The French Press

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to downtown Ottawa. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to try them out. The decor is so warm and cozy, and the service was top of the line. Now for the food.....it is out of this world delicious 😋.....I enjoyed a regular coffee, Ratatouille Crepe with 2 eggs added, their special Raspberry Lemon Crepe and then took home a mini Spiced Apple Cake with the best cream cheese whipped cream on top. I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch!

My wife and I really liked this place. They had great French press and crepes. We also tried the quiche and really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area

Very cozy cafe that just opened on 10/10/23 in downtown Ottawa. Nice vibe with the furniture selection, decor, and soft music in the background. Serving crapes, soups, salads, baked goods, coffees, and teas. We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed friendly service and delicious food! Good luck with the business!

Adorable little bistro! Everything Ive tried so far has been amazing. From the Salmon Niçoise salad, to a savory crepe such as the Croque Madame, or a simply sweet Brown Sugar Crepe.

Great atmosphere and space. Bright with a great vibe. We ordered crepes and a pot of the french press, both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful spot for brunch with the gals! Atmosphere is picture perfect and the food is SO GOOD. My friend and I could have kept chatting and drinking coffee until they closed. Love to see places like this stay in business! Will definitely be back.

It's a great little café. The french press coffee and the breakfast crepes were delicious... I highly recommend it !!!

Delicious, had the quiche with a light and simple garden salad, not overly dressed and the monte cristo crepes. Really ham and turkey, not lunch meat style slices. We will be back.

My husband and I love this place. The croque madame we each got was delicious and the server was great. However, with a name like French Press, we expected there to be more drink selections. Also, the coffee left us wanting something better. The atmosphere was cute but there were too many pillows on the long bench and it felt awkward.

Quaint clean friendly corner cafe with unique and tasty menu options. Breakfast crepe, French Press coffee and yogurt were outstanding. A must visit and repeat.

My husband had Monte Cristo crepe and I had lemon raspberry crepe. Delicious! I think I will try quiche next time!

You won't be sorry when you eat at this establishment it is cute as a button . You can't beat the prices for the quality. I was so impressed, it is so cute and Charming.
