SEPHORA at Kohl's Clive

I have NEVER had such a great experience at any Sephora as I have at this one. Couple weeks ago and older gal helped me find some GREAT products to add to my skin regimen and last night Alex did the same!! I could go on for days about how amazing my service is. Never been to a location that has so many just KNOWLEDGEABLE employee's. It didn't feel like the typical sales rigmarole- seems like people that actually are knowledgeable and educated about all kinds of different products to suit every skin type. My skin and I thank the employees of this Sephora :)

Alex is incredible! Anytime I go in & see him or hear his voice I am instantly happy & excited to get his help. His customer service skills are top notch & in a genuine way. I feel so at ease talking with him, feel heard & cared for. I hope he’s paid well especially through the holiday season. He stands out & so deserves it. Appreciate my pleasant experiences here at this Clive Sephora located in Khols.

The customer service at the Kohls Sephora is 10000000x better than the one in the mall. They are even more professional!

A lovely person helped me find a exactly what I was looking for, but even better. And was just a wonderful experience. ✨🥳 Also the product was Tatcha Rice exfoliating powder, love it.

The employees at this location are knowledgeable and excellent! Just had a wonderful experience. Will return to this Sephora location.

Today is Wed Feb 8 at 11:20am. I asked for help finding a liquid eyeliner in brown. A woman with short dark hair walked me to an area with eye liners and said that they do not have any in brown. I said that was surprising and decided to look for myself. I found 4 different brands of the brown liquid eyeliner I was looking for. I went to the register where the woman who “helped” me was standing, along with two other associates. I told her that I was able to find 4 different brands of the item I was looking for. I then asked if any of the three associates could help guide me on which ones were good. The woman who I originally spoke to shrugged, and a nice associate (wearing a hijab) said she wasn’t familiar with them. The third associate (who had long blond hair) was standing behind the register and only a few feet from me ignored my request and was busy looking at her phone. I asked her again if she could help and she said “oh I don’t know I just got here.” Then she looked at the eyeliners I had brought to the counter and suggested a couple, which I purchased. She then said they just got a shipment in and maybe that’s why the other associate wasn’t aware of them. This made no sense as the original associate hadn’t looked in any of the places I had found them. I looked at the associate ringing me up like “oh come on” and then she glared at me like she was some kind of school yard bully and spoke in a rude tone to me as she rang me up. As I walked away I could hear them snickering.

So, if you’d like to be treated poorly by at least two associates who are very disinterested in actually helping customers I highly recommend coming here.

DONT GET YOUR MAKE UP DONE AT SEPHORA!!! ITS A SCAM!! I went to Sephora a day earlier to ask about their make-up services, I was told that apparently they have “LICENSED MAKE UP ARTISTES” so I booked an appointment the next morning. Upon arrival the lady started doing my make up and she was being instructed what to do, she had no idea what she was doing and was making mistakes the whole time. They got my foundation shade wrong and couldn’t even replicate the photo they requested of what I’d like. SEPHORA STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE!! YOU CANNOT MAKE PEOPLE PAY FOR A SERVICE THATS BEING DONE BY AMATEURS WHO HAVE NEVER DONE MAKE-UP BEFORE!! I had travelled from a different State, forgot my make up bag and opted to have a professional do it! Only to come out looking like a ghost because they had an AMATEUR do it, who couldn’t even get my shade right! I had to buy brand new Fenty make up to just do it myself which I should have done in the first place!! HORRIBLE SCAM!! WASTED MY MONEY!!

I went in to look at some Spicebomb Night Vision cologne. I was basically treated like a potential theft threat. No greeting upon entering the area, no asking what I was looking for, nada. Just a employee invading my personal space and just watching me. It made me incredibly uncomfortable. I work retail, I know the signs, but I also know how to at least acknowledge people.
