Deseret Nursery Perennial Farm

This is such a wonderful nursery. All of the plants are really healthy, there's a massive selection, everything is well suited to Utah, and it's all really reasonably priced -- even moreso when there are sales (advertised on Facebook). Brad is super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and the staff are friendly and helpful as well. This is a great nursery for low-water, some native, and adaptable perennials. I love recommending this nursery to everyone (and do!).

I visited Deseret Nursery for the first time today, and I was able to fill my car with plants from my wish list! Most big box nurseries carry only a few standard varieties; Deseret had some varieties and plants you just don't find everywhere and that do well in Utah's climate.

Wonderful place to get a lot of great plants! The prices were really good and they had great deals on popular water-saving plants. The manager was very kind and helpful to us and gave us good advice. Definitely would recommend this place!!

Super selection of plants most likely to do well in Utah. Staff are very helpful and prices are always reasonable. It can be a little difficult to find the first time, but oh so worthwhile.

A little tricky to find so look for the signs that appear to take you around the building… there’s actually a nursery back there in the middle of all the industrial buildings:)

Very well laid out, prices clearly marked, and plenty of space to walk and learn about the options going through your mind and see in person the stuff from magazine covers of desert garden and xeriscapes you wish could be done for your front yard.

Never wanted to learn gardening so much after visiting this place. Scoping it all out to make some decisions… who knew there were so many choices!

No better place for perennials and succulents. Great variety, hearty plants chosen for the Salt Lake Valley climate. Brad has such a large variety that I am changing planting areas from annuals to perennials. I had no idea there were so many different varieties of sedum.

I love this place for so many reasons. Brad is kind and a great guy and drops philosophical (plant and otherwise) nuggets left and right. There's a massive and seasonally-variable plant selection here. Every time I come here I find something interesting to put in my garden. The pricing is excellent and the plants are high quality. This is a true SLC gem.

Place is well organized and not a ton of people even on a Saturday, prices are great and variety I'd fantastic

Absolute killer deals on hard to find plants. Bought a bunch of bee/butterfly attracting xeriscape plants, all very big, for less sooooo cheap.

This place is a bit out of the way but you won't be disappointed. Best place to find perennials especially those that grow well in UT. Great selections with good prices. Highly recommend!

Great place....but it moved and they are rebuilding. I was looking forward to picking up some plants today. Their old location is abandoned and the new one doesn't open until August according to the sign out front.

I brought in a little clipping of a plant I needed help identifying and they were able to identify it in a snap! They helped me find me find what I was looking for and the prices were great! I’ll be back!

They may not always answer the phone, but this place is amazing. Why buy plants from big box retailers, when you can buy much better plants grown locally for a much better price? This plants are grown specific to Utah's climate, so you will have much better luck growing these varieties than what you can find in retail stores. The variety is great and, oh, and did I mention the great prices?
