My second time here and everything was delightful! They had some extra candies out which was a nice touch, and my coffee was out very quickly. I wish they were open a little longer to enjoy more!

Our first time here. We are all about supporting local small businesses. This one did not disappoint! A cute coffee shop/café tucked in Dover. Both hubby & I got coffees and a breakfast sandwich. Both were awesome. Hubby even got a coffee to go. Front staff/baristas were very friendly. I believe the chef may be the owner and while he creates great food, I would have liked to see him greet customers. He passed us several times without a smile or greeting. Overall a great place and we will be back.

I normally frequent another local coffee shop, but JSC is closer to my house so I decided to give it a try today. I got a strawberry refresher (I’m not a coffee drinker) and the CBR panini. My goodness, both were delicious! The panini was incredible and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Best bacon ever. I ordered takeout online (super easy process) but waited in the cafe for a few minutes while my food was being made. The space is bright and pleasant with nice service to boot. I will 100% be back! Edit: one week later... I went back and tried the steak sandwich. Equally as tasty and loaded with ingredients. You definitely get your money's worth here!

Excellent food with a natural delicious flavor that compliments each ingredient. After tasting several menu items and coffee drinks, this place had hit the nail on the head. I highly recommend stopping for a coffee or espresso drink to go or dine in their clean very well laid out eatery area.

Got the white mocha and a breakfast sandwich! The brioche bun was so yummy and the southwestern ranch was a tasty touch! Such a cute little shop!

I've tried most of the local non-chain coffee shops and Joe Streat has the best coffee. The staff is friendly does very good at making orders quickly. Mr. Streat is usually there grinding his beans so that they're fresh. What ever coffee beans they're using are very good. Sometimes in an espresso drink like a latte you really lose the coffee flavor in the milk and added flavorings but their coffee always shines through. They have a small bakery display, it always has the essentials like cinnamon rolls and muffins and also items from the local allergen free/keto bakery Safe and Sweet. I've only ever tried their breakfast sandwiches and the steak breakfast sandwich, both were good. The inside is always very very clean, the furniture is cute, and the paver patio out back is really cute with little garden beds full of herbs. The only thing it needs is WiFi and a drive through window.

Perfect coffee concoctions paired with tasty appetizers. This coffee flight experience is fast becoming one of my favorite indulgences. You should go!

Super frappes. They are always excellent and the only place I know that has a 32 ounce on the menu. Food is good too.

I had the croissant chicken salad sandwich - creamy with surprising flavor - fresh grapes and yummy dill pickle on the side. The freshly roasted coffee was super.

Also picked up a coffee soap on the way out. Apparently antioxidants in coffee beans are good for the skin!!
Everything is organic, fresh and Earth friendly.

This was my first time here and it was AMAZING! The employees there were so nice to me and helped me navigate the menu. The atmosphere felt like home and the set up is cute! Their cold brew is delicious as well as the açaí bowl! I’ve yet to find a good açaí bowl in York! Will be stopping here regularly!

Absolutely Love Joe Streat cafe. All the food and coffee is delicious. Hands-down the best breakfast sandwich in york county. Decent pricing for food. If you’re looking for a Great local coffee shop, I would recommend JoeStreat.

I am vegan and there are some vegan options. They always are willing to make modifications when possible to make something vegan. Very friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating area that now has shade.

Everything is so good here! Love the atmosphere and the food is just amazing!! We love getting the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich on croissant with chicken sausage. YUM!!!

My husband and I have been craving a good, fresh breakfast sandwich so we decided to try Joes and O.M.G. the sandwiches are soooooo good. The bacon was thick and delicious. The croissant was so good. The eggs were cooked perfectly. So excited to have finally tried this cafe!! This will def be our new spot for breakfast sandwiches and coffee!!

My wife and I love this place great food even better coffee and a nice and helpful staff! I would give them 6 stars if I could.

A absolutely beautiful restaurant. Excellent style and bright and clean! Amazing food! I cannot believe this is in York, Pa!! It’s about time someone took the chance to bring good style and flavor to this place!! High Five!!

AMAZING!! I got the Avocado Toast with egg and bacon, and a cold Hazelnut Macchiato. Both were amazing! They don't lie... the avocado toast is made with delicious slices of avocado. The bacon and egg on it was great too! The bagel seasoning adds wonderful flavor to an already flavor-filled slice of what I have deemed "Heavenly Avo-toast-o". My cat even gave it the sniff test of approval! I definitely recommend coming here. It's 5 stars from me!

This is one of the cutest little cafés I have ever been to. They have locally sourced pastries, a variety of breakfast and lunch items, and REALLY good coffee. I appreciate that they roast their own coffee, because you can definitely taste the freshness. We bought two bags of beans to make at home. If we are ever back in York PA we will be stopping here!
