Sacred Waters Kava Bar

First time to Kava when we met some new friends there. The barrista explained all things Kava to us and gave us samples. We picked out drinks and really enjoyed them. Cool vibe, comfortable couches and chairs, good music. We will definitely go back to hangout.

I first walked in the doors of Sacred Waters about 6 months ago, wary and unsure of a new place, unfamiliar people, and an unfamiliar menu. Madison talked me through the menu and I enjoyed my first taste of kava enough that I returned a couple days later to try some more. Since then, I've gone innumerable times and it has become a haven for me - a safe and welcoming place with the absolute best people where I am learning to emerge from my shell, meet new people, and enjoy more of life. The kratom and kava help.

Relaxing atmosphere. Great place to get some work done on my laptop or meet and chat with friends. The “kava tenders” are all friendly and very knowledgeable.

Was a nice place! Non alcoholic bar that opens late! Safe place to be in w ur friends if u want to be out but don’t want alcohol around!
Cozy seats, high seats… everything available! Free wifi!
I give 3/5 for service because when i went there no one was there to take my order; i was standing there feeling confused for over 10 min; didn’t know who was working there or how to place my order!
They don’t serve food! I saw biscuits on the table! But that’s it…

I’m so happy this place is here, it’s so nice to have somewhere to go and not feel like you have to drink alcohol. The interior is very warm and inviting. The staff is absolutely amazing. I’ve been in several times now and am so grateful for their exemplary and friendly staff. It’s a beautiful thing when a place that makes you feel so welcome.

Wow, what a gem of a place. I came in tonight with my friend. Friendly and nice bartender, delicious not overly sweet drinks, and nice atmosphere. I felt a euphoric feeling from the kava, and I can’t wait to come back. I hope this place stays forever.

I had the most amazing time at this place! It was my first time there and the staff is incredible! I cannot stress how welcoming and caring the environment here is! If you haven’t been here you should definitely check it out, there’s no other place that I have had that good of a time at!

We are so lucky to have a kava bar right in our own city! The kava spritzer with fresh mango puree is one of the best beverages I've ever tasted. The owners have clearly done their homework to create a warm and welcoming space along with friendly, knowledgeable service. The vibe in here is unlike any place I've ever been---part bar, part coffee shop, part living room with an incredible sound system pumping chill beats. With the newest addition of a communal Bob Ross puzzle, I may never leave, and simply sip kava in bubbly bliss.

You need to try this place before it’s so popular that you can’t get it! It is unlike any other place in Lakewood. The energy there is so laid back, friendly, and welcoming.

The drinks are very interesting, and the staff is very helpful in picking one out. I tried their version of the mule with a green monkey botanical and it was very good. Check out the open mic night!

Wow! I am so happy to have learned about this place. The owner is very helpful and took the time to educate me and helped me make a decision on what to try. Looking forward to going back soon!

Kava is considered a healthier alternative to coffee and caffeine for its ability to produce a sense of euphoria and relaxation without affecting mental clarity and has the potential to be helpful in treating generalized anxiety and insomnia.. apparently it is the only kava bar in Ohio! Great vibe indoors and very knowledgeable baristas. Also, dogs are allowed and they take Apple Pay as an added bonus!

Never had kava before and I am a convert! Started with the tongue tingling Vanuatu then tried the Tonga which literally striped the days stress away. Oh. I’ll be back! This place is my new self care!

Because of this place, I have been alcohol free for over 6 months. I do enjoy going out in the evening from time to time, but all the options to do this were typically bars that serve alcohol, but then this place opened and gave me another option. I’ve always knew alcohol was hurting my mental psyche, but until sacred waters, I never had the strength to give it up (we live in a society that pressures alcohol consumption). So THANK YOU for that. Also, the atmosphere in here is usually quite delightful. Never too loud, can have meaningful deep conversations with strangers. I wish these kinds of cafes can open up everywhere. They are making a difference and building a beautiful community.

Delightfully relaxing space to get work done, chill out with friends, and of course enjoy the fresh tea. The cozy lounge area with games available is an awesome touch.

This place has a great vibe to it. Owners are super nice, space is very welcoming, and the kavarita was awesome. It was the perfect stop after going out to dinner!

This place is really laid back and great place to visit with friends, have great drinks and relax. Highly recommend kava chocolate peanut butter with a sweetener & oatmilk. Blue Lotus Kratom of lavender with sweetner.

This is one of the few places I can go, focus on work, and still have great conversations in-between. The drinks great and the entire staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

This magical place is the very first at which I've become anywhere near a semi-frequent regular, despite paling in comparison to many of its patrons. Everyone, including but far from limited to the staff, welcomes newcomers (myself in the beginning and just about everyone I've seen come through). There's a general air of acceptance and fun, Seeking and (mild) indulgence, community and safety within pure love. Lol, I know that's a lot, but I'm a lot and so is this place.

Anything on tap is always delicious! They're constantly crafting new drinks, but another fun decision is to mix and match your kava/kratom and juices/purees/syrups/etc. however seems yummiest to you. Their are lots of customization options.

They have an open mic night on Thursday nights at 8 PM that's full of local talent, and they're open till 1 AM Th-Sa and till midnight every other night! This place is literally all the best qualities of a bar and none of the worst.

Plus, there are comfy couches ;)
