Savanna was our server and she was AWESOME. The food was excellent and the rolls were amazing with butter and honey. The next time we are in the area we are coming here!

Me and my son had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. I had the fried okra and he had the fried mushrooms. 5 stars on this food. Price is well worth the portions. The staff are very nice and fast. The place is a nice country atmosphere. Makes you feel at home.

Everything was on point! The restaurant was so busy and now we know why!!! The food was very fresh and SO VERY delicious. If we could give more stars we would! In town for business, stopped in for lunch, but we are considering going back for dinner on our way home. Highly recommend! Very reasonably priced.

Wow! Stopped in heading through town. Best tasting, huge pancakes, biscuits and gravy are homemade, fried gizzards were perfect, even the turkey bacon ranch wrap was filling and real good. I know, I know, my food choices are all over the place. I just kept ordering more to try as much food as I could before going back out of town. People were super nice. Like a small town feel to it. Definitely a must stop!

We have stopped here after staying at an Airbnb in town. We come here as a stop over on our way to the cruise port. This place is wonderful. Big portions delicious food. Breakfast a great way to kick off the day. The wait staff is the same from a year ago. That says a lot.

The chicken fried steak was great along with the potatoes (to die for). Eggs were flavored too. For the combo appetizer we chose fried mushrooms, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and fries. The fried pickles were great the fried mushrooms could use some spices in the batter but good, the mozzarella sticks were great as well. It was so much the appetizer almost filled us up. Breakfast quesadilla was good as well. The service was awesome I definitely will go here again if i am ever in Alvin TX again. I definitely recommend.

Best onion rings ever, and the club sandwich was really good too!

I was in the mood for some old fashioned country style cooking and Busy Bee in Alvin did not let me down. They should call it Bussin Bee cause that food was fire! I had the hamburger steak with the gravy on the side, and grilled onions on the top, with some country potatoes and okra that was just like Granny C would whip up (unless it was after 8:30 pm) Definitely delicious and the spot to hit up after hours!

Have gone here for years. It's always nice to have some fresh downhome cooking. Jean is always wonderful. They call you by your name and know what you want before you do!!!

This place is an adorable little diner. It feels very welcoming and the food is delicious. Everything we ate was so tasty.

When I think wholesome home cooking I think of my momma's. But it's hard to get to her place when everyone's so busy.
So my boyfriend decided to surprise me by taking us here for a lunch date, and I'm so glad he did!!!
They are all awesome and responded to us so quickly, and seating is anywhere you want to sit. They are also one of the few places left that still has an enclosed smoking section.
The food was delicious and I'm definitely coming back. And Liz made sure we had what we needed. It was nice that she checked on us once while we were eating and after she cleaned the table we had an excellent conversation about anything that came to mind. I hope we get to pick her section again when we come back.

Our server was awesome. Staff was very friendly. I will definitely stop in next time I'm in the area.

Still worth the trip to Alvin! Still wonderful food! Wife said their beef liver was the best she ever had and she could cut it with a fork! We still need to go there more often... Great country cookin, worth the drive from Angleton to Alvin for their country fried steaks and mashed potatoes, while wife loves the beef liver and onions with white gravy...

Met our daughter for breakfast. Really nice to have waitresses that know you and are so friendly. Really like the vegetable omelette. The lady cook is really good.

Been back several times but most always for breakfast. I have really enjoyed it. Had a a long day and late at night really wanted to go out to get something to eat and decided to try here for a late meal. Ended up ordering the chicken fried steak. Had a side salad also with the corn casserole. Wasn't really impressed with the corn casserole but the side salad was huge. When the chicken fried steak came out it was like four meals worth. There were two huge steaks smothered in gravy. It was's really good with lots of leftover for other meals. My wife had the same with the mushrooms. They were huge and lots. Really good experience again.

I've never really had great experiences here though several of my friends like it. Usually the food has not been to my taste. This morning I had breakfast for the first time. The Omelette that I had was definitely very good. I would rate it one of the best and definitely the best that I've had at this location. However the people that serve the food though always seem to be depressed or unmotivated and it just isn't a very happy place for me to go.

I got to add to this one and change it. I went back with my friend today. He is a regular customer there and really likes the place. His mother had passed away and so we went to have some time together. The employees there showed great compassion to him and when I went to pay the bill they had paid for our meal. I had asked for the same omelette I had the prior day and again it was tremendously delicious. It was neat to see this whole other side to the employees. Very impressed and will be going back.

Great stop, my son wanted to stop in for breakfast. The service was great and the food was hot and tasty.

Loved their food. It was actually cheaper there than places I've eaten at before. The waitress was very nice.

Busy bee is so delish. It's a great place to go for home style cooking. I usually get a wrap when I'm trying to eat a little better. Their homemade chips are my favorite! Also a recommendation: get the cheese sticks!! They are the best cheese sticks I've eaten anywhere around. Corn casserole is a fave. My husband really likes the gizzards if you're into that kinda thing. Oh and one last thing, ask for Julie. She's amazing and will take care of you like family!

I love the service and the food is great.
I was looking for a keto friendly meal that would taste good and fuel me up. The flexibility that they have when customizing your food is comforting for me since I hate being the type to add and remove or replace.

Pulled up for a late night meal, thought they were close, but the server Lana jumped right out the door to make sure I knew they were open! Her service was wonderful and she anticipated every need. She had everything sparkling clean. Make sure to ask for her if you come in!
