Dr Capelo is so knowledgeable and personable with his clients. I take both of my girls to see him when they need something. He spends time with you and makes sure he knows exactly what is going on before he makes his decision of what needs to be done! Hands down the best children’s orthopedic around. You can not go wrong seeing him as your child’s doctor!

We had a very good experience with Dr. Capelo and staff. The nurse Ruth did an amazing job helping keep our 21mo old with a broken arm calm and happy. The office is very nicely decorated for kids and having a few toys in the waiting room was just great to help pass the time for a kiddo who doesn’t like doctor’s offices.

Dr. Capelo is very knowledgeable and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He was great with my child and he made sure he had my son's trust from the very beginning of the visit. He spoke directly to my son to ensure he understood treatment moving forward. He's open to alternative forms of treatment and was very upbeat and funny. He was awesome!!!!

Dr. Capelo and his staff are the best! Five stars isn’t enough to describe our experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+++++. My daughter had an injury to her arm from playing basketball. I saw 7 physicians, 4 of which were specialists (one was the hand and arm specialist for several Dallas Maverick’s players) and they all misdiagnosed my child! I spent 10 months and lots of money and my child endured a lot of pain before hearing about Dr. Capelo. He was relatable, compassionate, knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to talk to. He truly wants the best for your child and for the family. At the first appointment, he diagnosed her with a radius fracture in her elbow area (she had it the whole 10 months) and a tumor at the same location. He referred us to the best doctor for situations like this (involving the tumor). She recovered from that surgery and fracture and she recently had another basketball injury. This time I came to Dr. Capelo immediately and he diagnosed her with an ulnar nerve injury and started treatment from the first visit. Not only is Dr. Capelo the best, but his office staff are stellar. Kim in the office is wonderful and worked hard to get us our insurance situation covered before the visit. Dr. Capelo’s assistant/tech patiently spent over 20 minutes trying to recover xrays from my online portal from another medical network! Then, another office person came in to tell us that we can order her splint from Amazon for $19.95 and it would be easier to use than the splint they would have to build for her during that visit. Wow! They could’ve made a lot more money billing insurance for building a splint. I left their office feeling so relieved both times. I truly believe Dr. Capelo and his office staff love their patients and want to heal them. I only wish I could find physicians this amazing for myself!

Feels like my family doctor whenever I visit Dr Capelo for my kid. He always perform the thorough analysis before recommending any treatment. Treatment is also as only necessary. One thing that's not in Dr.'s hand, there will always be long wait before someone will come to look at. Not sure if this is office time management issue or Dr Capelo being super high in demand and no one wants to wait for treatment forcing him to be over occupied, in either case its no big deal for me for the efficiency of service and trust I get here.

Took our 11 year old for a fracture. Very friendly staff, willing to explain and listen. We were very happy and would recommend!

Dr. Capelo was very thorough with my daughter and explaining what things meant so far as her knee recovery and what it would take to get back to some sense of normalcy after her injury. He even called after hours to go over her MRI results. The office staff was also very great and helpful.

Dr. Capelo is awesome! He’s very patient, a great listener, comes up with effective, practical solutions without being pushy at all. He doesn’t dismiss anything that you have to share and he makes children and their thoughts feel valued. Great Dr. all in all!

Dr. Capelo and his staff were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty, and my son healed right on target. As a mom of all boys, we will definitely be back to see Dr. Capelo!

First visit and I loved Dr. Capelo's as well as his staff's attention to detail.

Scheduling an appointment was easy and the entire office staff is super sweet. Dr. Capelo gave us a lot of information and had a great bedside manner. When I had to call with one more question after our appointment, the office was quick to call back and very patient with all the clarification that I needed. Very happy with this entire experience and would definitely recommend!

Dr. Capelo and his staff are amazing! Having a child with an injury can be a stressful time. Dr. Capelo made sure our daughter understood her injury and what the road to recovery looked like. His staff went above and beyond when getting us in promptly and getting us referrals. I would give Dr. Capelo and his staff 10 stars if I could and will be telling all of my sports mom friends about him!

Dr. Capelo and his staff are always very caring and take the time to go over everything, discuss the full treatment plan, and answer questions.They go above and beyond even doing the little things like having stickers, suckers, and adding glitter to casts to make them pretty. I highly recommend Dr. Capelo to anyone looking for a pediatric orthopedic.

I can’t say enough good things about this office. From top to bottom the staff is AWESOME. Dr Capelo is honestly just a cool doc, but has amazing bedside manners and has the most awesome shoe collection! For teens…this guy is a big hit. Also, his PA’s are incredible. They are very thorough, lay out a great plan of care and I can’t recommend them more. I certainly hope we don’t need any more Ortho needs, but if we do, THIS IS THE PLACE!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. My daughter is a 13 year old, very high level Volleyball player. She suffered a scary ankle sprain, even with braces on. Dr. Capelo, and his staff, saw my daughter on short notice. I have never had an experience like this. The staff understood that volleyball is everything to my daughter, and my daughter is everything to me. He took his time, examined every aspect of her ankle, x-rays, and put a game plan together that I feel comfortable with, and she feels comfortable with. I'm most impressed with their sport knowledge. They understand the level in which she plays at, and put health in front of play, while considering how fast she can return to play, without future injury. This will be my go to for both of my kids ortho visits. If you have kids that play high level sports, I think this is place to go.

Dr. Capelo was thorough, asked questions, took his time with my daughter and her exam and allowed time for us to ask questions. We never felt rushed, and having a doctor who understands the athletes in a competitive sports environment.
