ABC Children's Eye Specialists

The Mesa office was a little hard to find. It’s behind Firehouse Subs. The wait was about 8 minutes and the total time there was about 30 minutes. Both Doctors,, performed eye tests on my 6 year olds eyes. The doctor made her recommendations and truly seemed to care about my kid. They were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Best appointment I’ve been apart of in years.

We have seen Dr. Cassidy at ABC children’s eye specialists for over 15 years. He is amazing! He takes time to listen and understand the complexity of my sons challenging visual issues. He treats children with disabilities with respect and is so kind and knowledgeable. He understands things that other specialists do not. I highly recommend him! It is worth a wait to get into see him.

Dr. Smith and all the staff were very kind with my four year daughter, who struggles slightly with sensory processing and communication. Things were kept simple. The visit was a little long and came with a lot of waiting but we were warned before our appointment was made. It was no longer than we expected. The office is clean and very child friendly.

The lead, Parley, was helpful, friendly, and good with kids. Dr. Cassidy was wonderful! He was welcoming and great with kids. He cared for his patients like family!
The optical side was friendly. I do wish they took insurance though. I appreciated them working with me on a discount.

My grandson and I went mid morning and Dr Smith was on time even with there being alot of oeople in the waiting room. From the front of the office to the doctor was very friendly. Dr Smith was very patient and thorough with my grandson. Appointment was an hour and a half long. Would highly recommend ABC Children's Eye Specialists!

We had a great experience. They were right on time, explained everything and were thorough with the exam. The office staff was helpful and were ready for us when we came for our appointment.

Was very impressed with ABC eye specialists. They were very sweet with my special needs son and not aggressive at all like our last Dr. thank you so much for the TLC

The office staff were courteous. The doctor was personable and really listened to and took my son's description of his sight problems seriously.

First time coming and had a wonderful experience, Dr Smith and all the staff were amazing and friendly.

I have been taking my kid (4 y/o) for a few years now and they have always been great. Today however, they had a new Dr. I can’t remember his name but he was older, and I was not a fan. My kid is very sensitive when it come to his eyes and ears being touch especially with strangers, and this Dr was not patient at all. He was making comments and faces because my kid would freak out after having his eyes dilated. Again, my kid is 4. No doctor should act like that when they are taking care of children. But everyone else was great as always!

Excellent care and advice by all staff and medical specialists. We would recommend ABC eye specialists for any child related eye needs.

The staff are very nice. I was worried about my son seeing another Dr. After Dr Makoshi left. Thank God he likes his new Dr. Thank you Dr Alex Smith you are awesome 😊. Eric even call you a superman!!!

Caring and professional medical staff. Front end staff were kind and helpful. The wait was as expected. On a side note, I thought I was in the wrong place when I drove up because it looks empty and signage is poor. It didn't help that the door and windows are all privacy glass and with no name or indication that it's even occupied. The tree needs to be trimmed back to make the temporary sign more visible.

I don't write reviews but I had to for this place. I would highly recommend anybody to go here. My daughter is special needs so she has been seen at multiple different doctor's offices with that being said this office is by far the BEST EXPERIENCE my daughter and I have ever seen. Everybody from front office staff to medical assistants and the doctor just everybody was fantastic. The way they all interacted with my daughter they made her feel comfortable and so excited to get glasses. Thank you to everybody that works there.

I absolutely loved it here! My son is eight months old and we needed to check out one of his eyes because it was just a bit lazy.
The staff was so welcoming when we walked in. The process was very smooth and they had us in with the doctor in no time.
Everyone did an amazing job at explaining what they were going to do and what to expect. They were very gentle and patient with my son. I will definitely be bring my kids back here should we need any other services.

This is the best eye place for children that I have ever been to. My kids love coming and I trust the knowledgeable doctors. We do not buy their glasses here because they do not take insurance for the actual glasses, but I would not take them anywhere else for their exams and prescriptions.

It’s a busy place because there are not many pediatric Opthamologists in Arizona but they are efficient and get everyone through quickly to try and reduce the wait times. They do a fantastic job at balancing quick and thorough. They are friendly and you never feel rushed.
