Really good Crossroads. Open, air, sunny store. Big selection of clothes. Well organized. Great feel and vibe all around.

Welcoming staff.

Not all Crossroads have welcoming staff whether you're buying or selling. This one does.

Dressing rooms are clean and on the small side. Not sure if they had a larger one to accommodate mobility aids. UPDATE! They do have a room that accomodates folks using mobility aids.

Street parking with meters outfront.

On bus line and close to BART station.

What a great store! I had the pleasure of meeting Nicolina! She was such a doll. I sold quite a few items and even found a vintage schipareli silk scarf. I liked the clothes. Mostly new styles, but some very cool vintage mixed in. They had a nice vintage Nike selection for those tennis shoes lovers. Nia was another buyer who was cute and funny and made for a a fun trip. I will be back for sure. This location will be curating a plus sized section. Check them out. Finally love the app check in . Smooth with not much waiting.

This review is long overdue. I have been selling clothes, shoes, and accessories at this Berkeley store for as long as I can remember. For the last 5 years, Berkeley Crossroads has been a safe haven for me, a place where I can go when I need to pay my bills or find myself in a financial pickle. The women who work here, from the cashiers to the buyers, all the way up to the manager, are absolutely fabulous. The entire staff, including the security guard, are outstanding people. Baha, Madelyn, Rae, Ava, Nicolina, and Erin, are lovely people, inside and out. The times that I have stopped by this store, either to sell or shop, I have always been able to leave with some great pieces. I especially love how unique and one-of-a-kind their pieces are, from the vintage-inspired dresses and coats to the whimsical accessories. Plus, the people who work here all have wonderful personalities, style, and attitudes. I am embarrassed to show my face at this store because I have sold items at this store more times than I can count. And each and every time, these beautiful women have welcomed me with warmth, kindness, understanding, and a smile. This clothing store is Berkeley’s best kept secret. I wish the New York Times could write an article on how outstanding this store is, but I am worried that if this were too happen, that the lines to sell and shop at this store would stretch for blocks away. The Universe continue to bless this store and the beautiful people who work here.

The selection is great and the workers here are very nice. I had to change a selection that I had made for sunglasses and even though I had left the store already they let me change my pick. Definitely a 5 star for service!

I've been coming here for decades...I even used to work for them in the newly-opened (at the time) San Jose store, and at the Fillmore store. This must have been in the 90s! As a shopper, I always leave with something really great, as the staff is trained to be picky about what they will take from sellers. It seems as if sellers complain about the pickiness, but come on, nobody wants your tattered Old Navy or Forever21 garbage. Even if it's new, you won't get very much for it, since they have to resell for a profit, as this is a BUSINESS. Seems to be a disconnect between what people perceive as re-sellable and desirable and 'nice,' and what actually is.
Anyhow, I first started frequenting Crossroads for the environmental and lower cost reasons, and am so happy they have stuck around for so long. I've moved to Europe and miss the stores so much.

I’ve had a really positive experience here! They cam definitely be picky but over the three times I’ve sold here I’ve made some decent money and I’ve also bought some great pieces (including one very nice designer piece) for great prices. They pay much better than second street but accept fewer items, and the prices are much higher. My only issue is the staff can be a bit curt sometimes and the lines can get long. I also find myself waiting a long time to sell here. But if the online system was refined a bit I think it’s a great experience.

Great store. My husband and I found lots of clothes. Surprisingly they had a lot of men stuff which was a huge plus! Great prices and the clothes are very clean. Fitting rooms are opened.

We did not sell clothes but it’s cool how they have that option.

This is the best crossroads in the Bay Area. They have great buyers and the selection in the store is excellent. I’ve been buying and selling here for years and I really appreciate how positive the staff is here, I know their job isn’t easy.

I sold some clothing on July 4th. It was a nice experience and a good way to get away from the fireworks (I live in Antioch). The only downside was forgetting to put my ID in my wallet afterwards. To my pleasant surprise the staff put it away safely and when I came in the following week I was able to sell more stuff and found a cute top in trade. Thank you again, Crossroads for your honesty and excellent customer treatment.

I recently visited Berkeley and on the way out I stopped at Crossroads. It was nice that hand sanitizer was offered at the door and that safety precautions were in effect. I was able to find a couple of great items and was helped by the cashier efficiency. I'm really glad that I came across the shop!

It's a bit more expensive than Ross, but I like this store because I can find more cotton and linen clothes. I'm not sure of the style yet, but I found some good things here, bought a linen collared shirt here.

Seriously the best second hand clothes store in the Bay Area! The clothes look so new and of great quality you’d never know anything was used. Also they give great prices to you on most things you bring in to sell them. All of the Staff are very helpful, kind and very attentive. Thanks guys for being Super Awesome!!

It’s been a while since visiting this Crossroads. I’ll be back again soon, hopefully with friends. Not only was the clothing en pointe but everyone who worked there was kind, considerate and helpful.

Lost my phone while I was there and the cashier, sales associates and manager worked together to help me find it.

I also got to sell a few clothes which took the edge off all the new ones I bought. Definitely a great shopping experience.

Crossroads -More like "NewRoads" cause that's what you'll be making after you leave with your purchases. Absolutely great apparel for your hard earned dollars at discount prices you've been searching for. And did I mention brand named? Just a few minutes into the store I knew I'd be coming back for more. Excellent location, awesome prices, and the staff if exceptionally helpful. Thank you Crossroads for doing it right. 5☆

Super awesome customer service! MUCH BETTER than the Rockridge Crossroads where they barely give you the time of day -- Shattuck staff were friendly, happy to help, and seemed much more chill under pressure at a busy location. I'll be going out of my way from Oakland to go to this location instead. Thanks Shattuck Crossroads Team!

Came two days in a row...second trip was with my daughters; after going to two other shops in the area. We scored big time with AF1s for $16 and some change, along with a Cardi B shirt, all name brands for less than $90. They do have a Chanel lambskin bag for $1800 😇
Some items had tags on them which shows originally prices-- a dress normally for $399 that was for $24. Highly recommended!

I always have good luck selling at this crossroads location and the staff is very friendly! I recommend bringing a lot, checking in on their app ahead of time, and looking over their current buying guide to make your trip worthwhile and to make more money!

Great clothes! Found an amazing faux fur jacket. Unfortunately can’t try anything on there during these covid times, but they do accept returns for 10 days after purchase.

I have one at home in DC but this one had items we don’t have of course so I got a lot of good deals. Great quality clothing and stylish for low prices. And some of the items were half off!

I've never been met with such superior customer service, low prices and great product before. If it seems like I sound like an infomercial, that's only because I've been mesmerized by how incredible this place is and have turned into a consignment-store-shopping-zombie.
