Bacon is cooked in the oven ergo, no grease and it snaps. Freeeessssssshhhhh, CRISP produce AAAAAND turkey even at 8:30pm. / Closing time. Spotless floors and tables. Great place to get a nice, light dinner and hang with or read or something.
In 2023, California standards, pricing is reasonable so we got great value. The workers really show pride in their work in that Skyler (I got her numbah...how do ya like dem apples?), repeated each order and asked if she had it all and the guy behind the counter near closing time, was wiping down the equipment like it was nobody's business. Absolutely spotless eatery. We'll return when we're in the area. Can't praise the fresh food and cleanliness enough. Really.

this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.

Their Ban mi sandwich is so delicious. Sometimes I even get 2 so that i can have 1 for dinner. Honestly, I don't think I have had anything bad from here. Their cookies are even delicious! Enjoy.

Damn covid: I would rather have done the traditional dining at a table, but instead, I did the take-out in a bag and brought it to my hotel room (Hampton Inn across the parking lot) complementing it with an Escondido beer I already bought at 7-Eleven. The posted menu and easy communication with the properly-masked cashier was effective. The cashier talked in the tone as if he was excited to show off the food. Truly outstanding, the properly-masked door-runner Sofia (I guess formerly waitress) had a lot of fun handing out the bags to customers obligatorily waiting outside, including me. Basically, the staff I encountered proved an idea that a restaurant can still deliver dinnertime fun, even though I, like others, miss the relaxed sit-down dining. Thanks to the staff, this take-out experience was a real blast! By the way, the Californian Veggie sandwich was delightfully delicious!😋 ...as I look back at this experience months later, this unique fun experience has never been duplicated anywhere else, which I wish it was.

Food is good the staff is very friendly. Prices are not bad considering the food quality and portion. Bread is fresh made on site.

The lady at the register was so friendly, I got my order fast and the food was good quality and tasty. It was my first time and I’ll definitely come back

Very tasty chicken sandwiches here. My favorite is the Santa Maria BBQ sandwich. The sandwiches come with a fresh salad on the side which makes for a balanced meal. The employees here are friendly and service is good!

Food was simple, straight forward, tasted fresh, and just really good. Nothing to ride home about but its definitely a good place to get quality food. Its not bad and you won't hate it. Better than most especially if you are trying to find healthier/cleaner options to enjoy.

Urbane Cafe has a nice menu of options from sandwiches to soups and salads... I was looking for a salad better than you get at a fast food place and this is it!

Salad was chilled not warm and avocado's were freshly ripe...
Very filling with a ton of Tri-tip.

I had delivered via DoorDash and was here with in 20 minutes after ordering during lunch rush... we ordered 3 other items

Great little walk up with a fresh menu - no burgers and fries. I had a salmon bowl with whole grain rice, edamame, roasted sweet potatoes with a sweet chili
Aioli sauce. Very good! Good and friendly service. Oh! The meal was served in a dish no cardboard or styrofoam!! Inside or patio dining!

2/12/2023 Best salmon deal around and so good. Kudos to this walk up for consistency in their menu items and friendly service. Did I mention the homemade bread?!

3/1/2023 Back again - tried the Crunchy Peanut Salad with Peanut dressing. So good! The greens were so fresh, chicken breast perfect, edamame, Persian cucumbers, crunchy peanuts. The peanut dressing is delicious. Also, compliments to the associates - all friendly, helpful! Shout out to Skylar who has worked at Urbane Cafe for quite a long time and it very friendly and helpful. She is the cashier and answers all my questions in a friendly manner!! 11/28/2023 Still five star for fresh food and service!! We had to mobile order a few times and it was ready when we arrived!!

Everyones very friendly, ordered the Cilantro Chicken Salad, it was done quick, super fresh, perfect for a hot day.

Really good food! If your a fan of clam chowder I recommend! The keto Shrimp bowl is one of my favorite plates to order😀
