The Running Shop and Hops

So many beers to choose from on draft and cans to many in fact. No food served here but right next door is a great pizza place and you can bring it over no problem

Best thing about Running Shop is their beer selection - both on tap and to take home. The thing that makes them unique is they allow you to mix cans rather than having to take a four pack of the same beer. Craft beer is so expensive already, buying four cans of something you’re not sure you’ll like? Not here!

While there is seating indoors and out, this place gets HOPPING in the evenings and on weekends! The line to order a beer can get long but the bartenders work fast. They also have between fifty and eighty six beers on tap, depending on inventory - beers of all styles I might add. You can always see their current menu on the app Untappd.

They have two gender neutral, single person bathrooms that I have yet to see less than clean. They have some swag if you decide you want to give them some free advertising. Kids and pets are welcome and there is usually a food truck available during dinnertime hours.

Parking can be tough during peak hours as they don’t have a dedicated parking lot, but it’s worth the short walk if required.

This place is hopping on a Friday happy hour and yet the folks are super helpful, patient and friendly. Fantastic tap list and great fridge full of to go beers. If you like beer, friendly folks and a great venue, come get a beer here.

They have different food trucks throughout the week, located next to a pizza joint! Great selection of beer and prices are great as well. Def coming back!

Love the huge selection of beers. Nice spot for a few drinks with friends. I even saw some folks here for a retirement party. It's a great addition to Morgan Hill. There's a lot nearby for parking or there is street parking. Kid friendly as well - there were lots of little ones running around. It felt like I was at a family gathering. Very fun atmosphere. The bartenders are super cool and friendly. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Has gender neutral bathrooms as well! I have been back and will be back again!

My favorite go-to spot for a casual drink with friends. There can have over 70+beers on tap, doesn’t include the canned beer in the fridges.

The beer can be from the South Bay to Santa Cruz to Monterey. Loved seeing Alvarado and Humble Sea. Great because I don’t need to drive to Santa Cruz to enjoy their beer on tap.

Fun place to meet friends for a drink. Grab a pizza from next door or something from the food truck out front. You can alway bring food in if that's more your style.

Sunday afternoon, no reservations or call ahead of showing up. As we walked up I started feeling a sense of enchantment and sense of relaxation. The decor, environment, and vast selection make me a great place to bring anyone. I trust the management(whoever makes the decision's) sense of taste. The beer choices are top and make me want to come back and try everything this place has for sale.

This is a fantastic pub. It's very open and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. They converted what was the adjacent running shop to a game room with all the classic pub games you would expect. The staff is very friendly and happy to provide recommendations. The highlight, of course, is there selection of craft beer. They had over 80 on tap during my last visit!

Love this place. Been going here with my co workers and friends for the past year or so now. They have great people working here and their beer is really good! Highly suggest it if you have friends over and need a spot to hang out!

A really great selection of beer is always available and they allow you to bring food in. I had a pork bowl from Chipotle and paired it with a Flat Mars Society IPA from the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. This place is great!

Great atmosphere, music and staff. Beer is delicious as they carry different beers from local too non-local beers. It’s also next to a pizza place!! Can’t go wrong with pizza and beer.

I think we meet the only person who does not like working at a brew house. We waited for like 10 minutes and the guy walked it us at least 3 times before one of the other worked helped us out. Steve was great we mentioned to him.about the other guy sounds like we were not the first to be treated like that.

Best selection of beers in town, anyone can find a beer they like, especially those lager drinkers like me. Not to mention free wifi for those work from home days!

If you are looking for a HUGE beer selection, THIS is the place in Morgan Hills! They don't serve food, but you can bring food in. Inside has lots of seating. A few picnic tables outside in the courtyard where other businesses are. Dog friendly outside, only service animals inside. Bartenders were very friendly, attentive, and helpful.
