Half Price Books

I wanted to give a shout out to an employee that may be the manager at this store. Not sure!
She is precious with a very sweet spirit!
I have frequented so many half price books in my life and I love them all obviously, but when you come across someone with a sweet spirit it just does something to you!
Especially recognizable these days more as so much madness and craziness seems to be affecting so many inc myself and its just nice to come across someone that still radiates goodness and a gentle spirit!
Especially at the very end of her shift!

It’s a very relaxing place to go to with quite the variety of books, games, dvds,
Manga, comics, and music! It has everything anyone could want from an entertainment standpoint. The staff there are also really friendly! Also don’t forget to check out their clearance section for some great deals and amazing finds!

Great selection. Easy process to sell books if you aren't in a hurry. I wish there were more audio book discs available for purchase for those long boring drives. Everyone was very kind and welcoming.

Got there right before they closed. ( I didn't know ) However everyone there was more than polite and very helpful. I was more than pleasantly surprised and more than happy with my purchase. Will definitely be back this time way before they close.

People there very nice and helpful.love the records there and DVDs to .very clean and peaceful there relaxing.take ur coffee and u can enjoy a book at there tables .

I visited half price books just a couple weeks ago with my family and there was one book in particular I was looking for there was a woman at the counter that was happy to help. She actually went upon herself to look in the system and told me that they had that book on file another store and they can send it to that location that was closer to my home and that I would receive a text when it arrived. The other day I received that message! I was excited with joy to know that my book was there and they delivered it. As I walked in to stand up the checkout line the gentleman checking me out at the counter was happy to help and I told him that there was a book being held for me he took my name and immediately found it. As soon as I had it in my hands I thought well just from a few weeks ago to today the customer service was splended! I'm a very happy customer!

Full disclosure: I love books and music! I took in my old Mech. Eng. Textbooks and received over $100! If you're looking for almost any subject, it's probably there. Hundreds of CDs, vinyl albums, magazines, travel guides, etc. Chill place to just browse the stacks.

Very organized and well kept. Found my book within minutes. Adequate parking. Attentive customer service. Great location.

Amazing place. I could get lost in here for hours and not want to be rescued. Discounted books, vinyls, and movies!! I know where I’ll be getting my next gift cards to giveaway. Discounts are real and there’s even a clearance section. Compared book prices online and they do save you money here. I’ll be back!

Great selection of books, movies, and CDs. I find a book on my wishlist every time I come here. Books are priced very well and other items too. Thank you! Well worth it! Will be back!

I expected an old bookstore with stacks everywhere, was pleasantly surprised at what i got! Old and new books(gotten from their distributor and sold at a slight discount) they also buy books. There’s records, movies, stationary, and an all together cozy atmosphere.

It is always a pleasure shopping at HPB. They have an amazing staff, a chill environment and most importantly affordable/good quality books!

All the books are in great condition. You practically get the video games for free. I got Madden 19 for the ps4 for 3 bucks

This is the only half price books I want to go to. The variety is large enough I always happily walk out with more than I planned on getting.

Today I was able to get my grandson a small plush toy and board book for his birthday. Also found a cute Japanese character tshirt for my daughter.
I went for and found some Japanese language books for myself. I'm a beginner, so I'm always on the lookout for easy books to practice reading.
Hint: if you're looking for foreign language books, don't forget to check out the kids section.
Occasionally they will have age appropriate books in that particular language, not just in the general foreign language section.
I got a manga book from the Japanese language shelf in the foreign books section.
I also got the Japanese short shory/picture book in Japanese in the kids section on the shelf categorized as "foreign languages".
From what I could tell they have kids books in Spanish(biggest selection) , German, French, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and a few other languages. Even a Euro-Asian language that -according to my Google Translate app appears to be Gunjati(?).
But of course books are always coming and going so you never know what foreign language book treasures you will find in the kids section so don't forget to check that out in addition to the general foreign language section, if you are looking for books to practice your language learning skills.

Found what I was looking for. Love their selection. Very organized. Staff is friendly and helpful.
