L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Stopped in to grab a chicken katsu sando to go. I was surprised by the very friendly service from the gentleman at the counter, as well as the hot, fresh, and tasty sandwich I got after only 5 mins of waiting. This location is far better than some of the others I have been to in the past few years. If I could eat this kind of food more often, I’d be a more frequent customer. lol!

L&L is one of our favorite places to eat. We’ve eaten at other L & L locations frequently and have never had an experience that isn’t 💯. Full of Aloha. Service is warm, loving and kind.

Our experience tonight, on just their second day of operation, was no exception. Great food! Awesome service! Food was fresh and tasty! I was a bit hesitant as we had to grab our order To-Go (I rarely do takeout anywhere) and it was still so tasty!!

Portion sizes and pricing spot on! Large menu with multiple options to accommodate the pickiest of eaters. Welcome to Boulder, L & L 🤙 We are stoked to have L & L as our new neighbor in Boulder! 100/10 will eat again, frequently…going to need to step up my workout routines to support my plate lunch habit!

Delish! Reminds me of getting Hawaiian in Hawaii or California. The meat is well seasoned. They serve generous portions.

This store has about 3 smaller tables and 2 2 bigger tables. The wait for the food was pretty short!

It's really good food. Not only is it really good, it's great portions too. It can be a bit expensive if you're with a lot of people, but it's still reasonable. The only gripe I'd have is with the actual restaurant space; it's kind of small and has only like 5 tables. It's more designed for take out. It is really good food though, and every employee is super nice. Would recommend.

This L&L hits the mark. Flavors are on point, staff are friendly and efficient, the whole place is clean.

This was my first, not last, time at this location. The spam musubi was grilled with a nice little crisp on it. The Loco Moco was delicious - a nice whopping, 2 patty, 2 egg, rice + mac portion for $13.

Worth noting that space in the dining room is somewhat limited, but hey, Whole Foods is 4 doors down, make that Prime membership work for you.

Extremely excited this location has opened in boulder!! There is no Hawaiian BBQ here, so thrilled to have this option here.

Very tasty! Good portion with very reasonable price. Some personal suggestions: please put musubi in a container box(I usually order take out and when I get home, the paper bags are torn from the sauce and Musubi are pressured by other container boxes.) I hope there is a tip option for online order, if possible. I should bring cash for tips when I pick up my order. Besides these 2 things, all my family love your food. Thanks for such a great food!

I am thrilled to discover a Hawaiian restaurant in Boulder. It's wonderful to have a place that offers both cultural experiences and delicious food. I've previously visited the L&L in Aurora, but having one in Boulder that is more serene and closer to me is truly convenient. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their signature dishes, including the mouthwatering loco moco and the flavorful Portuguese musubi. The combination of the rich flavors and cultural authenticity made the dining experience truly memorable. I sincerely hope that this restaurant remains open because it will undoubtedly become a go-to spot for me.

I think this place just opened up. It’s nice and clean inside. The prices are just right, and you get so much food. I got the chicken katsu and spam musubi, and it was fantastic. I’m glad it’s just a short walk! Thank you L&L 😁

Each time I visit, I'm always been impressed by the friendly staff and clean environment. Service is quick, food is plentiful, delicious- and always, always! cures my craving for Hawaiian cuisine. Mahalo.

I don’t often leave reviews but this place was so worth it ! It was reasonably priced , filling and delicious and the staff are so kind . If you are craving some Hawaiian food check this place out . You will not regret it .

Food is fresher and better than the l&l’s around Kane’ohe when we lived there. If I had to nitpick the manapua was a little disappointing but that’s still better than no manapua at all.

Yeah, we had to wait a minute for our order. It’s worth it for fresh food.

Came here by chance, I work at a local jeweler and our mail accidentally got sent here. The boss called us to let us know so I went to pick it up and to also try some of the food. The cashier was very helpful in suggestions, I got Chicken Katsu and the ribs with macaroni and a spam handroll thing. Five stars for the good food and for our mail being safely delivered to us thanks to the staff here!

Don’t be deceived by the very basic setup of this hidden gem. The meat is so good! I recommend the BBQ spare ribs to all. The rice is nice and sticky. They can’t cater to celiac due to cross contamination, but food sensitivities can be catered to. Great portions for under $20 - in Boulder! Cooked on demand - so nice and fresh. Mellow, relaxed atmosphere. My only suggestions are to season the veggies and add some salt to the white rice.

First time in tried the chicken katsu plate . About $14 but delicious and huge portion. I go to Maui to visit my family. Same taste as there.

I’m obsessed!!!! I never go out to eat because Boulder food is so expensive but this place is AFFORDABLE. Great portions, delicious authentic Hawaiian food, and the best (and only) musubi I’ve ever had in CO. So happy to have L & L here! I went to college in Hawaii so I’ve been missing this food so much!
