the food was ready to go right on schedule. The staff checked in with me periodically throughout the afternoon and early evening to see if there was anything else I would like them to do and to be sure they were meeting all of my expectations.
I really can't say enough positive things about Sugarsnap Catering. Great food, great service, and great people!

This was my first experience using Sugar Snap to cater a small (20 people) outdoor company event this winter. I worked with Gare and found him to be very helpful and extremely responsive. I am new to the catering process and was a little unsure of what might be best for our outing, and Gare provided wonderful suggestions that worked for us. He was flexible and able to accommodate our every need. I will be using them again for sure! Highly recommend. Great experience.

From the first bite to that last bite, the food from Sugersnap was sublime. The food was fresh and seasonal. The staff were accommodating and responsive. Multiple guests told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding, which is saying something. Loved every bite.

Sugarsnap was an incredible choice for catering and bar for our wedding weekend. We worked specifically with Kristen Beaver who was hands-down the best possible individual we could have ever hoped for to help coordinate our wedding day. From numerous e-mails and phone calls to accommodating multiple tastings due to my wife’s food allergies, Kristen was the ultimate professional and kept us at ease as we were planning the wedding ourselves from out of state.

Kristen also served as the coordinator and point person for all of our vendors throughout the day and took charge when needed, checking in with us only when necessary. She was kind, flexible, calming, and incredibly organized - leaving us feeling confident even when the weather forecasts changed by the second. It was looking doubtful that we’d be able to have the outdoor wedding ceremony we had always dreamed of, but Kristen suggested we wait out the weather, and sure enough, we were able to get married outside with a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in the background.

In spite of all of the weather, Sugarsnap did a fantastic job moving our planned outdoor cocktail hour inside quickly and efficiently, wiped down the chairs several times after each downpour, and even brought in appetizers and drinks to our wedding party when our post-ceremony photo shoot was taking longer than expected. We opted for a family style meal and the food and service were outstanding. We received so many compliments on the food and bar service and guests are still talking about it today. We so wish we could go back and re-experience our day.

Fantastic wedding caterer. Guests were raving about the BBQ buffet we served at our event on 9/8/18. Kristen was a super helpful and patient coordinator and held our hand through the entire process. The entire staff was friendly. We’re so glad we chose Sugarsnap! Most importantly the food was delicious -- from the passed apps to the dessert cupcakes, these guys are incredible. Book them!

Whenever I need to host a classy luncheon, I always turn to the SugarSnap team. Deliveries are always punctual, and they consistently follow-up for feedback or ideas for improvement; the next luncheon any of my tiniest ideas have been incorporated. Their responsiveness is the best I’ve seen from any food delivery service. Most importantly, the food is amazing; event attendees consistently praise the flavors and presentation. The SugarSnap team has also always been able to provide me with a delicious meal within a plethora of different limited dietary needs. They truly raise the bar for quality food delivery and are worth every penny.

Recently we had Abbey and her team cater our very small pandemic wedding and it was incredible. The food was so good, I’m still thinking about it! They also did our cake which was easily the best I’ve ever had, and our bar service. Professional, kind, and would use them again and again for any needs we have! Thank you!
