CVS Pharmacy

This is a great pharmacy from my experience, I have always had a good time with the customer service, I got my Covid vaccine here and they were very friendly and helpful, when I’m waiting for my medicine to be done I can look through the target to find things I will need during the week.

THe people that worked at this CVS are very professional and friendly. We got in and out with no problem even though we are from another cvs out of town, they filled the prescription fast and were friendlier then the ones back home. Thank you for doing such a great job.

They are always great. They even call to let me know if the price is high and have applied coupons for me or worked with docs to get authorizations for better pricing.

I don't have to wait in line very long. If my doctor calls in a prescription, they quickly have it ready for me.

Currently 5 people back and they don’t acknowledge anyone at the counter they just keep filling and ignoring the customer, this is happening right now.

THE WORST. I am a Medicap customer. Have been for years. There is a good reason for that. CVS Pharmacy has terrible, if not non -existent customer service. I was prescribed Paxlovid today for COVID. Medicap did not stock it but found it at CVS and transferred script to them. I downloaded the app so I could be notified when it was ready. The app said script was at 2 stores. Hickman Rd. AND Plum Dr. BTW - CVS pharmacies don’t answer their phones. I finally had tp press #2 as if I was a provider in order to talk to a human who was of ZERO help because they were closing. At least I found out the medication will be at Plum Dr. tomorrow. Time??? Who knows but it will be close to 24 hours. I hate to say this but I am well over 65 and have asthma. Pretty sure I needed this medicine tonight. My complaint is with 2 locations and has been posted on both. Hickman Rd., Clive and Plum Dr., Urbandale.

We've used this pharmacy for many years now and have had many issues but most recently encountered the rudest staff person, Emily, on several occasions now to the point that I've had to let the pharmacist know. This person should really find another line of work. I've never dealt with anyone before who goes out of their way to NOT help you! Just an incredibly rude and unpleasant person who doesn't want to help in any way! Very disappointing customer care!

Customer service here has been so hit and miss for me, and after my experience today, I will be transferring our prescriptions elsewhere. I needed a bottle stopper for a dosing syringe in my son’s medicine, but because the tech couldn’t take care of it in a matter of seconds, she rushed me out with a medicine cup because “we are closing for lunch now”. Unacceptable, and I let her know that. We’re done.

Very bad experience there today. I am a snowbird and have had prescriptions filled with CVS over the last many years. I am back from Florida and now in Iowa for a while and needed a refill. I was told by the pharmacist that they would call my doctor and get the prescription filled, but when I went to get it it wasn't ready and they had not supposedly heard back from my doctor and then the tech told me that I would have to the the pharmacy in FL contact my doctor. I told her this an important prescription to me, but was not offered a 3 day supply. I called FL and she told me to Sk for 3 days worth and IA could call my doc. So I made another trip to this Iowa Pharmacy. I did get three days worth but not without considerable hassle.

This pharmacy isn’t good. It’s been hit or miss in the past but has seem to hit a new low. The ‘pharmacy manager’ is a smug little fellow who is very unpleasant to deal with and not helpful. He makes you feel like he doesn’t have the time to bother, even though it is his entire job to make sure the pharmacy serves the customer. I’m considering switching permanently.

Rude staff. Had a situation arise and was told I would have to call back today to verify some info for an older neighbor I'm helping out. Called and explained the situation and was treated rudely and was told the information previously provided was incorrect. Zero apologies and didn't even pretend like he was interested helping or even liked his job. At least sound like you have a smile on your face when you provide the bad news.

horrible horrible pharmacy either dont have your meds in stock wait for days to hear back from pharmacy on a must needed refill or they play phone games always insurance doctor office issue never there fault do very little to remedy resolve any issues and medication question now go to new pharmacy for the aame meducations and refills with no isdues or delays Target pharmacy the worsst ever?!?

On hold for 15 minutes. Save some time and go somewhere else.
