A marvelous place for an assortment of imported and domestic cheeses. The selection is not encyclopedic, but it is thoughtful and well-cared for. There's always a fine balance of styles and provenance. And there are many tempting non-cheese items (crackers, tinned fish, etc.) and accessories to choose from. A great store to have in the Milwaukee area.

Great local cheese shop with such good variety, both local and international. Love all of the charcuterie accompaniments, such as delicious olives, meats, and crackers. Excellent and well priced wine selection. Buy to go or enjoy in the store!

Had a the Jamon Mahon sandwich here for a quick lunch. Quality all the way around!! Amazing bread, cheese, meat, etc. Very enjoyable and tasty and just the right amount. Glad I decided to stop in and I’ll be back!

I'm a huge fan of this shop. An excellently curated selection of cheese (predominately imported but also some wonderful Wisconsin selections!), cured meats, tinned and jarred snacks (both savory and sweet) and wine! The staff is knowledgable and helpful; it's a great place to stop for some quality groceries, or for a beautiful sandwich or salad at the counter!

This place was awesome and they definitely displayed outstanding midwest hospitality. Glad to take home a fine product of Wisconsin with me.

Service is the highlight of the Cheese Shop! The variety of choices, the quality of products and Sabina’s knowledge is comparable to no one! This is an awesome business in Wauwatosa and the wine-cheese of the month is awesome!!!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch today at the Village Chrese Shop. Their signature grilled cheese with a marmalade-type jam on sourdough bread is a celebration for the palate! . Had a perfectly chilled Sauvignon Blanc.

Unless you want to drive to Madison, this is the best fine cheese shop you'll find.

Best cheese shop in the Milwaukee area. Tightly curated with small producers of real, traditional cheese. You won't get lost in a sea of 100 different flavored garbage cheddars. Only great cheese, with good staff knowledge to help you. Great wine selection as well. Highly recommended

I recently discovered an awesome place to buy cheese: The Village Cheese Shop in Wauwatosa WI. I stopped there on 3-16-20 to shop for cheese and meat to serve at a Riesling wine tasting event I hosted. I was fairly clueless about what to buy. Shop owner, Sabrina, was very generous with her knowledge and time, helping me select four European cheeses and Northern Italian Prosciutto that paired perfectly with my wine choices. My guests raved about the cheeses. My experience was everything I could have hoped for: lots of options and great service. Highly recommended; 6 stars on a scale of 5!

My husband and I had date night tonight and by accident walked by the Village Cheese Shop in Wauwatosa. What a gem!!! Cute, perfect date night spot!! For 2 glasses of wine, a cheese board with 3 cheeses, some jam, little bread, olives, was 40$ and a fair price we believe. Very cute place with nice date night atmosphere. The lady who worked there very friendly. I'd go back!!

I really love this place. It's super cute inside. I've been here several times for lunch and their sandwiches, soup and salad are great. Obviously the cheese is fantastic too. They're very knowledgeable about cheese and wines so don't be afraid to ask questions.

The village tea shop reminds me of my time living in Pairs, you can tell the owner puts a lot of thought into the menu as well as the ambiance. A lovely place to spot if you want to feel as if you’re in a European cafe and if you’re looking for great food, drinks and service. Would highly recommend.

Great little shop with a helpful, knowledgeable owner and a great variety of really excellent cheeses! I didn't spend much time looking over the wine selection, but if it's as well-curated as the cheese, it's definitely worth checking out.

Great selection of unique cheeses from all over and a great wine selection. They have wine and cheese clubs too. It's a cool place to stop by when going to the farmers market!

The virtual classes have been great, getting to learn about and try different cheeses that I would have never tried otherwise. The owner is super knowledgeable and helpful. And they have a great selection of wines to pair with their cheeses.

A very welcome addition to downtown Tosa. I really enjoy their lunch menu and the education I receive from staff any time I want to make a purchase. I've always loved cheese but now am able to better understand why some are just good while others need to stay in my mouth forever.
