Nederlander Theatre

The Who's Tommy is one of the best shows on Broadway. From the moment it starts, you need to buckle up, because you are going to go on an amazing journey filled with energy and amazement. The show is a cohesive and exciting revival that brings together the earworm music of The Who combined with some of the most stunning visuals available on The Great White Way today. The vocals are award worthy, as is the choreography. This show requires true triple threats, and I am so impressed with all that ensemble does in a very tight two hours or so. They definitely earn the rousing applause at the end of the show. In fact, the audience was on its feet during the entire finale, which gave me goosebumps. You will leave wanting to dance while singing the music. The leads are all very strong, as are the young children in the show...wow! It is one not to be missed.

Like all historic Broadway theaters, it is intimate, and nearly every seat is a good view. Bonus that bathrooms are in the mezzanine where we happened to sit this time around. It felt a little more crowded when compared to other theaters but is the theater made most famous by Rent which ran there for more than 10 years. We took in Shucked for this visit many years later.

The theater is clean, comfortable, and though busy (sold out), bathroom access during intermission was quick and efficient.

Great experience seeing Billy Crystal's "Mr. Saturday Night". Sorry, I'm a little late to post this, but didn't want to skip it. We had a great evening out, and was a lovely little theatre. The show was fantastic, but a little pricey!

Saw "Shucked" there - and while it was alternately filled with puns, both corn-related and otherwise - the theatre was a great venue and I would definitely go there again for another show (if I'm in town).

Great and accessible theatre. Go East and you can hangout at Bryant park while waiting for the show to begin. I had orchestra seats and it was easy to get to my seats!

Play that was being performed was Shucked, funny romantic comedy. As for the Theater it sef, great place very comfortable and the staff went out of there way for the handicap patrons

We saw Shucked at this theater tonight. The show was hilarious. The theater was nice. The seats were comfortable and they did a great job with the set on stage. They opened up a bunch of side doors after the show ended. It was quick and easy for everyone to exit the theater.

Loved THE WHO'S TOMMY. Great music. Ambitious dancing. Rockstar cast. Spectacular projections/lighting. This musical is truly electric....a major adrenaline rush. Engaging story about a young person who experiences a trauma and ultimately rises above and overcomes and inspires others. Can't wait to see it again!!

The Who's Tommy is ASTONISHING! Have already seen it twice and was blown away, inspired, and entertained. Going to see it again this week LOL. The most exciting show on Broadway—get tickets while you still can!

Beautiful theatre. It is on the smaller and tighter side so be mindful of that. Sat in the mezzanine and it was perfect! Such a great view. Based on how seats are angled and leveled, I can't see having a bad seat anywhere.
Staff is very efficient and great demeanor. They made sure to give everyone proper directions to keep the lines moving. Super helpful is you asked any questions.
My only complaint about this theatre is there is really limited bathroom for a full show. However, the bathrooms are very clean.

Really nice atmosphere in Pershing Center before entering Nederlander Theater and I loved the intimate feel of the theater itself. Great acoustics and we sat close enough we could see the actor’s expressions. I loved it!

Went to see the Shucked the musical — never have I laughed so hard in a theatre. Cast was amazing (such talent and amazing vocals), the puns were hysterical, and yes the theatre was great too.

I went again too see Shucked at this theatre this time I sat in the Mezzanine section. Last row Mezzanine has more leg space for seating. All the seats have a great view. Balcony as well. I really enjoyed this Broadway play. It's funny. Great singing. Live Orchestra.
Very nice theatre. Close to subway and bus. No street parking. Parking lots in area. I sat left Orchestra right row H seat 18 great seat view. Went to see Weds matinee performance of Shucked. This is a new musical comedy for adults. Great performance, great orchestra and it's really funny. I enjoyed myself.

Theater is comfortable. Mezzanine seats feel so close. Recently saw Shucked and loved it. They even passed out corn on the cob to those in line!

What a great theatre! Sitting is cozy but views are excellent

The Nederlander Theater is a major Broadway theater located in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan.

It is the southernmost Broadway theater in the Theater District and has hosted several successful Broadway shows, such as Inherit the Wind & Rent.

In December of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself to attend A Christmas Carol to celebrate the Holiday Season & our “Happy Engagement Anniversary”

Both my wife and I found A Christmas Carol highly entertaining and we were deeply mesmerized by the stellar performance of the lead performer, Jefferson Mays, who manages to play quite seamlessly over 50 characters during the show.

The theater’s staff were very welcoming and pleasant and our near front row seats were very comfortable and provided us with amazing views of the show.

Both my wife and I give a huge two thumbs up to A Christmas Carol & the Nederlander Theater!!!

The theater is ok. The seats are not awful. Did not use the restroom, so I have no idea if they are nice or accessible. There was a person in the audience in a wheelchair who I saw leaving the theater after the show, so I would hope they have at least one wheelchair space. The show, Shucked, though!!!!!!! What can I say? It kept me laughing. The puns were witty and creative. The score was catchy and fun. The cast!!!!! Oh my. What a cast. I was there on my birthday, and it was the first show after the Tony Awards. I am pretty sure that Alex Newell's standing ovation after their first song lasted 3 minutes. The audience was really 👌. The cast was 🔥. The set was minimal and very effective. The lighting was really effective as well. I want to see it again!

Saw my second show at the Nederlander.... The first was "Rent" in 1996, and now "Shucked". Great theatre and experience.
