Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh

Three times now I've seen employees here joyfully going the extra mile to assist older adults with their purchases. Very pleased every time I stop here. Their people are excellent and the manager seems to do a great job running the store.

Stopped in tonight during the rain. One of the team members held the door for my son and I. My son picked out a donut. We went to the register to pay and Brenda told us to just take the donut. It was a small gesture but a great act of kindness. I was having a bad day and this gesture really made my day. Thanks so much to the staff.

I have been stopping early in the morning on my way to work. The kitchen will make me a fresh ham, cheese and jalapeno omelet and it is perfect. Even better than what I make for myself at home. I appreciate the friendliness and cheerfulness of the staff for as early in the morning as I visit.

Is it bad that I just go here for the sushi🥴🤣 they have a huge array of snacks and they're all delish! Obviously sushi is my fav however they have a mean fresh baked chocolate chip cookie lol. Oh yea and they have many different pumps for gas so I've never seen a line here. The clerks are cordial and quick.

Aside from being a part of the hyvee corporation itself I prefer to go here for fuel and food while I'm out and about. Real burgers with real ingredients, not to mention quick and easy. Sometimes the warmers can be set too hot and the buns from the burgers can get a little over cooked but that happens, with this location I havent had it happen often. Only one time with a tenderloin that was still delicious, but the buns they use are cheaply made in bulk at the bakery commissary facilities in Ankeny so its gonna happen, fortunately this location has a solid staff and are constantly checking the products that are ready to eat.

Great deal on the burger, fries, and a drink for $7. Way better than fast food. Handmade patties not frozen. Staff is always helpful and happy.
