Mendoza's Colombian Cafe

Food was absolutely PERFECT! Everything was hot and delicious. No cold/Luke warm food. The service was kind and very sweet. The prices were good too! Absolutely a must try in Brick for authentic Columbian food for sure!

Authentic Colombian Food and atmosphere! Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the beans, they are amazing! And all bakery and breakfast options. This place really felt like I was visiting Colombia.

Mendoza’s is a must try! The space is small and cozy, and the smell of the grill welcomes you the minute you walk in. Great service, food, and location. It was our first time here, so we decided to try and share a few different items. Everything was seasoned so well, came out hot, and the food was so fresh. The portions were generous and the prices were affordable. Can’t wait to come back!

Went to Mendozas on a whime as I was surprised to find a Colombian restaurant so far south at the Jersey Shore. I wasn't expecting too much from it but was pleasantly surprised as it rivals anything up North Jersey. The Tamales Tolimenes were a gem as I can only get those from relatives...never find them in restaurants. The short Rib Soup was awesome and only ordered it because I wasn't sure how the Tamales were going to turn out. This is thr reason I went home full and had to get the rest to go. I'll be back with more family and friends for sure.

Wow! Decided to try the cafe for breakfast since we were in the area. Have thought about coming here over the past few months, but time always prevented a visit.
With breakfast in mind, a quick look at the menu leaves you wanting to try everything! I went for the chicironn (pork rind), eggs, rice and beans, and white corncake. First and foremost, the rice and beans have been the best I've ever had. I get different nationalities prepare them their own way, but Mendoza's beats all in my opinion. The corncake with cheese filling was perfectly baked, soft, and full of flavor. The pork rind was a long strip, cooked to a delicious crunch while keeping the meat tender and the fat juicy. Unless you're a big eater, expect to bring a meal's worth of food home to enjoy again.
When you order your coffee, know that when ordering with milk, you will get this creamy, deliciously sweet blend with a froth of foam floating on top.
At the front counter, there is a small display case filled with large flavors. Empanadas, cheese buns, and many different kinds of fried treats.
We will return for dinner one night, im sure it will be just as good as breakfast was!

The food is absolutely AMAZING !!!! We recently moved to the area and normally travel to Elizabeth to get authentic Colombian food but not any more. We ordered for pick up 3 times and the food has been perfect each time, pricing is affordable and the service is also superb!!! We will be back.

Great food. Friendly service. We decided to try it on a whim and have been back already within a week. Large portions and fair pricing. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went here after I kept seeing their ads on Instagram and it was incredible.

We each had a calentado, but he got the chorizo. We both loved it and had leftovers. We tried the empanadas which were delicious too. We also got the Sancocho de costilla to go. It was amazing.

The service was great and their tres leches cake was perfect.

The food was soo good. The empanadas were very crispy and the flavorful, the sauce it comes with was nothing like I’ve ever had before spicy and zesty. And the stuffed chicken arepas were my favorite!! The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Comfort food

Very good option! We tried arepas de queso, arepas rellenas with carne deshilachada and queso, and desserts such as tiramisú and tres leches, in all cases, tasty and generous portions. Service was gentile and fast, the music not so loud but entertaining. Other pros: Good location, and plenty of space to park your car. Recommended 💯👌

Everything is fresh and delicious. Nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Will be back soon.

Waited 25 minutes to pickup someone's Doordash order. Why make the order when a dasher gets here instead of before?

Update: I went here today and my order was ready right away and hot. Thank you for fixing this issue! 5 stars!

First time ordering food this past weekend, everything was delicious

I just love everything in this place. The food, the service and the atmosphere. A must try Colombian place.

Authentic Colombian restaurant, serving all the comfort food from the native country in South America. From breakfast to dinner and everything in-between, there is no other place in Brick NJ. The staff and owners welcome you like family and treat you like royalty. There is also something new going on to entertain you while you eat here guaranteed.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. It's consistently delicious. The staff is incredibly kind. I cannot get enough of the food at Mendoza's. It is always packed inside when I have gone in person and everyone's always happy as they eat their meal. My favorite things on the menu are the steak with grilled onions and the short ribs. And they have the best rice and beans I've ever had in my life. And they give you all these delicious sauces with everything. So good! I've never had better flan. Also, I enjoy trying all the sodas from Colombia. I hope this place stays in business forever.

The food was delicious. We've gotten empanadas for take out before but we ate in this time. The servings are enormous! And the beans are to die for. A side of beans comes in a small silver serving dish and is more than enough to share. Although you might not want to. Will definitely be a regular stop.
