Hobby Badger Games

Stopped by to see if they had what I need for my basic D&D needs, and did they ever!! They have everything you could need for pretty much any game, but their D&D Dungeon play room was probably the coolest thing I’ve seen. The room was vacant, so I was able to pop in and now I want to bring my friends here to play. They have everything you would need for your adventure, and the atmosphere is spectacular. The details really make the room amazing, and they have a big chest full of props for your maps. Great job Hobby Badger!

Great service, new store has great layout lots of space for people to come in and play. Added spaced created a lot of new inventory. Definitely a favorite place of mine to come play and hang out.

Stopped by after coming from the airport and was looking for Pokémon cards. Purchased only three single packs and managed to pull a huge hit. Very nice store and I highly recommend checking it out 💯🎁🥰

I had literally no business being in the shop; I've never played a tabletop and I've never actually even been in a shop like this. However! Everyone was kind and welcoming, letting me just browse around. They have lots of paint, tools, figures, games, and tables to play at. It's super spacious and organized really well! The vibe is chill and I feel like if I did end up needing something tabletop related, I could definitely come here to get it.

Great place to find miniatures, terrain, paints, and supplies. Good selection of games too. Magic and other card games can ve found here too.

Stopped by here on a comic and games crawl through the Sacramento area. While not the biggest store on our trip, this one was one of my favorites. The gentlemen up front were happy to just chat about hobbies we share, and they stocked several of the harder to find brands of miniature supplies like the AK line.

These guys will definitely be added to my list of must visit shops when i do this again!

These guys are awesome. Helpful and nice service provided with genuine interest in what you are looking for. Will be back and recomend. The gaming room is looking too notch and well worth the rental price .

Edit: Since their move, they are no longer next to Buffalo’s. There are plenty of new food options nearby though.

Great little hobby store. First in West Sac! Great employees and nice decor. Indoor and outdoor tables for sessions and tournaments coming soon 👀. Right next to Buffalo's pizza, so game night munchies are easily satisfied. My go-to table top store. West Sac resident owned and operated. Nice helpful guys. Finally West Sacramento's own game store. Staff was super helpful, didn't feel pressured to buy buy buy. Fun contests and looking forward to gaming events to come. Follow their FB page for details and a welcoming environment to all skill levels.

I regularly frequent this place. Began coming here after giving up magic the gathering and had a growing interest in warhammer 40k. Hobby badger had everything I needed and then some because i found not only supplies but also my way into a community of very cool people. Ive done narrative play as well as matched play games and have learned everything about the game here. Its my go-to place.

New local shop. We finally have a TTRPG store in West Sac!! They have really good prices and keep the shelves stocked up. They are really friendly and always willing to have a chat. Also, 10% discounts for locals.

Nice people, lotta paint/minis for WH40K, Fallout, D&D, and so on. Dice, handbooks, and more. They let me know that they would be having outdoor tournies in the back, presumably for painting and WH40K contests, come summer 2021.

Only legit game shop in Yolo county, it seems. Not much in the way for Magic: The Gathering, but they've got the table top games covered. 👍

Oh! The owner also takes commissions for painting minis, too.

Nice owner and great little shop. Wish I had more time to frequent and play some games but y'know wrk SUCKS! Met up with a friend and played some Warmachine. Need to figure out how to get a group togetha for Warmachine/Hordes and Battletech.

I've always had really good experiences with the folks here, they're genuinely passionate about the products they stock and seem to be just good people overall. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Excellent experience, went in for dice and found some excellent choices to select from. Got to talk some D&D shop for a little while and felt very welcome. Can't wait to visit again :)

Good vibes, helpful staff, and a good selection of D&D, Wh40k, and other hobby goods. They hold paint contests and wh40k tournaments also.
