The kayak rental is very easy ,fast, and only 40 dollars to rent a kayak for 24 hours. They have the hobie pedal drive kayaks there which are great for fishing

Prices are on the higher side but they have sales pretty often and a cool loyalty program too! If you enjoy the outdoors this is the spot for great gear locally.

Always friendly and helpful staff here. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but sent me to a competitor who did. Even though they couldn't make a sale to me that day, they gained more of my loyalty. I will always check here first for what I am looking for!

Almost overwhelming each time I enter this store... SO many great things I need to see! Always a great selection of quality products. There have been times that they were out of stock on a few things, but every single time they say they will have it, they have. Knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. This place is fantastic. Best customer service you're going to get anywhere. Employees are always friendly and if you frequent the store they take the time and effort to remember you and will remember your taste in equipment. It's always fun to walk in and have them call you buy name and say "hey check out this new thing we got, figured you might like it since you looked at this other thing last time." Possibly the biggest thing I love about this store is, they'll sell you what you need, not what will make them the most amount of money. That seems to be a rare trait among outdoor stores I've visited so it is a stand out trait of Pacific Outfitters. Couldn't recommend this store enough.

Went there for my first gun was helped by an employee named John. He provided excellent customer service and had an answer for every one of my questions. Had a great attitude was happy to help made my time and experience there very enjoyable and I will return and specifically request him for my customer service and needs.

I took 2 of my Glock 19's in for custom stipple work, a redesigned grip and polished internals and Chris Ostrom did the most amazing work I've seen. He was already busy with other customers but had both of my firearms done day's before promised. Pacific Outfitters in Ukiah had always had great customer service and I'll continue to shop there. Thank you Chris for making my firearms better than I ever thought.

ammo verity is big. all kinds of accessories for shooting and thinks related. many targets. they have the exact things i have been looking to find for a long time. self reseting targets paper targets ear pro got all the good stuff.

I went to the Pacific Outfitters in Arcata, was looking for a pair of Keen's shoes and they didn't have my size. I was planning to travel out of town, and was going to be going by Ukiah, so the salesperson checked the Ukiah store and put the shoes on hold for me. I was impressed with the customer service and how easy it was to walk in the Ukiah store and get the shoes I wanted. Great store!

Awesome place though I wish they still sold bikes. They carry Solomon shoes which are my preferred brand, beautiful kayaks, guns and camp equipment.

It can be kind of spendy for clothing or shoes but they have a lot of nifty stuff and its a good place to pick up pepper spray.

Fist off, my wife works here, but I truly appreciate the service and knowledge about their gear. If you need camping gear, shoes, kayaks, guns...you name it they will try to get you outfitted.
