Dogwood Family Campground

I stayed at Dogwood Family Campground for a total of 6 months. During my stay, it was clean, quiet and peaceful. Owners Shaun and Lisa are wonderful and very accommodating. When the weather was getting down to freezing, they came to my camper and fixed my water hose for me so my water did not freeze. All tenants must have a background check done prior to moving in which made me feel very safe. As a travel nurse, I will be recommending this campground to any travelers coming to this area. Dogwood Family Campground is clean, safe and affordable!

If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet along with the best customer service then this is your place. From start to finish the courtesy and professionalism bestowed upon us was superior. I can't wait to see how this brand new RV community expands. It's clean, spacious and lots are level. A must place to put on your camping bucket list. I wanted to post pics of night time but a cloud covering hindered that from happening.

We stayed at Dogwood family campground while in the area working for 6 mos. We could not have asked for a better place to be. The owners are some of the friendliest, hard working people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. While the summer days did get hot, most afternoons were very pleasant due to the almost constant breeze. You are centrally located and only a short drive to some of the best beaches and other wonderful attractions the area has to offer. We have 2 small dogs and there was plenty of space to walk and keep them entertained. Lisa and Shawn (owners) make you feel like family and treat your fur babies the same. The entire grounds were always kept clean and well groomed. I hope to return to the area for work in the future and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, family/pet friendly place to relax and enjoy nature for a few days or a few months this is it!!! Thanks for everything and we will be back if not for work, pleasure!!

Lisa and Shawn are awesome! Dogwood Family Campground is a fantastic place to stay. We stayed for three months and will be back in the spring.

Dogwood Family Campground is close to everything without being on top of it all! Kid friendly, pet friendly, and very clean! All of the lots are level making for an easy setup! This is nice because you can get to enjoying your time away from home quickly! The owners, Lisa & Shawn are very hands on with this campground making sure that everyone is comfortable and feels at home while staying here! We originally booked 3 nights and added an additional night because we weren’t quite ready for our stay to end! This place is truly a hidden gem and we will definitely be back!!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience our first camping trip with our first camper than at DogWood Family Campground. Check in process is easy whether it’s in person or on their website . Wonderful hosts that are welcoming and ask if you need anything from them. Hookups are located perfectly so it’s easy to reach the camper . The campground was very clean , organized, and easy to navigate. Overall , our experience was fantastic. Can’t wait to go camping here again !

It's kinda laid back if your looking quiet to listen to nature not far from beaches restaurants Walmart. Carteret County speedway just down hwy 24 15 min come have lots of fun meet good people And don't forget Sundays If your close to God he can be felt at a lot of local churches so go give thanks that we can enjoy all we have

This campground is coming along nicely. The location is going to offer an amazing place to stay for so many people coming to the area for all the attractions for many years to come. . Easy drive in and out. Spacious sites! The owners are working hard
