I recently had a severe retinal bleed which required surgery. Everyone from Michelle (my surgery counselor), the surgery scheduler, and the operating room staff were amazing (I was a bit under so I cannot remember everyone I would like to thank but I remember Prudence who explained the surgery and what was going to happen, Carla, R.N. who was my post-op nurse and took really good care of me and even walked me to my friend's car, Paul - the awesome anesthesiologist and finally Dr. Adelberg who did an amazing job - as always. I'm still healing but I am starting to see where I could not before out of my eye. You are ALL great! Thank you so much!

I had a pressure check with Dr. Pugh. The entire staff was very competent and professional! While it takes me about 45 minutes to get there, I always feel like it's time well spent, as the service and treatment I receive is excellent! I highly recommend Southwestern Eye Center. I've had pigmentary glaucoma for about 50 years and have been to many different facilities during my 70 years of age, and SEC is close to the top for me in all areas.

I was very comfortable and satisfied with the care I was given.from the front desk on up to the doctor. So many places anymore treat you like you're a number but here they treat you almost like family. It was my first visit there and I was treated like I'd been going there for years. SouthWest Eye Center is phenomenal. Dr. Lewis gives his patients 100percent care and listens to your needs and worry's. His staff make you feel comfortable, care for you and are very friendly. This is a huge practice, with literally dozens of doctors, and a support staff to match. Even so, they treat you like you're the only patient in the building. I was amazed and very happy with every part of my visits. I saw Dr. John M. Lewis because I needed a laser treatment to prevent glaucoma. Dr. Lewis and the professionals that worked with him were warm and welcoming, and explained every step in my treatment in understandable terms and with answers to my questions.
The laser treatment itself was not "scary" only because the Doctor had explained in depth what would happen. I had both eyes done at the same time and it went off without a 'hitch' thanks to the skill of the Doctor and the staff. Believe me, if anyone were to ask about a doctor for any type of eye problem, Southwestern will be the only place i recommend.

I've had multiple appointments here, all with a very professional and pleasant experience. Haven't found even one of the staff slip through the cracks toward unkindness or unprofessionalism. I have many more appointments with my Surgeons and Technicians and looking forward to it. It is a busy place so patience is expected.

The staff is very friendly, I received clear and specific documentation and answers to my questions. I'm overjoyed with the results of my cataract surgeries!

From the beginning everyone there was so nice, and caring! Dr Peterson removed my cataract in about ten minutes. It did not hurt at all.

The staff and doctor were excellent! I was very uneasy about having cataract surgery but I felt very well cared for and knew I could contact them afterwards with any questions or concerns I had! Wonderful, caring Eye Care Center!

I was recommended by my Primary eye doctor to have an ingrown eyelashes correction surgery done in order to prevent further damages to my eyes.
The first time I met my surgeon Dr. Angela Perry, I was impressed with her genuine kindness. She did some exams and asked me several questions. And before I left the examine room, she handed me a piece of paper with her personal telephone number on it and asked me to call her any time when I have a question before the surgery. I was stunned! In all my life working with doctors I have never given any doctor’s personal phone numbers.
Ture to her promise, when I texted her the first time, she responded a couple minutes later! I didn’t want to bother her because I realized that she could be with a patient or in the middle of a surgery. But I realized that it seems to her that any questions from any of her patients are truly important and urgent to that individual patient. And she has always managed to respond to them as promptly as she could, before OR after the surgery. And all the nurses in the Surgery center know about it too.
My surgery is a great success. I don’t have to suffer painful eye irritation 24 hours a day anymore. Thanks to Dr. Perry! My most memorable experience is the feeling that I have knowing that my doctor really cares, and that she would do anything to help me. That feeling is priceless!

I really like going to Southwestern Eye Center. I am happy with both of my doctors. Dr Adelberg on Stapley in Mesa & Dr Palmer on Miller in Scottsdale. I have been with them for years.
