Parkside Diner

We always have great service and delicious food. Prices are very reasonable, and you can sit outside in the summer. They have tables with umbrellas and even a big tent. It looks small on the outside but there are lots of tables inside. This diner is a favorite for locals.

Second time here since moving back. Last time was amazing. The waitress remembered me from over a month ago and is super friendly. Gave me time to go through the menu without interrupting me, always a plus. I ordered the strip and eggs with the pumpkin soup. The steak was a perfect med rare, it did need some salt and pepper but I'd rather add my own. The eggs and potatoes were perfect, no seasoning needed for the home fries. Now let's talk about that soup. I remember the first time I had a home made sweet potato pie, it was life changing. This soup mmmmmm. If you like pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie, try this soup it will not disappoint. As always the service was amazing.

Arrived just before closing (stopped in, unaware of hours) and were treated so nicely, told to take our time. Had the bacon cheeseburger special with fries and mac salad - it was huge, but delicious so we took leftovers for supper 😊

Amazing family Diner where the food is fresh, hot, delicious, and served with a smile. Our waitress, Debbie was very attentive and fun to chat with. We are Breakfast there, 7 of us, and w water and to be seated right away because they have indoor and outdoor seating! AND The diner supports Ukrainian efforts in the war! Which is very special to us since we have 2 Ukrainian people living with us who are escaping the war due to health issues. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Parkside Diner is a popular unique little place. It is only open until 2:00 pm for breakfast and lunch, and then closes for the day. It is usually packed with people, especially in the summer, due to being near Seabreeze Amusement Park. Also, the owners own and run the oldest miniature golf course in the U.S., and it's right next door to the restaurant. The menu offers lots of yummy choices, and buying a lunch entree entitles you to enjoy their little ice cream bar where you can make a cone or a sundae at no extra cost. Prices are excellent and portions are large. The diner is also next to a walking/biking path that leads to beautiful Durand Eastman Park on Lake Ontario.

One of the best diners in all of Rochester! Been going here since I was a zygote 😂 the expansive menu features several delectable options, including my amazing cinnamon roll pancakes 🥞 😋 A Rochester Staple!

Parkside is a great NW of Rochester breakfast stop!

I frequent this little joint with friends and family for its' amazing hollandaise sauce and constantly HOT breakfast plates! The food is fresh, simple, and done right! If they could offer an upgrade to their coffee bar (for example, an espresso machine) I think it would only increase their already booming business.

I'm grateful for their fair pricing and quick turn arounds--because of these things and more; Parkside is always packed!

I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because I think the place needs a deep clean and a little updating.

This in no way detracts from the locals or my own overall satisfaction with Parkside! I happen to know from personal restaurant experience that it seems they could do better with profit turn around, and it would be worth the investment of continuing to update their diner. People love it here so why not expand, or renovate?

What can I say, Parkside Diner is a ringer!

The connoli french toast was very rich and very good. Felt more like a dessert than a breakfast food. You can not go wrong with their eggs benedict either. They were just what you'd expect.

Fun and people are really nice food don’t even take that long especially since we had 15 people or more for group when I was there. Food was great and if you want something plain but some flavor I recommend the strawberry waffle.

OMG i absolutely love Parkside Diner absolutely delicious breakfast French toast with fresh strawberries and whipped cream plus the fajita plates for breakfast need i say more. From all the guys at Mavis Tire love you

Tried the chicken salad sandwich, Buffalo chicken chowder and Mac salad. The chowder was fantastic, sandwich was quite tasty. Mac salad was a miss for me but didn't deter from overall. Big plus of use of the ice cream bar when ordering lunch menu, yum. Wait staff was friendly, atmosphere was normal diner style. Overall a diamond thats been hiding around the corner from home and I will return.

Our first time there was the day in-person dining was allowed to reopen. All the staff was wondering and attentive. The menu has a ton to offer! We selected breakfast for dinner and were thrilled with the plates and prices. The skillet had tons of food and my pancakes were massive! We will be returning!

Nice family diner the service staff was amazingly nice and professional. I will be going there again. Must try the RUBIN sandwich. Yum!

Great food and in an awesome location to grab breakfast before a day on the water or a trip to Seabrease!
They have a dog friendly patio to bring your fur baby! And their portions are quite hearty! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

So my brother in-law said that this was his favorite place to eat.I also had a couple coworkers who had the same reaction to this restaurant. I read some of the reviews good and bad.I decided to go and try it with my wife. We ate there today. I had 2 pancakes and a potato pancake,bacon, scrambled eggs,toast.. All were good. My wife had the hot roast beef with mashed potatoes. Not sure if the potatoes were scratch but everything tasted good. Service was great.. I'm glad we stopped. Definitely will have to go back.

Anytime we are back in Rochester. Parkside is our only breakfast stop. We love the blue plate special!
