New to RC hobby. Bought my son a Taxxas Stampede for Christmas 2023. We’ve both loved it. Well we broke it crashing into things. Truthfully I’m suprised it didn’t break sooner. These trucks aren’t like the one from my childhood Christmas ( Big Bubba, maybe a Radio Shack or Sears purchase. Not sure, but I loved it. ) Anyways. Wasn’t sure how to fix the Traxxas. Took it in and not only did they have the part but they fixed it on the spot while fielding questions from both my son and I. Great experience. I love finding local gems and this place is one. Will be happily spending my $ here when the opportunity arises.

Great store... Friendly staff... easy returns with no arguments...great stock of rc vehicles and planes... great variety of parts and upgrades for rc enthusiasts...I'm glad this store is local to me, as I frequent this store even when I don't need anything.. the staff has great knowledge on various rc models...

Lots of rc cars, planes and boats! Not many heli sorry tho, but I love going there. Been going there for a long time, years!!!

Best place in north canton for all your hobby needs

Stopped in today, 9/22/2023. 1st time in a hobby shop. My RC car was leaking grease. Roy got right to me, tore my car apart, and found no issue. No charge fix. The store was busy too. Thanks, Roy, for your help and honesty. Aero Tech hobbies will be my go-to store from now on!! No more Amazon

Where it all began. Brought my first RC car out of the consignment case 5 years ago. It was a Traxxas JATO. Got me hooked I drive from Akron sometimes several times a week.

They have almost everything you may need for your RC need's. Very knowledgeable and helpful

Very knowledgeable and experienced staff with a great selection of all types of remote controlled vehicles, parts, controllers as well as a good selection of model rocketry. Price was better than I expected especially since they are open later than most hobby shops.

Cool people and a great RC shop. The staff there was very knowledgeable and helpful. They even recommended a good Italian restaurant right up the road. They had a good selection of quality merchandise and seemed to be well stocked on accessories. I would definitely recommend this place for RC hobby purchases and will be heading back up there soon.

Wonderful experience and solid pricing. They helped my entry into the hobby stress free. I will have to return one $6 part that I was told would work in my application, it does not. I always try to buy anything from local small businesses. It rarely works out, but with Aero Tech they will be my go to shop for RC related purchases.

I love this place! Very knowledgeable staff will get you going on all of your RC projects. Large selection of products and parts, great service, he helped answer all my questions. Good prices. I go well out of my way to get to Aero Tech and it's worth every bit!!

I absolutely love this shop.

My dad took me here back in the late 90's to get my first real RC monster truck, a Traxxas Stampede.

It is now more than two decades later and I have a son who I take their regularly. The manager has been there for since my dad took me there.

They are very knowledgeable and have great not only a great selection of vehicles from a number of top brands, but they almost always have the replacement parts for all of those vehicles. I have only had once instance where they didn't have a part I needed and it was actually more of a case that I wanted to replace all 4 axles and they just had 2 in stock. They got the other two in for me in a few days and I was back in business.

Their pricing is actually shockingly low in my opinion. I am a guy who shops a lot online for other things because it is normally cheaper. Not with this shop. I just bought a Traxxas TRX-4 and Axial SCX10 ii and they were both $50-$75 cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Their parts prices are all very in line with prices you would find at the big box stores as well.

I am so happy we have such a great store locally that I can go and support.

My boyfriend bought cars from there. Went it to get things fixed and for parts and was helped when needed thank you.

The guy that works here has been there for many many years. He has more knowledge than any other person I know. They are always fully stocked and ready to help with your hobby needs.

I walked in and asked for help finding paint and glue. The guy working (I assume the owner) was unbelievably helpful and had everything I needed to get my project started. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing to build a model or just looking for insight on their project.

Every purchase I have ever made from this hobby shop has been perfect! I have coming to this shop since I was a child. They always have a great selection and I always get the assistance I need. For instance I purchased a NiMh battery charger and explained I had an older style plug on my present set of batteries and he proceeded to make me an end that fit the charger allowing me to charge all of my old battery packs for my older RC cars! This makes me very happy! I will recommend this hobby shop to all that ask where to get anything hobby related in Akron or N. Canton!

I'm giving them a five-star because I have been going their since I was a kid. Very helpful. I love this place. Real men talking about real parts. Like real men do. On a scale version. Tell it like it is kind of place. Not trying to up sale. Tell you what you need for what you are doing and that's it! That's why my dad went here. Now so am I. They have helped me out so many times since 2001. I'll never have a bad thing to say about Aero tech.

Came in from out of town, great service, excellent stock on hand and very well priced. I travel a lot and can honestly say this is one of the best RC airplane and car shops I have ever visited. Had a problem with my radio and the staff bent over backwards to help me figure it out.

Always good advise when trying to fix or upgrade your rc car. If they don't have it, they can order it. They also offer repair and installation services. I needed a battery connector soldered, no problem.
