Was my first time going into Schaller's, more of a surprise than anything else. Sometimes a gem falls into ones lap. I ordered the Fish Fry and was not disappointed. I usually do not give a five star rating the first time I eat somewhere. But I have to make an exception this time.

Schaller's is a place you definitely want to try for the Fish Fry.
The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. I've been in Rochester for a long time, growing up in Webster, but never stopping here before. I won't make that mistake again.

I also want to take the time out to thank the person who took my order. Her name is Sam, and she really seems to like working there. Thanks again Sam for the good conversation, and making an old man feel young again, you were my one blessing for the day!

The only request from me is that they update the prices on their website. They are misleading. That was the only downside to my experience.

Again, stop at Schaller's, you won't be disappointed. One of the best Fish Fries in Rochester.

Growing up my mother would always bring me and my brothers here on weekends, sometimes even weeknights😊

We still come here all the time, and now with her grandkids, they LOVE SCHALLER'S just as much as we do lol😂

This place always feels like home whenever we visit.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The great part about here is that they are always fully staffed and very fast.
Thanks for still being around all these years later and remaining the same great people that I remember when I was a kid.🥰

Schallers has been serving me the best, $6.50 burgers for 40 years. You can get a big cup of ice water for free. The French fries are good, and plentiful. You'll be be sorry you couldn't leave a tip. It's self service. Get everything on your burger. Perfetto.

Still Rochesters best burgers. Consistent for decades, best hot sauce. Killer sweet potato fries go Great with garbage plates (Thursdays only) , trust me. We hit the E Ridge location late on a Thursday... jackpot.

Love it here. Just happened to be nearby. Wish there were more locations. If I were them I would start offering chicken wings as well. Only fresh wings though not the frozen ones and make a plate out of it. Fresh wings makes all the difference. Also, consider making your own freshly made FF like In n’ Out does to differentiate yourselves from all of the other burger places. It really wouldn’t cost you that much more in labor to do so. Also, keep the pickles. Love them!! Also, not sure if you have this but offer a fried egg for the burgers as well. Yummy!!

A relaxing place to eat and to dine in. My favorite is Schaller's cheeseburger plate with chicken tenders awesome combo

The customers were extremely rude to staff. Staff remained polite. Kudos to them!

Oh my gosh yummy. I'm not from NY but my boyfriend brought me here. I get the double cheeseburger and it is delicious. I'm not fond of their chili so it's not on my burger. The staff is always nice and you don't have to wait too long. Make sure you have plenty of napkins 😉

I have been coming to Schaller's since a little kid. It was always a good time then, and is still a good time now. The food is awesome, and the pickles 😋 The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here, at any of their locations. Very happy they are still in business and hope they are for many many more years 😎

Love their food. I get it every time I visit home. Wish they had one in Georgia. First place I go when k come home!

Visiting family at the beginning of November and nothing made me feel more home then the rainy cold weather and a delicious Garbage Plate from Schaller's. You guys should totally open a Jacksonville Florida location.

The food was great! The staff seem to get along. However, I'm going to comment because if a particular situation. I'm sure my review will change again soon. However, I went there on 10/6/23, and I could hear the manager or shift leader asking one if the employees to finish something that should've been doing a while ago. He gave ever excuse as to why he couldn't do it. It was offered for him and another person to work on it together. At one point, a customer said, "there's no I in team." She was correct, and as a black woman who watched that, it was a little embarrassing to see that from a young black male. The manager who was cooking the food was very polite, and I commend her on how she handled the situation. To be completely honest, if her had argued with me like that, I would've just fired him and asked him to get out of the establishment. You should never have back talk to your manager, especially if something was part of the job.

Other than that, everything was excellent! I will be back. If that young man is in there, I'll have a few words next time with a manager present.

I have a new burger joint favorite, Schaller's!
I ordered chili, mozzarella sticks, and a cheeseburger w/ bacon, grilled peppers, lettuce, everything (mustard/onion/hot sauce), on a hard roll.

The chili was very tasty and had a surprising punch of heat (as it should!). The mozzarella sticks almost didn't make it home! 😂 You can't have just one! And the burger was phenomenal. It's exactly what a burger joint burger should be; not fancy, loaded with onions, and keep you wanting to eat more!

Food is always good. Today was busy. A bunch of Staff but...it took 15 mins for my fries, really. While my burger was sitting in the bag! A lot of pickup orders. But it won't stop me from going 😅😅 Get that business!!

Grew up in ROC...always get off the plane and directly to Schaller's. Best burger & hot sauce 😋

First choice for hangover cure would be cheeseburger w ketchup and their famous meat hot sauce. Just visited east ridge location but always have enjoyed their location by the beach. I have been coming here for over 30 years and always consistently amazing at every location.

Had a good hamburger. I was surprised I couldn’t get tomato on it, but when you get great service, you can’t complain. This was my first visit and everyone made me feel like a member of the family that came for a visit.

Schaller's is a great place for a burger and fries. I had never gone to Schaller's on Ridge Road. The service was fast and the counter attendants were so very nice. My wife and I will go here again, probably soon.

This place hasn’t changed in 30 years (except the prices). Excellent Rochester establishment for a quick burger and fries. Definitely recommended.
