Ocean State Job Lot

This store is filled with friendly, helpful staff; they go out of their way to help you find what you need. Nice selection of products at very reasonable prices. They're also super-generous in helping local charities--I work with a homeless shelter and they donate goods to us each year. Love shopping here, definitely worth the trip. PS. If you're a foodie, check out the food selection, they have a lot of specialty items at a fraction of the price you'd pay at a grocery store.

Unique deals, fun finds, great gourmet ingredients, per usual. It was my first time at this location, and it did not disappoint!

Excellent prices. They have a little bit of everything. Just needs to be a bit more organized but I can still manage to find everything I need, so no need to take a star off!

This past Friday I went to this store for the first time since 2022. I was absolutely amazed with difference, right when my wife and I entered we were met with a greeting and asked if we needed help finding anything. The front of the store looked like a grand opening, everything was perfectly organized and most importantly we found all of the spring/summer items we were looking for before even leaving the entrance lane.

My reason for actually writing the review was because we were so grateful for an employee (his name is Victor), we had already traveled to two different Ocean State Job Lots in the past couple weeks looking for a specific rug. Unfortunately, the rug was not on the sales floor and Victor had witnessed us struggling, asked us if we needed assistance. He proceeded to look up the specific rug in the computer then spent about 5 minutes in the back finding the rug for us. My wife and I were so grateful for someone to take their time and really care about customer service. Yes, he found the exact rug!!!

We will absolutely be returning to this store and make this our “home” Ocean State again going forward. FIVE STARS.

I love Ocean State, the crazy deals are incredible, if you pay attention and use them well, and I especially love the staff at this store!

Every time I ask for help, they're more than happy to not only assist, but engage with me to help me find exactly what I need, which isn't always the original thing I was looking for. They've got great deals on local goods (polar seltzers) and the Red Mill and spice collection is staggering.

I can't say enough about how great I think this place is. (Yes, I just got back from a highly successful shopping trip, so I've got a lot of post shopping adrenaline 🙂

Travelled a little further out to this store. This location was well stocked compared to the ones nearby me.

I go here to get bird feed since Home Depot no longer carries them. No complaints.

I like this place especially the manager Salmon. What a cool man he is. The only tjing I suggest is get rid of difficult poeple at the customer service desk

The place is well stocked, clean, and have a diverse selection within each category of merchandise. The staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. There priceing is very competitive. Oh, since I don't drive the MBTA has bus stops nearby.

Why I give a store that's like an "outlet" 5 stars..mmm? Well, watch the circular, sign up for emails & see their "Crazy Deals"! Can't go wrong. I'm in that area so I stop in frequently & you can get one of a kind items (designer name) etc. Not price. Gourmet crackers & cookies far cheaper & they sell beer & wine. Now, the names may be different & prices start at 1.99 so u wonder but I've tried & VERY PLEASANTLY Surprised (brought to friends) actually saw at 2 local Liquor Stores for 17.99 a bottle! Made me think, if Trader Joe's advertised it- but Ocean State doesn't. Plus they have rugs, soups that sell in other stores for 3.50 here 1.50 NOT EXPIRED! Like I said- love it. But sadly, Covid has affected my favorite store in prices like many others. Right before covid we bought 2 indoor/outdoor recliners for our screened in front porch for 120.00 each. Actually used for 12 months waiting for furniture - very comfortable- noticed last year cost went up & this year each one is 202!! WOW!! YES, WELL BUILT- But WOW-
Gloves. Socks those hands & feet warmers can't beat the deals!

Went in the Medford location Portsmouth NH and also Seabrook NH were my stores anyways I got a cardigan sweater 15 dollas my favorite sweater now and bebe pajama pants 10 dollars and a throw blanket for 12.99 going back for my winter jacket this week my boyfriend got one 40 bucks I think so nice also If you buy a jacket at a certain time and donate it you get a 40 dollar gift card you do the math love this place always had luck finding something always something new if you have never been here go take a look

Surprised at all of the blankets and comfortable comfy couch covers here . There are so many to choose from beautiful color's nice price too. Towels, shower curtains , and rugs too well I ran out of money be back soon.

I make some food shopping trips there every couple of months to look for unusual products that aren't in the regular supermarkets. They have different brands that you don't usually see. I've found my favorite pretzels and pasta there that aren't available other places.

You could find almost everything here from clothing to kitchen appliances. The things I get here at hidden gems and everything is super affordable. Customer service is good and the lines are never too long. When I come here to buy one item, I usually leave with two or three extra items I didn't really need.
