I can't believe the HUGE improvement of this post office now that they have new staff. The office is clean, the staff are so friendly and helpful. While I used to avoid this place, it's my go-to post office now. Highly recommend!

I called this post office to find out if our carrier had come to our business yet today (I didn't know if we just didn't get mail or if she hadn't dropped it off yet) and the man that answered was SO helpful! He reached out to our carrier and came back to me with a prompt answer that she'd be at our business in about 30 minutes. Exceptional customer service and gave me such peace of mind since I've been waiting on the mail in order to move forward with a work task. Thank you!

Also, I typically avoid this office because the one older gentleman that usually works there tends to be rude and obviously doesn't enjoy his job or people. BUT, this one interaction caused me to give a 5-star review. I wish I caught the name of the employee I spoke with on the phone!

Had a great experience with a cheerful, knowledgeable clerk who was efficient.

I went into this location & there was only one employee. She did an amazing job at being calm and patient despite having a long line. She apologized for the wait multiple times and thanked everyone for their patience. She was outstanding and very professional. Keep up the good service 👏

I surprisingly had a great experience here today. I usually avoid this post office because, like many others, I've had awful experiences with grumpy Alton in the past. He was there today, but luckily I didn't need to interact with him. I was served by a friendly worker named David. I was there around noon, and there was no line whatsoever. I was on the hunt for large quantities of the wedding bouquet stamps, which 3 other post offices I stopped at didn't have. But I was able to get 6 sheets of 20 at New Brighton with no problem. So it seems that this branch has more stamp varieties available, and in larger quantities than some other post office locations in the area.

I have been coming to the New Brighton, MN USPS branch for several years and want to say that I have seen a positive change this year in the service desk clerk that everyone has clearly had negative experiences with, Alton. I believe this change may be a result of the customer complaints received and that he has taken the reviews and hopefully management reprimands to heart and decided to change his tune towards how he treats customers. Reviews are powerful tools for consumers as they can sway us to where we decide to do our business, who we buy from, and in this case, help make someone realize they need to change how they treat others. I give Alton credit for being able to take negative reviews to heart and make changes accordingly to improve his customers future experiences with him.

Listen you people who complain about the old guy that works there and this post office are blathering Minnesota nice jerks. I went there the other day. He processed 4 people in the time it took the other clerk to process one. I have gone there multiple times and never had a problem and the line moved fast. Guy is strait and to the point. You want a friend, go buy a cat or dog, that is not what the US postal services mission statement is.
Piss off. It is people like you in Minnesota, that are the reason Wisconsin is going to invade and take over the state.

I have always found the folks at this post office to be professional and competent. They may not come across as being effusive but they are never rude as some of the other reviewers seem to think and they always give you useful advice and information. My post office of choice in this side of town.

Convenient location and has several blue boxes and well as a big parcel drop off inside with a self serve station. Perfect for sending several packages!

This Post Office is great. The gentleman at the counter is very personable. He has helped me several times and he's fabulous.

The carriers from this station are the best and they all work their butts off! Never been unhappy with a carrier I've had. Always polite and helpful.

Those window clerks are knowledgeable and smart people they know what they are talkingabout! ! I would go there again instead of paying more at ups!

Lovely staff were very helpful for a guy sending priority mail for the first time and totally lost.
