Scenna's Family Restaurant

I was in the mood for a proper comfort food breakfast. So I went on down to Scenna’s Family Restaurant in Niles, Ohio. This is the quintessential cozy Ohio restaurant for sure. I loved my waitresses, she had a southern Ohio accent for sure & was just the sweetest. My seating options were tables, booths or at the counter, I chose a table. I ordered “The Mess” a big omelet with everything in it. I also order 1 buttermilk pancake & toast. I love real buttermilk pancakes, my waitress said I wouldn’t be disappointed, I was not. The pancake was awesome, such a nice size & unbelievable tasty. The Omelet was huge, I couldn’t finish it, I’ll finish it up tomorrow. I did take advantage of the bottomless cup of coffee, my waitress was on point every time it got a little low. I really enjoyed my morning here, the atmosphere was just a down home feel. You really have to have a meal here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The kind of old-style restaurant we all like. Friendly staff that makes sure you're okay. Food is homemade. They even wrap up your leftovers, my luncheon came with bread and my waitress even gave me extra in the bag. Go here, you'll thank me.

Omg. The best BBQ ribs ever. They literally fall off the bone. Not overbearing on taste either. They are fantastic. Quite frankly I'd say the best in Trumbull county. Possibly mahoning county as well.

Absolutely amazing service and food. I highly recommend the famous mess.

The wedding soup is my favorite. We love coming here for the delicious meals.

Place was great said they would have a forty minute wait but had my.food.ready for takeout in 15 minutes and.the fish dinners were awesome.

Had liver & onions. Cooked perfectly. 😋. Been to other restaurants an sad to say, my Shoe would have tasted better. Kudos to the cook. Good job, thank you. I'll be back for sure. 😉😁

Great place to eat awesome food and most of all amazing service!

Although the decor leaves something to be desired, the food was fabulous. The roast beef was an enormous portion, and the pork chops were delicious. They could use a better selection in side dishes, but other than that, we would highly recommend this for a good home cooked meal!

Nice server, good coffee, cup stayed full. Great pancakes. Tasted like they were starter dough. Will be back.

Awesome food portions,and prices are very reasonable for what you get. Waitress was very polite and had a very good personality. I over heard someone say Lee. She was really nice to us.

This diner reminds me of a small version of a truck stop. The regulars and the staff are all so friendly and funny. My breakfast was delicious! Breakfast served the way you want and they seem to have everything you want. Awesome truckstop-like food at reasonable prices. Definitely will be returning. My compliments to the chef, the staff, and the owners, for a clean, cozy, environment, with beaming smiles, and agreat sense of humor!!!
