The HydroPump Pokeshop

I go in there to buy pokémon a lot! They sell a variety of trading cards as well as graded slabs and mystery packs. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have an individual space for playing different trading card games!

I have visited The Hydropump about 30 times now, and EVERY single time, I am greeted by the staff, I feel welcomed, and sometimes they even work out deals with me. I will continue to visit and spend my hard earned dollars there because whether I'm spending nothing or some, they make the time to converse with customers. That goes far with me. I feel like the new Anime Gaming staff was an excellent addition to the Hydro Pump roster. Its a great place, go and visit the place.

I love coming to their store. they are not only continuously having the cards I want and make great deals. But also have an amazing tournament area to play against friends.

Bear's Lair is the best game store in New Bern! There is a selection of table top games, card games, role playing games, and accessories to choose from. They host tournaments, special events, and casual gaming. Bear's Lair is also a great place to socialize and meet new friends.

Great place! Staff is friendly and helpful, they all do their jobs really well and seem to really love their job and all have a great passion for the games.

I have become a constant regular for the past two months and will continue to support them.

Wonderful community willing to help you learn to play the games. They are also very supportive and have a wonderful group of people running the shops. I love going to hang out!

The workers are great people and easy to talk to. A great environment to play cards in, especially for your first time in group settings. Definitely recommend these guys for you.

The most recent time of being here, the service was amazing and the warm welcome from all of the staff makes being there, that much better. They are informative on whatever questions i may have and even if they aren’t on a certain topic, they’ll find the answer right then. The Stores reputation has certainly been high in my books since coming here 8 months ago.

This store is great, the staff here are amazing and their product selection was also very good with a variety of different TCGs. If you’re a local or someone who is passing by, make sure to stop in and check the store out. You won’t regret it!

Just went to the store today with the wife and kid and was amazed to see so many people playing games and having a good time. Was immediately welcomed to the store and greeted by one of the staff member. Even with the Pokémon TCG shortage they had plenty to offer and Not over priced huge supporter of small businesses. Awesome to see them expanding, will be back soon for sure! 👍

This was the first ever card store I had been to since my move down from Pennsylvania. I cannot express enough how welcoming the owner is and how friendly everyone was towards me. I had never drafted before but was convinced to do so and had one of the best Magic experiences of my life.

The workers are helpful and even reccomend cards and materials. and the store itself is a perfect place to play tabletop games and card games. Their prices are the best in the area. An overall great store.

Stopped in here while visiting family in Havelock and was very happy. Found some new board games (including one that we could play with young niece and nephew that they LOVED, called Dixit). Employees were very friendly, informative, and the prices were great.

Awesome employees that are always looking to make everyone happy! Great customer service! Adams the man!! Great Pokémon and MTG selection! They take Pokémon TCG bulk for new sealed products witch is a awesome option if you crack a lot of packs. Don’t forget to check out the table top board games they have a big selection! The shop looks well kept with lots of playing space. It’s definitely worth stopping by to check it out.

5 star fully deserved. Committed player base and excellent staff who makes you feel like family. If you want to play MTG, come here especially for Friday night magic and set releases. I've since moved and really wish that we had a shop like this. When the hurricane hit and the shop was flooded I saw posts on facebook about the owner giving help to people in need and hosting magic at players houses so everyone could get their fix. Truly a wonderful place, DO NOT hesitate to start playing MTG again with this shop!

Love this store. Just got into pokemon and i love how they had so many options. Shoutout to Mikey for being a great dude and giving out good advice on Pokemon. Actually got this just yesterday wasn’t disappointed of the many options they have regarding booster boxes and single packs. and for a good price as well!

We adore this place, the people are nice and easy to get along with, they're hilarious.

The staff are delightful, and the competitions are great to be a part of!
