Howland Post Office

The staff at this location are very professional and the nicest post office workers I have ever dealt with. I will always go to the Howland Post Office whenever I need to buy stamps or mail a special letter/package! Love these ladies!

The staff was very pleasant and very efficient. This is by far one of the best Post Office experiences I've had.

I love this PO. Always have had a positive experience and I have no idea how packages make it to Hawai'i in 3 days.

Small and friendly

This isn’t a “real” post office it’s contracted. It’s fine if you go on the day Sir Cranksalot isn’t working. Can tell this is the first time she’s ever been given any kind of power. Makes you wait to ensure the prepaid and labeled packages say USPS. Won’t let you just drop off. Like every other usps location. I should be getting paid for doing 1/2 the work.

One of the worst post offices ever. The ladies at this location need to be retrained in customer service. They were super rude when needed help to ship a package, ON GOOD FRIDAY, of all days to be rude. Would never recommend this location. Vienna and fowler are super friendly and will actually help you tape up and sticker your package.

This isn’t a true post office. If you need anything more than buying stamps, save yourself a lot of headache and travel to a different location. They do not mail anything that has a barcode, and expect you to leave it on a cart that is near the door. The staff is very rude and dismissive. They sent me recently to a different location to find a package the HOWLAND OFFICE lost and when I explained the Howland post office sent me there, they said “oh yeah we get multiple problems sent to us from them”. If you care about what you are mailing, go elsewhere. I’ve never had a pleasant experience.

The heavy set lady at the desk is extremely rude every time I have came to this post office over the last several years. I didn’t think someone at the post office could have a “better than thou” attitude, until I met this woman. If you have nothing better to do than belittle people who have questions about different postage, maybe you shouldn’t work at the post office.

Very mean, I live in Howland but I drive to Vienna post office so I don't have to deal with these inconsiderate people. They make you leave your mail in the hallway if its prepaid for anyone to take.

Very rude. I walked into the post office 10 minutes prior to closing and a staff member started complaining that the doors needed locked. I was appalled and walked out. Very unprofessional.

When I call I never get an answer!
