Gateway Spoon Café & Grill

This place was great! 5 of us went, 3 adults and two kids and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the biscuits and gravy which were incredible!! My mom has gluten and dairy allergies and they accommodated her. Niece and nephew loved their food. Coffee was good. The restaurant was nice and spacious and music was nice as well. We have a new favorite breakfast spot! We will be back

We really love this new restaurant on the south side of Holland, corner of 24th Street and U.S. 31.
The food is AMAZING and the staff is helpful and really nice. Eating there is a fabulous experience. I hope to try everything on the menu over time. So far I have had the Beef Biscuit Brisket, The Mexican Street Corn Bowl, and The Spoon Burger. My husband had The Cuban Breakfast Bowl. All were fantastic.

Very much enjoyed our first visit. The staff was wonderful, the food came out fast and was delicious. I had the savory biscuits and gravy. Their gravy is a unique take on the traditional version and it was very flavorful and tasty on their yummy biscuits. My son tried the pancakes and they were super big and fluffy. On our way out we grabbed some of the petit fours in the cafe to-go and they also tasted great. A++ experience. Will definitely be back soon.

Such a cool atmosphere and great food! I love that breakfast is served all day long and that there are many healthy options available. I will be returning because there are so many more dishes I want to try. I highly recommend for any foodie looking for a new go-to spot :)

The place is comfy and nice. The food is good, with good flavor and ingredients. I liked the coffee as well. I ordered the hipster scrambled eggs and was sooo good, the bread with butter delicious. The service kind 😊

I stopped in today for the grand opening, and it was such a huge crowd of supporters! Service is kind and attentive, and the food and coffee are great. Try the brisket dishes.

Sausage and gravy was Luke warm but had them reheat then it was great service needs a little improvement

I have never written a Google review before, but I felt the need to post one about the Spoon! My husband and I went in late October for the first time, and I have been craving their breakfast potatoes ever since! I am gluten-free and had plenty of options to choose from for breakfast. Our waitress was so kind and the food came out quickly and was beautifully prepared. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and inviting. You can tell the staff really cares about providing a pleasant experience, and it paid off. 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious food - definitely recommend The Big Cheese melt! Servers couldn’t be kinder and the restaurant as a whole has a great atmosphere. Love the cafe area too!

I enjoy their cafe and stop by weekly to grab a latte! Their drive-thru is so convenient and perfect for days on the go.

I have gone several times for brunch and have enjoyed their unique and fun flavors. 10/10 recommend dining here!

I got the Chicken artichoke melt and it was amazing! I highly recommend this place for a chill Sunday lunch with your family! The fries could have more flavor but they were still good!

Went here for breakfast, Saturday. I ordered the Hipster breakfast. It was delicious. My friend's son ordered the Brisket and Eggs breakfast and we just had to sample the brisket - it was delicious!! Very nice atmosphere, inviting, and has tables with seating for 3. Our server did her best to make sure our dining experience was a great one. I usually take photos of my food, but forgot.

A great place for breakfast and lunch. This is the new go to place to go. Absolutely amazing. CHeck it out. Great for meetings.

Wonderful breakfast & lunch choices with creative twists that give a fresh, new appeal to many classic dishes! The ingredients are high quality, and local, and they don't skimp on the portions either. I will be coming back again soon!! 🍳🥪😋

Nice layout at the Spoon, excellent service, nice soft background music, comfortable seating, tables are nice and stable, nice decor and colors inside too!
Went for breakfast on Fridat - good coffee and had the Waffle with fruit and with sausages - very good! Other half had the Cuban Bowl - liked it alot too! We'll definitely return and try lunch too!

Gateway spoon is so good. Breakfast, Lunch, or the Cafe I have left happy every time! Wait times are excellent for some really delicious food. It also feels a little better going here compared to some other cafés knowing my money is helping the community vs filling someone else's pockets.

So glad to have another breakfast option in Holland! What a beautiful space and a friendly, dedicated staff! Our food came quickly and our toddler was delighted with the sprinkles on her waffle and the “hipster” scramble had great flavor and a generous portion. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless.

First time here and it was a great experience. Fast and friendly service by the hostess and waitress! Nothing spectacular about the flavor of the food as it was a typical egg breakfast but the amount of food was quite generous. Lots of bacon and potatoes! I will be back! 😊
