I have to say that Nora Elementary holds the most phenomenal AYS staff. From Mr Jacob, Ms Dia, Ms Monica and Ms. Andrea, they all do an amazing job. Communication wise, making sure your child is safe, they do activities with the kids, even help with homework, they’re always smiling and so welcoming. Nora has the best AYS staff period, and I absolutely love that for me!!!! Great Team!!!!

AYS is affordable, the staff are friendly. I feel safe knowing my child is in good hands.

I have never had any issues in the 3 years of use. I pay my invoice on time. AYS is always offering incentives for early sign ups that help offset cost.

I love the staff at AYS! All of my children have attended their program. The convince of dropping my little ones off for before/after school care at a site located within the school is a piece of mind that’s priceless. The care they receive and the bonds they form with the staff are amazing.

Our family has loved our experience with AYS in Washington Township. The staff is so loving to our students, and they have added extra programming right now that has been wonderful. We are grateful for this option for our family's schedule.

We've used AYS for before and after school care and summer enrichment, and we have had nothing but a great experience. My daughter loves the staff and the activities, and they communicate well with us.

Don't you DARE be late paying your invoice! They will not hesitate to “terminate your contract” without even reaching out to make you aware. Make no mistake, this is strictly a business…NO interest whatsoever in children’s wellbeing. One would think that to be in this field requires at least the tiniest amount of compassion and understanding of children, families, and their situations. I really wish I didn’t have to give the one star required to submit the review.
I do want to clarify a couple things…First, the actual staff they hired to physically oversee the kids were great, no complaints from me and my daughter thought highly of them. Also, I completely understand that this is a business and that requires revenue to operate and be successful.. But the manner in which my situation(s) were handled were very aggressive and unprofessional and no communication. I would get up an extra hour early and drive across town if that’s what i have to do for childcare before Id be treated like an invoice again.

Before anything else, the childcare providers that have worked at the school have been nothing but helpful. If we would leave them a separate review, they would definitely get a solid 5 star rating.

Our issue is with the administrative staff who overlook the accounts, specifically the accounts that receive state aid via CCDF vouchers. Based on our correspondence, there is one point of failure within the AYS admin office. Up until recently, and after requesting to speak with individuals higher up the chain, the accounting office would often go weeks and MONTHS without responding to pressing emails regarding accounting clarifications that resulted in hundreds of dollars in balances due. When this individual does respond they are constructed with undertones as if the parents are meant to be the ones doing the accounting for them. The sad part is that this is just for one account. Some of these issues were from the previous school year! There is a high possibility that this clerical error has effected multiple families and therefore resulting in thousands of dollars left getting unchecked. As a result, families who use childcare vouchers are left to foot the bill. If thought about more deeply, it is clear how this is a huge issue. On the topic of underprivileged families, you can go ahead and forget about your child being in after school extracurriculars, because even if your child is at team practice in the school, they will be seen as not utilizing the service, leaving families to use personal days to cover, days of which are typically meant to be used for illness or emergency. To top that all off, the lack of oversight of the accounting team often charges personal days for days that the school is closed. To make matters worse, the system that parents and childcare providers are meant to use to charge the account is consistently down, further compounding these accounting issues.

The only saving grace in that office is the individual in charge of relaying emails sent to the registrar's office. If that person wasn't there, the majority of our ongoing issues would not be resolved.

And to whomever responds to these reviews, please save yourself the time and forget about posting the phone number and email to "talk about these issues further," it won't be until next school year that I get a response. Instead, share this review with AYS's board of directors, maybe they'll have a voice loud enough to get these issues resolved. It is part of their duties as board members.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would worse company I’ve ever dealt with by far customer service sucks, and
When you finally talk to someone they don’t even know what’s going on 6 months they let my bill pile up never sending me a bill or anything i just so happen to look at the account and I contacted them. They told me all of their accounts are incorrect and NOT to pay them yet! I contacted them for several months to get the bill settled. I finally call and they said they sent my account to collections. Never saying anything!!! After me contacting them for them months! I paid the bill in full in collections. And then they tell
Me I have to pay half of the bill back to them because collections only gives them half of the bill. And now they are sending me a check because they ended up owing me!!

No customer service. No returned phone calls. If you have issues or concerns there is no head of anything to manage those concerns.
