Mix Huevos - Breakfast & Lunch

This was a great restaurant and I didn't know what to expect as I had never eaten here before. The meal I had was the chunky monkey pancakes and it was absolutely outstanding!! I also got a hot chocolate that was great and the ambiance was excellent. Our server was very kind and friendly. We also spoke with Rey and he told us that the name of the restaurant will be changing and that they will be staying open later in the next few weeks. Rey was a super nice guy and put about 10 minutes aside to chat with me and my family! It's rare that this ever happens when you go to a restaurant. Great customer service and communication! They also serve burgers, pasta and a host of other items that I can't wait to try!! I was impressed with my first visit to Benedict’s and I will introducing some of my family members to this restaurant shortly. I also forgot to mention that Benedict’s also has a bar that I will need to check out the next time I go. If you haven't been here yet, I would highly recommend you check it out!

An excellent place for breakfast on a quiet weekday morning. I suspect this place is nuts on the weekend, but on a Thursday it was quite peaceful. Coffee was OK, service was friendly. We had the Bronx Benedict (on corned beef hash) and the sweet potato scramble. The benedict eggs were poached nicely and the hollandaise was good. I was surprised that the sweet potato scramble was light on sweet potatoes AND came with a side of country potatoes, but it was tasty and hey, potatoes are good!

It was my first time here since new ownership, I wasn't even aware the restaurant had changed from Benedicts. Alot of the menu is the same with some new additions. The food was wonderful and so was the service! Can't wait to come back & try more things on the menu!

I couldn't decide between two Benedicts and our server suggested combining two together into one. So I got half turkey and half California Benedict.

My husband got fried chicken on waffle Benedict. He said it satisfied all his cravings at once.

Staff was great, food was amazing and my family was happily full!

We live right next to this restaurant and have always come here for breakfast which is always excellent and today we tried their lunch and it was excellent as well. Servers are always so nice.

Good food, friendly staff, and great service. We got on letters, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and it was all delicious. The Chunky Monkey Pancakes are easily enough for 2. I had the Meat Market Omelette and biscuits and gravy and it was pretty good. The biscuits were a little heavier than I’m used to but I live in a different part of the country where biscuits and gravy are a staple in breakfast; it was still good.

I ordered the Bronx Benedict and a Bellini cocktail. This is the first time for me that when I asked for extra crispy hash browns, it was executed correctly. The hash browns was crispy on both sides and a thin layer of the soft potatoes. Genuine pleasure to eat. My only nitpick was the potato chunks in the corned beef hash was a little big and a bit much, considering you're already offering a side of potatoes. I went early to avoid the rush and wanted peace and quiet. Staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean. Definitely will be in my rotation of restaurants going forward.

The sweet potato scramble was AMAZING! Best scramble I've ever had. The drinks were also FIRE! We will be coming back next weekend 🍳🍹

Chilaquiles we’re fantastic! Excellent quality products and quantity was just right! Also enjoyed the paradise mimosa which paired very well!! Atmosphere was welcoming and wait staff was most timely and friendly!!

I have gone here a handful of times with friends and every time it’s been great! The chilaquiles are my favorite!

This is my 1st time putting a review in general for a restaurant, I just never take the time to do so...but this place is freaken delicious! We got the chile verde omelet, sourdough bread toast, 3 little pigs, country fried steak, and chunky monkey pancakes, we wanted to try different dishes and everything we got was so dang delicious, they even got house made ketchup was really good and oh ya & their orange juice was so fresh you can tell everything was homemade and the taste of each dish wasn't just your ordinary taste like they have everywhere, they had there own delicious taste & spin on everything

Breakfast was fantastic and service was great. Benedict's are very good. They make nearly everything from scratch so can't go wrong with food.

It was dark, gloomy and dull start to the Sunday! And we needed something to pick us up for the remainder of the weekend. What better than a good hearty breakfast in a cosy breakfast joint! And we found just the right spot in Benedicts Cafe and Bar.

Bit of a drive from home, but with almost non-existent morning traffic and coasting the inner roads of San Jose through the windy and drizzling weather we reached the place quickly and found the place to ourselves, almost.

The establishment is huge, clean and dining area is divided into the bar area and main for big groups and side seating near the windows. This time we chose the window seating in a booth - notice how slyly I have hinted we will be coming back for more!!

The staff was very friendly and yet not overly attentive leaving us to enjoy the slow morning with our mugs of coffee as waited for our breakfast to arrive.

I went in for their Classic Benedict with extra crispy hash browns, along with a side of sausage links! They did not disappoint !! The poached eggs were on point, just perfectly runny, the hollandaise sauce light fluffy and creamy with perfect flavor and sliced ham was toasted just right. The extra crispy hash browns were exactly that - crispy on the outside , correctly cooked inside, and without a hint of oil anywhere!! And the sausages were fried so well that it tasted sinfully good!

A simple authentic breakfast made marvelously well - Rating - a solid 5/5

The better half chose the California Benedict with country potatoes. She could not stop gushing over the flavor profile that was introduced with the thick slices of Tomatoes and Avocado added which further enhanced while complementing the creamy Hollandaise's taste. And the Country Potatoes were fried to perfection with tomatoes, caramelized onions, bell peppers and spiced just perfectly!! Rating - a solid 5/5

We loved everything about this place, ample parking, cosy and comfy atmosphere, great service and best of all thE quality of the food served. Prices were a little above average, but the value provided for that price - marvelous !

We will return!

Nice place, good food and portions are large. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Options on seating indoor, outdoor, and bar and booths.

My new fav breakfast place. I drove all the way from Downtown San Jose, and it was worthwhile. Amazing service and staff, of course it was super busy, but I didn't care the wait because it was worthy.
