Starbucks

I walked here with my Mom, sister and her two little kids a couple nights ago. We were taking the kids on a special walk to spend a gift certificate my sister since they had been good. We had no idea it was going to start pouring rain when we were halfway there. It was very heavy for us San Diegans for about ten mins while we ran to the nearest building offering covering to get out of the rain for a minute till it slowed down. The kids still were down to keep walking to Starbucks and we were already soaking wet it couldn't get any wetter, so we kept going. It was a Friday night and there was only one other customer so we were able to order right when we got there. Well my sister pulled her gift card out of her pocket to hand to the cashier to pay and it was soaked... Not only soaked it was made out of paper/cardboard and had totally warped swelled with rain water. There was no way it was gonna be able to be used on the card machine and they don't have a capability to manually enter it and we didn't have the Starbucks app. My nephew was heartbroken tho my mom or I was ready to pay for their drinks, he said oh man we walked all the way and in the rain and now we're wet and can't use the gift card he was so sad. The cashier told my sister he would take care of them and still give them their order and suggested that she go on the app when she is ready to use it next time and order there where she can enter the gift card manually. That was so sweet that he still gave them what they intended to order. My nephew got the biggest smile when he realized he was still gonna get his drink.
The cashier made our night because of his kindness. The drinks were all very good and we now have a funny memory to share with loved ones about the night we decided to walk to Starbucks and it poured rain on us. The store was very clean and even though we got there about 15 mins before close the employees didn't mind making our orders and having to rewash everything again.
I wanted to add the cashier's name to this review but I didn't see a name tag. But he works Friday nights!

I love this Starbucks location. Very friendly and great customer service. I love how they ask for your name so nicely. Downtown El Cajon has the views bro 👌

Took my daughter here to get a mocha. She is disabled and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Prompt service and great staff. I highly recommend this location!

They are always busy, and parking is hard to find. Workers are extremely nice.

Fantastic coffee fantastic service one of San Diego's best. The only problem is that occasionally, homeless and mentally ill persons disturb this place by throwing full creamers in the trash and other things. The staff members, however, are courteous and compassionate to others who are less fortunate. I must sincerely praise them.

Delicious coffee, fresh fruit and hot pastries. Good restrooms.

An abnormally friendly staff completely took me off guard in a world of continuously colder customer service. The two baristas proved their Love for their jobs. I regret not taking their names so I could highlight them to corporate/management for above and beyond service.

Great coffee. Excellent service. One of the best in San Diego. Only issue, on occasion is the homeless and mentally impaired people who disrupt this establishment by tossing full creamers in the trash and other. However, the employee's show kindness and compassion to those less fortunate. Truly I have to commend them.

Starbucks can guarantee the same taste same quality and the same service anywhere and any store you go to. I love that of Starbucks, the persistent.
And not only that but if you order online using the Starbucks app they will have your beverage ready for you when you come without to queue and waited for your drink to be prepared
And if course the free iced water that you can order at any Starbucks store

This Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks Tim walking distance of my apartment and on the way to church this one is the most frequent stop sign make I come to this one all the time

My favorite Starbucks in all over San Diego and I've been to many (I'm probably a Starbucks addict now). I go there maybe four to five times per week and gonna continue to do so. They have the best staff. Great customer service and they remember your name. I usually too lazy to give Starbucks my real name, because it was unusual, and often give them my *fake* name, but to my surprise they remember my real name! I must've given them the real one at one time and they REMEMBER!

The Starbucks folks are great! They're always on the ball and they care. Friendly and caring goes a long way with me. I'm a customer for life, and I expect to live a long time.
