My experience with Confident Driver Driving School was truly exceptional. From start to finish, everything was professional. I passed my road test at the Red Hook Brooklyn site on the first attempt. Big thanks to my instructors, Morris and Jose, who were patient, and knowledgeable, and made me feel at ease behind the wheel. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a top-quality driving school experience.

As the name suggested, this driving school really helped me become a confident driver. I failed the road test twice with my previous driving school and gradually lost confidence. Then I switched to this school and passed the test at once. My instructor Mr. Omari is encouraging, professional and good at explaining things to me. Every lesson is very enjoyable yet still informative and beneficial. The school manager Morris is also very kind and helpful. Before the test he sent me long, detailed instructions and tips for the road test. They tried their best to help their students pass the test and learn to be a qualified driver. I really recommend this school.

I had failed my drivers test two times when I was in college and was afraid to drive again. I was also traumatized because I had a horrible instructor who used to yell at me and made me feel very uncomfortable and nervous. Fast forward 10 years later, I was ready to learn again. I was determined to pass and researched for the best driving school. I saw that Confident driver driving school popped up and it had 5 star reviews - the highest reviews I’ve seen compared to other schools. I also liked how easy and streamlined their website was. You book all the appointments online which is convenient. When I met the instructor, Morris, he put me at ease immediately. He was super calm and patient. He didn’t just teach me how to drive, he gave me tips on what to expect on the driver’s test. Morris truly really wants the student to succeed. And yes.. I passed! Now I drive everyday and am definitely a “confident driver” I recommend this school to everyone!!

Confident Driving School was fantastic and patient. The instructor listened to all my concerns and allowed me to practice extra in any areas that I felt I needed more practice in. We had great conversations, super easy to talk to, and made me feel very comfortable. Professionalism was also a plus! Very well communicated and on time waiting in front even when I arrived 5 minutes early. Would definitely recommend!

The name says for itself! They really do make you Confident! Apart from the fact that I passed the road test in Red Hook from the first attempt thanks to my great instructors: Jose and Morris, i also really enjoyed learning from them driving in the city and feeling so much better understanding the traffic! Truly enjoyed the lessons and getting to know the instructors! I had the refresher lesson with Morris 2 weeks ago. It has been more than 10 years since I drove so I was a bit nervous about the lesson. Morris was calm and relaxed, went over all the rules of getting behind the wheel, slowly eased me into driving inner city to highway. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Morris is an excellent driving instructor, this is the best driving school in NYC! I was very nervous to learn to drive as an adult, and Morris was super patient with me. I always felt very comfortable, and he not only taught me how to drive in a way that made sense to me, he made sure I was confident and competent. I had driving experience but hadn't driven in many years. I took refresh classes. I liked how easy it was to schedule the classes. Morris was an excellent instructor, tailoring the class to my actual needs. Not imposing any parking method but instead focusing on what I need to improve/correct. He gave plenty of tips and good insights on the test. He's info was accurate. He was punctual and serious. I really recommend his services to anyone looking for driving lessons.

They are a certified provider of the mandatory lecture, their online booking system works well so you can schedule your lessons efficiently and flexibly, they pick you up from the convenient locations at the beginning of each lessons in a good clean car, can book your road test for you, provide you a car for the road test, pick you up from your usual lesson spot to take you to your test location, and back.

I highly recommend this school, and have been recommending it to all my friends!

I suggest starting your lessons in winter because they are so popular and lessons can get fully booked in spring (there will be weeks-long wait) and summer (a few months-long wait).

I've taken lessons with both Omari and Morris. I've always had a great experience with both instructors. They're punctual and easy to schedule. Their feedback is always on point and they're good at explaining instructions. I've lived in the city my whole life and got my license for a job that requires occasional trips out of state. I like to take highway lessons before work trips to be more confident on the road, refresh my skills, and, of course, stay safe. I highly recommend this school to practice driving in the city and on the highways.

I had a great experience. Both Omari and Morris were excellent in helping me build my confidence as a new driver. They were extremely dependable and patient. Didn't know how to drive at all and was confidently driving after 3, 4 lessons with Morris. Morris is an excellent instructor. He explains things in a way so easy to understand and then apply to your driving. 10/10 experience, would recommend to anyone learning how to drive for the first time!!!!!!

For any first time drivers out there I can't recommend this driving school enough. The instructors Morris and Omari are great teachers who truly prepare you for the driving test. I was really nervous behind the wheel but they never made me feel bad about that. If you're looking for a place to learn how to drive you have to pick confident driving school.
