Good Cup

Had some good cup today at Matthews Farmers Market. It reminded us of the first time we heard of them. They brought their set up to our neighborhood during the worst isolation of the pandemic. It was such a special time for neighbors to greet each other at a safe distance and to do something semi social. I so appreciated them coming out.

I had a carmel latte with oat milk and my daughter had an iced vanilla latte. Super YUM. We will make this a farmers market tradition!

Love Good Cup! They are GOOD people serving GOOD Coffee! ❤ They are set up at the Matthews Farmers Market every Saturday morning with the espresso machine as well as whole bean or ground coffee bags to purchase if you want to make a GOOD cup at home. ❤ The Aslan is one of my favorites! I also follow them on IG @goodcup to get up dates on any pop ups, events, etc they will be at around the Charlotte area!

Came to know the Good Cup family thru the Farmers Market during No Shave November and the beard contest & later Sweet Life Cafe.
I am a better person for being their joyful customer.
Amish milk? Amish? There are Amish in Matthews? Need more. Super neat. I though they just made the furniture at the store across from McAlpibe Park.

I discovered Good Cup when they came out to a fundraising event at my kids' school. Their set-up was rustic and gorgeous and their coffee was just as amazing. I also enjoyed talking to the team as they were such wonderful people. I highly recommend stopping by to see the team at Good Cup Coffee and enjoying their delicious coffee and espresso selections. I am going to head to the Matthews Farmer's Market to pick up a couple bags of their coffee so I can enjoy it all day long!

Good Cup Coffee was amazing. Their owners partnered with our elementary school PTA ti help provide our families with coffee and espresso during the school's fun run. They were gracious because we are a start-up PTA with limited funds. They were on-time and just all around amazing. Their peppermint mocha was so good and everyone was raving about how good it was to have Good Cup Coffee at the event. We will definitely be having them back to our school events.

A wonderful place. I had a chaga chai & a chicken sandwich and they were both amazing. The place was cute, i especially loved the outside patio area! The staff were all so friendly and inviting. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Good cup has by FAR the nicest coffee I have ever tasted! So much so that I couldn’t wait to drive the 40 minute commute to their shop to get some more after trying it for the first time. The owners are also genuinely kind people wanting to add value to the the community. Such a rare find these days! Matthews is lucky to have this awesome little coffee shop in their town! If you love or maybe even just kinda like coffee little and haven’t tried it…. Don’t wait! You will not regret it!

The attention to detail is superb! They truly make a good cup!!! Leeli’s Song was the most flavorful, wholesome latte I’ve ever had. The workers are genuine and truly care about their craft. Highly recommend!

I was at the Matthews Farmer’s Market this morning and had one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. That’s saying a lot as I’ve had coffee in several countries around the world. The owners are some of the best down to earth people. And I was served by a beautiful and kind young man by the name of Noah. Best coffee!

It’s a locally owned coffee shop in the heart of downtown Matthews. There are comfortable common areas in a vintage vibe cottage house. Outdoor seating is available including a rear patio. With free WI-FI, it’s a regular stop for students and remote work. Parking in the back is limited so also look for on street options or the public lot along the railroad. Service on the weekend can get pretty backed-up, especially Saturday morning, with lines out the door. Be patient.

This very friendly family serves their coffee every weekend at the farmers market out of their converted 70's VW minibus! Their coffee is fantastic! Unique and thoughtful designs reflect the good vibes you get from the people running Good Cup. These folks have good hearts and deserve all the business you can give them. The coffee is fantastic and perfect every time. They travel all around the Greater Charlotte area so check their instagram to see where they will be on what days!

I walked in expecting just an average cup of Joe, but I received a good-cup! Even better then my girlfriends and I’s craft coffee drinks was the fabulous service. Joshua is an amazing barista and all around chill and nice-dude. Is he Amish?! No one knows. But the Amish milk was a 10/10!!!

My favorite day of the week is Monday. Yes, you read that right! Why on earth would it be Monday? Because that’s when Good Cup comes to my job! I am an esthetician at tbh Skincare Spa in Indian Trail and every Monday morning, Good Cup comes to our parking lot ready to serve smiles and delicious quality coffee. I’ve tried several of their hand crafted beverages and each one is incredible. My team is obsessed with the Wildflower Latte! Each drink on the menu is really unique, flavorful and perfect. Joshua and Debbie are happy to answer any questions you might have about the menu and they are so nice to talk to while you wait for your drink to be finished. Everything about Good Cup is amazing and I’m so grateful to have their team and their coffee in my life!

So this place is Amazing! Only recently found out they share the space with GOOD CUP in the mornings and their coffee, or my Lulu Carmel is phenomenal. Really hit the spot on a chilly day. Clean facility, bright friendly staff at both the Loyalist and Good Cup, great food and beverages. Both companies support local vendors! I'll definitely have to grab one of those baked treats made in Waxhaw on my next visit!!

As a former Starbucks aficionado, I can say with gusto -- Good Cup is where it's at. I love the sweet "you're family" atmosphere, the tasty, never-boring options, and the ability to know that my money is supporting local. My entire family loves it. My husband swears by the Chaga Chai, my 3 and 4 year olds love Lulu's Latte (immune-boosting! Yes, please!), and I am a The Way We Move's #1 fan (also love the Turmeric Chai, Masala Chai, and Cold brew shandy... And don't forget Aslan!!). So so good. Joshua is also wonderfully patient when the decisions become to difficult and you need recommendations. Highly recommend!! We are so glad they are here!

Debbie, Josh and the kids feel like family! Great people, soulful convos and delicious coffee. If you’re looking for a fun Saturday outing look at attending a local fitness class then stop by for coffee & conversation, treats and then hit the farmers market! So fun!

I realize this is random but I just wanted to share with you how unexpectedly pleased I was with the coffee I had on Saturday. I had my 5 year old granddaughter with me who is rather rambunctious and seeing how long it was taking for the barista creating the beautifully crafted beverages I had my concerns on timing . I decided i would just wait my turn and hoped my granddaughter would be patient. I am so glad I did as the coffee was probably the best I’ve had . Well worth it . And the charming smile of the barista made it even better ! Can’t wait to stop in again. Thank you 😊

The good cup is the best coffee shop in Charlotte Metro—hands down! They have seasonal drinks crafted with mindful ingredients. You can count on fresh and local at the Good Cup. Even their pastries, new and fresh each morning, are from local bakers. Joshua and Deborah have crafted a community-oriented gem in the heart of Matthews.

I tried this place a few weeks ago and I'm excited to go back soon! Very friendly service and delightfully unusual drink offerings. I tried the Aslan latte, which is caramel-y and spicy in just the right way. Also, love the eco-friendly policy of no plastic lids. If you need a lid, bring your own cup!

Get the Aslan, you won’t be disappointed. The Masala chai is great too, as is the Chaga chai. The best part about The Good Cup is meeting new friends and having a few blessed and chill moments in your day.
