Friendly and helpful. Didn't have the niche part in- house that I needed, but did everything they could to help me out (including sending me to a business that could)

We were trying to do some wiring ourselves and had a question about splicing certain wires. Wasn't sure who to ask, took a chance and called Mayer Electric, she transferred me to a gentleman named Cowboy. He explained several things to me and was a huge help! That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days! Excellent job Cowboy!😊

One of the best electrical supply places around. Always find what will get me going. If they don't Cowboy will at least make you laugh about it

Stop by and see cowboy and his staff for all your cabling and electrical needs. The price is moderate. However you will feel appreciative towards the friendly service and empathy from the staff.

This afternoon I went into Dothan Southside Lowe's, walked up to the Pro Desk & asked a gentleman about the pros and cons of LED lighting vs fluorescent lighting for my new steel building. He replied that he didn't know. I asked him if he could refer me to someone else in the Pro Desk dept. who was experienced in the electrical field. He said they didn't have anyone. He said that I could go over to the electrical dept. & wait for someone to help me. I asked him if anyone there had electrical knowledge about the 20 item list my electrician gave me which included a breaker box, 200 feet of conduit, 40 feet of electrical PVC, etc. He kindly stated that he didn't know. I replied that I was heading on out & said thanks.

I normally love Lowe's, for a variety of reasons however, they continuously make the mistake of not hiring individuals with experience in the various departments they work in. This is a common scenario at Dothan Southside Lowe's.

I got in my truck & headed to Mayer Electric where I was respectfully greeted by the staff. I showed my list to Derrick Segers. He was familiar with everything on the list. He had a question about 2 of the items & asked if he could call my electrician. I gave him the number. He quickly verified what my electrian needed & began to compile the order.

While waiting, I noted that Mayer Electric has a impressive inventory for both commercial & residential needs as well as a good variety of tools.

For the 45 minutes I was there, I witnessed 10 other individuals making purchases, some electricians, others were consumers like me who hire electricians.

Everyone was treated with kindness & respect. Any time there was a question, an answer was found.

Having recently relocated to the Dothan, Alabama area, it was a relief to discover an electrical supply company with excellent employees who have a true commitment to superior representation.

The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and patient. the prices were excellent, I'll be doing a lot more business with Mayer Electric.
