The Greyhound - An Indie Bookstore

Lovely little indie shop. The owners are friendly, a husband and wife team. The wife is an author and has written a book about her whirlwind of a life, which you can purchase there. Great selection of books. It's a small shop but has character and a warm atmosphere. My sister and I really enjoyed browsing here and came away with some good finds. I especially loved their children's section and couldn't resist buying a few for my kids. One of their picks has turned out to be my daughter's favorite picture book!

Very warm environment, very comfortable. Owner is exceptional. My family visits (and buys books) numerous times a year.

Bookstore is regal yet quaint with unique books and eye catching covers. It feels as though Ms Susan hand picked everything in the store. It feels very personal, comforting and welcoming. There is a story behind her and each nook and cranny of that store. I hope you go and listen even if you are just in the background searching for what eases you.

This book store has something for everyone. The owner/author was very welcoming. Traditional books, children’s books, local books. Complement to the ships Main Street. I can’t wait to read her book.

This is a FANTASTIC bookstore with a decent collection of books including some children's and young adult titles and local authors. It's definitely a well curated collection with new best-selling titles and classics!

The space is open and well-lit with art on display (from local artists and for purchase) all around. It's cozy without being claustrophobic.

The owners are both amazing, welcoming people that know their stuff and can help you find something amazing. If you find yourself in Berlin make this a priority to stop by!

Taking a necessary stop to fill up our car on the way back from Virginia landed us in Berlin,MD. Once on Main St. we couldn’t help but park and explore. It’s an adorable little town and upon walking on the Main Street led us into The Greyhound where we were warmly greeted by Susan. What a sweetheart! Immediately asking how she could help us and telling us the history on how the bookstore came to be. She tended to my 10 and 7yr olds reading needs,knowing exactly what they would love they followed her back into the kids cove. Then telling us about her own publishing accomplishment,Death is my Life. It was such an incredible read,once I started it I couldn’t put it down! So not only is Susan’s bookstore a must when you’re in Berlin but so is her book!

An amazing little indie bookstore in this fun town. The owner was very inviting, told us interesting stories and also gave us time to browse . It has a great regional and local author section. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely, very quaint in the best way. The ship has a wonderful energy to it and the owners are incredibly sweet. I will surely be returning.

If I ever owned a bookstore it would be just like this one. Small and cozy, nice music in the background and a good assortment of local and mainstream authors. I stop by every time I’m in Berlin.

Great Indie Book store, large variety of book. Large selection of local authors. Book signings most Saturdays. Coffee is available out the back door at the Bakery next door. Something for everyone.
