Rob’s Brewpoint

This place is a gem. We have been trying Non Chain coffee shops in the area and this one has been our top pick so far. Customer service is superb. Vibe is chill. Coffee art is beautiful, perfect for the social media pics. I am not a photographer so my photos don’t do it justice. Typically it comes in a ceramic cup but today we got it to go and they still did the art on top. Not only was is it beautiful the flavor was divine. Deep dark chocolate notes, bitter but NOT acidic, just perfect. No need to shop around any longer for a coffee shop to replace the chain this is our new go to place.

Robs is a sweet spot in El cajon. The only thing that could be improved would be the hours 😜 when you need a coffee after work it's such a bummer to have to not enjoy it because they close in 5 minutes... But it's good coffee great place to meet someone! I had a charcoal latte and it was tasty 😋

The quality is excellent and I love the ambiance here, El cajon needed this desperately and I'm so grateful for Robs Brewpoint. A person's morning coffee is so important, they get it. Love supporting this local small business.

Rob's is amazing - ever since it opened, we have enjoyed some of the best espresso and cold brew in San Diego. Everyone there makes an effort to make you feel welcome and part of the community. This will always be our coffee spot in East County!

The simple fact they had kids books, toys, and a chalk wall is a win! Yummy coffee and single origin beans. My lavender latte was really yummy and we enjoyed the banana bread and another brownsugar pastry. Hubby got a pour over and could drink it black so that's good news, too! Glad we stopped by.

I love this little spot. The customer service is wonderful, the coffee is delicious. It's exactly what the area needed.

This coffee shop is sooo cool, love how helpful the staff are, great in house recipes. Very nice wall art, nice merch. Definitely recommend coming and checking out

Before the stinker Rob took away my screwball (peanutbutter flave) that was my jam! Now the bourbon iced coffee with oatmilk is my goto. So much more depth and flavor in this coffee compared to Starbucks. And I worked for them for years.

We stopped in around 730 in the morning and there was one worker who already had 2 customers before us and one who walked in after. So we knew there was gonna be a slight wait. The shop itself is clean and decorated with chalkboard all along the wall that has gorgeous drawings on them. The staff was super nice and made our drinks quickly. Will be trying more menu items very soon!

Found this place while driving through El Cajon. Got myself a americano with a splash of heavy cream. It was great!

The brown sugar latte was awesome and not too sweet at all. Creamy and tasty...I wish they had bigger sizes but it was good and a nice change up front he chain coffees. A little pricey but worth a shot for sure

This place had some of the most flavorful & fun drinks! Featuring the usuals, the seasonals and the cameos. If you’re looking for a great brew, this is the place!

I’ve heard so much about Rob’s Brewpoint and couldn’t wait to try it! Today was the day & I was not disappointed. Rob was there and served me a hot cup of lavender tea... which is a must try!! This is a great new addition to the neighborhood! If you haven’t checked it out yet... you’ll want to!

Came here for the first time. It's a very nice shop to walk into. The blackboard walls are fun. If I were to have my coffee or tea in-house, I'd want to draw on the wall.

Ordered a vanilla latte and iced ube latte. Both with oat milk. Could I taste the ube? I don't think I could. Either there wasn't enough syrup OR it was the overpowering flavor of the oat milk. I'm leaning toward the latter cuz both drinks actually tasted pretty similar. So next I come here, I'll get a different milk alternative.

Did I like the drinks? Yes! Just cuz they tasted similar didn't take away from the fact they tasted good.

Those drinks were poured to the brim. The latte art was a bonus for my eyes. My first sip of the vanilla latte was the first source of sustenance I had for the day. Rob (or whoever that was who made it), you were absolutely right. I needed it. THANK YOU.

After looking more at the menu on the wall while waiting for my drinks, I look forward to trying more here. Eyeing that cortado.

NOT a good place to post up and work (at least not if you’re a mortal with a bladder.. lol) NO bathrooms (not even for customers). The worker mentioned the donut shop across the street - they also don’t have one. Nowhere nearby does. Cute place though to grab and go. The iced Americano was delightful. The music was loud (above average) but really good (10/10 music selection). Some outdoor and indoor seating.

Found this little gem in El Cahon! Megan (not sure on spelling) told me about the “Holiday Pie” iced coffee- yummmmmnnmmmmmmmmmmm!! I am from New England where we take our iced coffee seriously. This was one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had. Not too sweet, with oat milk. I give 2 thumbs up for Service and coffee :)

I've been coming here for a few months now. The coffee is always perfect and rich in flavor, no matter what I get. The owner and staff are always chill and accommodating, the music is always great, and it's got great seating inside and out. This is where I go to just relax a bit on a weekly basis. Highly recommend.

lovely shop. employees are very welcoming and kind. coffee is great too! this would be a great place to study since they have wifi and outlets. i went on a sunday and there were some people but it was a pretty quiet area. definitely plan on going back
