New Balance Factory Store Carlsbad

KUDOS to Kara for great customer service. Despite being short-staffed, Kara took time to process my returned shoes bought online & complete new online purchase of correct shoe size not available in store, to be shipped to my home. This New Balance store is the closest location an hour away from my home. THANK YOU Kara for making my trip worthwhile!

Visited the New Balance store and was blown away by the service. The manager, Kara, provided the best customer care I've ever received. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a top-notch experience is unmatched. Highly recommend this store! I felt welcomed, and really taken care of!!!!

Staff was very helpful, I didn't end up purchasing the shoes here, but one of the staff members was extremely helpful in guiding me around the different shoes and understanding my dilemma in dealing with larger feet.

Has wide width shoes at a reasonable price. Nice customer service. 👌

Not many brand of shoes carry width size. New balance does.

I was influenced to check out New Balance Carlsbad after coming into the San Clemente location & leaving with a great experience purchasing new shoes for my sister. I do work for a competing brand at the Carlsbad outlet but am trying to expand my running shoes. In fact, my current consistent running shoe is not the brand I work for. As an undergraduate I did excercise physio/biomechanics student reasearch with the brand I work for so I know what I’m looking for in terms of what I need as an athlete for running. It seemed easier to head over & check it out after work so I had my backpack with me. I don’t know how bad NB’s loss prevention is but I do know how bad it’s got as of recent for m brand. So I know the protocols. This NB location needs to be careful because although I was welcomed in by Kara, which was cool,it eventually began feeling like racial profiling. I could tell she was the manager on duty. During the 15 minutes I was there, I ended up being the last consumer in the store & ended up simply purchasing 30% off shorts which I’m going to return. A very basic 2-in-1,but no security in terms of keeping things in your pockets on a run. I was probably the only person to purchase anything during that time while the store was decently filled with consumers when I came in. I will say if you’re looking for great service & more options, it is worth it take that drive to the San Clemente location. It is bigger. They have more options. Staff was extremely personable. And like I said, it was the San Clemente location that influenced me to even look into Carlsbad & I work in Carlsbad. Cynthia at San Clemente helped my sister pick out some shoes as a healthcare worker. I told Cynthia I worked for a competing brand & don’t know much about NB’s so she was so helpful in also helpin me decide in some NB models for running. Skip Carlsbad & just go to San Clemente.
