The Blue Café

I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the staff is always friendly (which can be rare in some of the other nearby similar businesses). They have a great latte selection and I got their bagel sandwhich today, which was absolutely delicious and very fresh tasting. Prices are also really reasonable. They feature art from local artists. All around great small business to support and great for Lakewood.

This coffee spot is very friendly! I would go here every time I had a job nearby and I just loved their ice latte and I love their pastries as well. The staff there are always so friendly! It’s very welcoming no complaints! Ava was so sweet took her time to explain each product they had when I had questions. Overall this place is a hidden gem so welcoming I recommend!

Really nice place! Such a great idea. I am a nanny and I love to bring my Kids here. They enjoy playing and getting to spend time with other children while I can have a delicious drink! Staff is friendly. I like their snack options. The lattes are good too. My only complaints would be the prices (macarons & lattes $$$) and I wish the drinks we're a little hotter. But overall, worth it! And I love the new colorful decorations and paint!

Bella was the most helpful barista I’ve ever encountered. As a first timer my experience was wonderful. She answered all of my questions and concerns with friendliness and patience. I will 100% recommend to anyone who asks. I WILL be coming back!

I stopped by this morning to meet a customer for business and am glad that I did. Top notch service and very nice people. The long line at the register speaks for itself. Great coffee. Highly recommend.

The blue cafe is a fun new (last 6 months as of May 2022) coffee shop in Lakewood. The barista was very nice and friendly. The chai latte was delicious and unique. Next time I will try some of the bakery items as they had lots of options.

I came here to try a new cafe, great place to study and get work done, very nice and cozy. The barista was great, he gave good recommendations, I got the dirty chai which was pretty good. Definitely worth the visit, will come back!

Hey everyone not quite sure why I haven’t reviewed The Blue Cafe sooner. This is one of the many coffee shops in Lakewood. Tpappy and I walk here a few times a week to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a pastry sometime a breakfast sandwich. You can sit inside or out or walk across the street and enjoy one of Lakewood’s park. They have open mic night most Fridays but have yet to check one out. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for quick respite this is a good spot to try.

Excellent atmosphere for studying. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is delicious! Really easy (free) parking out back.

Formerly Playgrounds cafe, The Blue Cafe is really a hidden gem in Lakewood and for that matter in north east Ohio.

This place has a super relaxing vibe with great prices to match. If you're looking for some quality coffee and a spot to hangout this is for sure it. Not to mention all the yummy pastries they offer from the surrounding bakeries.

They just had their grand opening but I've been here a few times during the soft opening and it's been a great experience every time.

It's a must visit if you're in the area, I'm telling you.

I had an Americano and a blueberry scone. The coffee was excellent, down to the last sip! The scone was also very good, moist and tasty. Loved the ambience. Lots of tables for two, a few comfy chairs and one larger table for bigger groups. There's even a kiddie table in one corner for the small kids, complete with children's books. My friend had a latte with a giant vegan brownie. He praised his selections as well. Coffee shops are our thing and we'll both be back in the future!!

Blue Cafe has become a staple for me! Their drinks never miss, and the service is always very welcoming! Their lavender lemonade is my current obsession.

I just stopped by Blue Cafe for an Americano. Excellent coffee. So glad this little cafe is walking distance from my place. It was Saturday brunch time so they were busy. A short wait but worth it. Happy to see a small, local business thriving!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Wonderful service, coffee, and atmosphere. They just extended their hours and I hope they continue to grow and flourish. I work from home and can easily bring my computer here, can a great cup of coffee, and my two young kids can play in the Fort. This place cheers me up during a mundane work week. Love Play Grounds!

Umm, this place is the vibe! Coffee (latte) was perfect, desserts are good and the place itself is adorable and relaxed. 100% will be back again and again. I tried the Love Spell Latte for Valentine's day and it was absolutely perfect.
